In general, the rest of the staff are fairly nice. One could learn a bit about customer satisfaction, and that the customer is "always" right. But, again, they are a very nice team, warm, welcoming, and willing to help you find what will make you happy. I am grateful for Chelsea Vision Care.

At this point, I give much of that credit to Dr. Wennersten and his staff. Everyone is friendly. The facilities are always comfortable. I almost always get a seat with a window which tends to make things feel less socially sterile. The visits are always quick and generally painless. And most importantly, I think that everyone is trained in such a way, that when they are conversing with you or asking a question, they do so when they know you can actually reply and not with some crazy instrument stuck in your mouth as it's trying to suck your face off of your skull. I tend to always leave hoping that I run into Dr. Wennersten or his staff somewhere else, because I frankly think they would all be great people to know. Despite my request and despite clearly needing health precautions, he refused to wear a mask. Keep in mind that during an eye exam, he would be breathing on me from mere inches away. For someone with a semi-medical degree to ignore the science so blatantly and put his own patients at risk is inexcusabl, immoral, and unprofessional. He's a disgrace to the term 'doctor.' Fortunately the other optometrist, Dr. Frannsem, cheerfully wore a mask. Tamara, the woman who helped select frames with me was perfectly willing to put on a mask. If I could rate her separately, it would be five stars! She obviously cares about the patients, and was enormously helpful in finding exactly the right frames for me. Bottom line: if you can't go to another optometrist and have to go to Gregory Optical, make sure you make your appointment with Dr. Frannsem. Even if you don't care about your health-care provider masking up, obviously Carter is in it for the money and not for his the health of the patients.

The worst was my right eye which was 35 eye pressure and optic nerve damage. The left also had glaucoma. She referred me to Dr. Gago, specialist, and with two kinds of drops and laser treatments brought by eye pressure down to 20 and below. However, the damage was done. My eyes have been stable but I am afraid to have the necessary surgery which I can no longer put off. Hopefully she has learned from her mistakes as a Doctor but I would think twice about getting her as your doctor.

She also helped me find glasses and contacts that would fit with my lifestyle and sensory sensitivities. The staff were excellent as well at every point of the process.
