I took my mother there and saw Dr Dan Ricchiuti and she was tested for bladder cancer and after 3 weeks she never heard back so I had to call the office. After numerous calls and messages, someone finally answered the phone. I was told my mother's tests were negative and she was fine. Why did nobody call to let her know? She spent 3 weeks wondering if she had cancer or not. I asked to speak to management and spoke to Amelia and she was very rude and talked down to me like I was stupid. The office has new employees every time I take my mom for an appointment , and none of them look or act professional. Just a very unorginized practice with many rude workers and managers. My mother will be switching to Southwoods from now on!

His staff has stayed with him over the years and speaks highly of how they are treated which says A LOT about a Doctor. The hospital staff says the same. He is one of the only doctors who shows up at the hospital to check on you. I'm not sure how he does it. His staff is equally as kind. Through the years he has sat next to me to comfort me as I sobbed and has put his hand in my forehead to pray for me. His staff returns calls promptly and never makes you feel like a hindrance. I'd make him my doctor too if I could because he's that good.

My ex wife was very scorned and alienated my oldest children against me and I was in a very bad place. As we were discussing my past experiences that made me into the person I was, we discovered that growing up with divorced parents with addiction that the best form of treatment would be a program called ACOA (Adult Children of Alcoholics). As we worked through the program I was able to learn and love my parents for who they were/are as they were doing the best job they could, and not my thoughts on who they should have been. What a freeing feeling to discover as I let go of my expectation of them and realized they are human too. Every session Joe would greet me with positive compliments and every time I would just shrug it off as not significant until I started to believe that I am worth more than what I thought of myself. I learned to love my messed up self and my confidence boosted and I started focusing on the positive things in my life and not the negative. It's been about 2 years since we last met and the lessons I learned through the ACOA program and his help in guiding me to love myself has continued to grow. Joe is a very genuine person and wants to help everyone whom he comes in contact with.
