Honest review from seasoned antique buyer: Scored some cool stuff at April 2026 show. Found a really amazing painting thats worth 10X what I paid. Saw some new dealers with gorgeous stuff, talked to some old regulars. Had a fun day. Atlanta Scott Antique Market has some decent antiques, and some not so decent vendors, but thats the fun of going to these shows. If you know what to look for, you can definitely score a bargain. This is not the Atlanta Antique scene of the 70's-80's-90's anymore, but there are still big high-end dealers who know their stuff! I don't mind the costume jewelry and used hand-bag people setting up a booth. This is the World we live in now. Here's the FACTS about Scotts Antiques..and all you need to know: 1. Wednesday is set-up day for dealers. Lots of early buying and selling goes on among them. Not open to public. 2. Thursday is the BEST day to attend, as dealers have full booths with best items. Designers and serious collectors do their shopping this day. Best day for public to attend. 3. Friday-saturday most likely to be busy with families, dealers probably willing to bargain on Saturday as they all know that SUNDAY is dead. 4. Don't bother coming Sunday unless you get there at 10AM. From 10-12 dealers will bargain do they don't have to load-up those big heavy items. By 2 PM, most dealers are packing up and just want to go home. Not uncommon to see empty booths even though Scotts has a rule about dealers leaving early. I don't think Scotts should charge public entry on Sundays. North Building is higher quality than South Building.. do plan to visit both. They have free shuttle between two locations. read more

This place used to be so cool. Two massive warehouses of stuff and an outdoor yard sale vibe as well. But over the last three years it's just turned into a couple of stalls that were worth it while everything else is furniture reupholsteres and over priced furniture and odds and ends. Attitude isn't good..the supposedly professional quarter Guy didn't know what he was looking at.. offered me a dollar for a spitting quarter..the coin also had 4 grease stamps that made the 8 and 3 letters almost gone..got it graded and sold for $6000.. Saw a few TikTok's on this place and decided to stop by here to see what I could find. Honestly, they had some cool finds but the prices were too expensive in my opinion. OK so it's not as great as it used to be. But if you want to have a great selection, and you want to get it at a good price, this is a place to go and get the best selection round. South building has newish furniture and great rugs in the back. They have antique rugs, as well as New imitations But the north building is just chalk, full of where your regular antiques and vintage dealers buy their things, and then mark the prices up. It's true you have to know what you're looking for but this has been the place to go over several states for years. It still is. read more

Like many businesses, Scott has been sidelined by the pandemic. There aren't as many vendors as there were pre-Covid, and it didn't look like any shoppers were on a buyer's frenzy. Some Yelpers complain about the lack of antiques. The business might be better served by altering their name to "Scott Antiques, Collectibles and Such." There's more "such" now than ever -- particularly furniture. But interesting and unique furniture. I notice my favorite vendors are gone like my "jewelry lady" and the fellow I bought barge ware from. But don't get me wrong. There are still plenty of booths and enough interesting merchandise to hold my interest. Prior to the pandemic we'd always start at the South building, then move the car over to the North, which traditionally has been pricier. Prices today were comparable and I was more interested in merchandise for sale in the North than in the South. Know that if you go on Sunday, many vendors start packing up early. Some at noon. Admission is still $5 per person. (You can generally find a $1-off coupon in the Atlanta Journal a few days prior. You'll need one coupon per person.) While I'm not chomping at the bit to return, I probably will within the year to see how things evolve now that people are getting out. read more

I've been going to this market for well over 20 years. It's several notches above a typical flea market. This is an antique/flea market lovers dream. It's huge and encompasses 2 very large buildings. I haven't been there in a while, but just writing this makes me want to return. It's open the second weekend in every month. The 2 buildings are fairly close to each other. You drive from one to the next. You pay to park at one, and it covers the price of both lots. You can find interior maps of the markets on their website. It's so big, I recommend the maps. read more

We have framily in Atlanta and always compliment them on the unique pieces of furniture and art they have. We found out they're from Scott's Antique Market and ever since they have been telling us for ages to come up when Scott's is open. After at least three years, we finally made it happen. We didn't look it up beforehand, so we didn't know what to expect. We were overwhelmed by amount of vendors and range of items for sale. We found a katana, oversized print media, a demo set of steel plated cast-iron pans, and amazing wood furniture. There are multiple places to grab a bite or drink - which you'll need because you'll be there a while. A lot of the vendors do shipping around the southeast and the larger ones have an online presence. We saw a guy get arrested and even spotted John Sally - so it's ripe for people watching! I absolutely love going to Scott Antique Markets every month. So many wonderful small business owners selling the best products. I found several beautiful pieces of furniture that are well made and unique. During the summer I always pick up some fresh produce from the vendors there as well. Having 2 huge warehouses full of great products makes for a fun day, or even a fun 4-day shopping trip. Some vendors bring in more items during the weekend and the prices start to go down as Sunday approaches. If you like to support small businesses - this is the place to go!! read more

This place used to be great fun and full of finds now 80% of it is repainted shabby sheek and rugs rugs and more rugs. The outside area used to be the best but today we went and there were only like 5 vendors in this area. We had held off going for the last 6-8 months hoping something would change but decided today that we probably won't go back. It's the same vendors every month and the diversity in product just isn't there. Sad to see this institution fade away. read more

I've visited twice, and I've had very different, yet fun, experiences both times. If you like browsing old furniture, rugs, sterling silver, old maps, china, lamps, quilts, jewelry, architectural salvages pieces, planters for the yard, etc., etc., then you'll love spending some time here. They have two very large facilities about a half a mile apart, and they have charter buses to shuttle customers back and forth. Make sure you wear your comfy walking shoes. Additionally, they normally have plenty of delivery companies on hand for hire that will pick up your item and bring it to your location - for a price, of course! First off this should really be called the Scott Antique and FURNITURE Market. Yes, you can get your hands on some old antiques, mid-century modern pieces, and Indian collectibles but you can find dealers just wheeling out the goods on more of today's farmhouse casual looks that is so popular. The latter was such a surprise to me on my first trip out here. Lots of distressed lamps, tables, lighting, chairs and more. You can do a whole matching room in that Fixer Upper style from Scott's. Also if you are looking for custom furniture makers that offer dining room tables, console tables, etc. then come here and have your choice of makers. They will take orders and next month when the market opens again, your piece is ready for pick up. I'm actually looking at having a kitchen table made using one of these guys. Don't leave too soon, there are 2 buildings divided as the North and South locations, that you need to check out. Free shuttle service runs between the locations, just for your convenience. And be sure to grab some lunch at any of the counters. All the food was good and everyone was eating. My kids even had fun looking for treasures. Several $1 jewelry bins for them to rummage through. So, plan to spend an afternoon here and great thing is is is air conditioned indoors. Smart for the summertime. read more

I LOVE coming to Scott's. Yes, there are many areas that I pass through quickly, but there are also treasures to be found. I have found wonderful custom made chairs here for my living room and sitting area in my bedroom. I have found bar stools that were unique and at a great price. I have bought really cool floor and table lamps. One set was made by a guy that uses old farm implements. I love that I can find things here that are different. I have bought a really cool olive bucket light for my son's room. And side lamps for him that are made with faucet handles. Things I have never seen anywhere else. I have even purchased a large bathroom vanity custom made out of barnwood. You can find wonderful pillows and the most amazing, very high end permanent floral arrangements. I have learned that many of the designers come on Thursday afternoon in order to have the best selection. So this is what I now do. Come with a friend and make it a fun afternoon. Yes, it costs $5 to get it, but if you search on the internet you can always find coupons that make the entrance fee cheaper or free. And the fee is good for all weekend. read more

While there weren't many great deals to be had on the fine antique furniture, silver plated flatware, or pre-Civil War maps, the odds and ends of salvage they had were inspiring. Whether you're looking for old wooden beverage cases (they've got them by the dozen), blue mason jars, or bathtubs fit for the finest geraniums in your yard, Scott Antique Market delivers. While a few vendors accept major credit cards, you'll get a much better deal if you stock up on small bills before you come. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of going on the afternoon of their closing day. Instead of being will to cut special deals to get in one last customer, we found most of the merchants in the North Building more interested in packing up, which was disappointing. However, the South Building, which contains mostly newer, faux-distresed furniture rather than the "fine" stuff, was still going strong right up until the 4pm closing time. And the vendors outside let us keep browsing for an hour after that! Even non-serious antiquers could easily spend a full day here, so plan accordingly. Surprisingly, besides the antiques, the food options here looked equally tempting. A vendor outside was selling farm fresh tomatoes and boiled peanuts, and the stands inside had everything from strawberry cheesecake to lamb gyros, all of which smelled amazing. We had already eaten lunch, but next time, I'll certainly save room for a funnel cake. It's $5 admission per person which includes both buildings, but you can download a coupon off their website for $1, making this a fun and cheap afternoon of entertainment. Holy overwhelmingly in love. I went Saturday and we spent almost the entire day at Scott's, 2 buildings (1 North of 285 - nicer antiques, and 1 South of 285 - more reproductions, junk and flea market-ish and larger outdoor selection). Lots of architectural salvage pieces in the outdoor section of the South Building. The North building held all sorts of fine antiques, jewelry, collectible antique guns, watches, rugs, you name it, it was there! I do not antique on the regular, so I can't tell you how out of line the prices were on real antiques. That said, I saw some new outdoor chairs I liked for $350/each, and then went online thinking I could find them cheaper on amazon. Wrong. Closest thing I found was at Walmart for over $400, so I feel like there are deals to be had on certain items at Scott. Even if you are not interested in buying anything, it was fascinating to see the pieces of furniture, jewelry, rugs, stained glass windows, antique guns, etc. Totally worth it! read more

While this market is a true antique market, make sure to set your expectations properly. There is not an even representation of all types of furniture, rugs, lights, clothing, crafts. Additionally, this is not a place to find a "deal." A shopper here must already have an eye for antiques and unique items to appreciate the wares displayed. This market is only one weekend a month; typically the 2nd weekend of the month. Upon entering the parking lot, an entry fee is taken at $5/person. I don't recommend visiting on Sunday afternoon. Although the hours are until 4pm for Sunday, vendors have already started to pack up and are on their way out. No matter what, it is an interesting experience. read more

The mini donuts were very good; like tiny funnel cakes! Lots of food options if you need a snack or something more. 50% or so of the booths/vendors are fine furniture, rugs, framed art, but there are lots of options both inside and outside to check out. Don't waste your time!! Was only there for about 20-25 minutes, not a typical antique show I'm used to. A lot of rugs, jewelry and new furniture but not much unique primitive items to speak of, just Junk is what I saw, awful show plus not as big as described, outside barely any booths. Don't know what all the hype was about this show. Where were the antiques? If you are looking for old antiques this is not the place. They did have old doors, windows and moldings to repurpose. I don't understand the bad reviews. I have always walked out with something from this place, never empty handed. Then again, I mainly look for jewelry items and I know my eras. I would like to expand my knowledge with antique and vintage housewares so I will have to do my research. Research is definitely key I've learned, so you can discern what is junk and what is valuable. Last time I walked out with purple jade, an antique coral necklace and a turquoise necklace plus several designer vintage piece literally digging through piles of jewelry and junk that had been dumped on tables. So if you really look you will find amazing items, you just have to make sure you're ok getting your hands dirty or bring some gloves. I will return over and over again, that's for sure. read more

AMAZING ....I cannot understand why anybody wouldn't like this place! $5.00 entry fee, more than ample parking and not one but two buildings and tents filled with vendors offering everything from coins, unique furniture, art, creative lighting fixtures, vintage clothing, jewelry, and nearly every manner of nic-nac and bricabrack. The key is bring spending money, take your time and just enjoy finding that one and only thingamagig or signature piece. The vendor "Porcelain Smith Restoration" services owned by Paul & Carole Smith - I was disgusted and angry what they did to my expensive collection of crystal. They wiped out the "Steuben" authenticity signature on three pieces. Mr. Smith cracked the bottom (a fisher as he refers) to a large expensive Steuben bowl when the issue was to remove a scratch that was never removed. He destroyed the base of a Val St. Lambert candle stick making it cloudy, the color blue and a dull finish. He should be out of business. It's a scam. He has no experience. He makes you pay in advance and is not bonded in the event he damages your valuables. I had a bad gut feeling about he and his wife at our initial meeting when he said he would not cover damages. It is really sad to see what used to be the best antique show in United States turn into Such a hodgepodge of new and old merchandise. Scott show, used to draw the best dealers in from the east and central part of the United States, which were what we call hard-core antique dealers. I feel ripped off and insulted by this place. First, you have to pay to park and get in. That's $5. Then when you actually get in expecting an antique market, what you instead find is 80% new stuff, and lots of arts and crafts. This is NOT an antique market. It's part flea market meets mall kiosk junk. This problem was not isolated to just one part of the expo center. Both the north and south were full of people selling new things, new furniture, new jewelry, and every other thing. Overall a complete waste of time and money. read more

I made my first trip out to the Scott Antique Market this past weekend. It was surprisingly fascinating if not a bit overwhelming as well. There are hundreds and hundreds of dealers. I was on a quest to find some cheap mid-century modern pieces for my home. About 99% of the dealers sell more of the country kitchen/grandma frou-frou type of antiques. I like some of that stuff but it's more fitting for craftsmen and Victorian homes. There were a few dealers with mid-century modern goods, but it was top notch stuff and in good shape. And I can't afford the price tag for that stuff. There are also a lot of costume jewelry dealers as well. If I wore jewelry more often I could see myself spending a pretty penny on a bunch of sparkly things. What was probably the most fascinating was all of the old bathtubs, sinks, stained glass, and old door accessories in the outdoor portion of the market. It's a half-day commitment, but can definitely be worthwhile. My wife and I have shopped here several times -- sometimes buying, sometimes walking out empty handed, but almost always finding something to admire. There are two huge buildings (one on each side of the highway), outside vendors, and an overwhelming out of stuff that you need to sift through. Some vendors are super-friendly, helpful and courteous; some others are not as much so. Regardless, you can find some great deals if you know what you're looking for or looking at. If not, do beware as there are also a lot of non-antiques and many newer items that are purposely designed to look aged. You can get taken advantage of if you don't know the difference. It is the biggest, most eclectic, and constantly refreshed antique show I've ever seen. It's definitely worth attending at least once, but beware you might get hooked! Also, bring cash or check as not all vendors accept credit cards. Finally, it does cost $5 per person (not per vehicle) to enter the parking lot; however, make sure to keep your tickets as they will get you into the other parking lot if you drive over the highway to check out the second building. If you don't want to drive, there is a shuttle bus that runs back and forth throughout the day. read more

Went there on Friday and was surprised to hear two vendors complaining about how no one was buying. It turned me off! Items seem to be overpriced. Some decoration items are cheaper at Marshalls or TJ Maxx. As for the $1 off coupon on their website, it needs to be filled out with your personal info. name, address, and e-mail. In search of midcentury modern furniture (specifically end tables), we set out for Scott with our designer. Lucky for us, she's a pro, so she had a plan. Also lucky for us, there's not that much midcentury modern stuff here, so we could breeze past most of the booths. There's an outside space on the north side of the north building that had quite a few midcentury modern pieces in varying condition. Unfortunately for us, most of the good stuff was already sold, and what was left needed enough work that the good prices weren't so good. Even though there weren't many midcentury modern items, we were still there for 2.5 hours. There is a LOT of stuff here - furniture, dishes, jewelry, furs, decorative prints, lamps, rugs, and more. There are also some food stands to provide sustenance for the long walk through the aisles. Most of it smelled deliciously fried, but I did pass one case with a long line that was full of various kinds of cold salads drenched in sauce. The South building is less well-organized, and has a lot more new furniture. If you like what you see, but you want something specific, the designers have brochures so that you can work with them to get what you want custom built. It also has a lot more outdoor space, including a garden center with items for outdoor rooms and decoration. It's $5 to get in to the gates, but that's good for entry to both buildings. When we pulled up, we were told that there was no more parking, so they were going to let us park just outside the gates and walk in for free, until they saw that we had a baby. Scott Antiques market is such an experience. There are two gigantic buildings full of antiques, vintage items, and home decor. Wear comfy shoes, because you'll want to walk up and down every aisle. It costs $5 to park (your ticket is good for both buildings), and you can use the same ticket for the entire weekend. Building 2 is my favorite building as it has a more eclectic array of items as well as an outdoor section that's a little bit more like a nice flea market. My sister used to work at one of the booths at this market, and she tipped me off about the concession stand. It's a little pricey (for a concession stand), but the food is actually really good. Make sure you go to one of the spots that has more than just hot dogs. I got a gyro last time I was there, and I was not disappointed. I also got a brownie, and it was so big I had to eat it in installments. Sometimes there aren't any real steals or deals at Scott Antiques Market, but it's a fun thing to do on a weekend.
