I was looking for some 1950's items for a Internet video production and found six perfect items for a fantastic price.

However, what makes My Favorite Place different is that they are more flea market than consignment/antique store, and this is something that they fully embrace and own! We have popped into My Favorite Place a couple of times over the years in search of things we never knew we needed. MFP is a treasure trove of used items ranging from trinkets to furniture that are stacked from wall to wall and floor to ceiling, they even have pieces outside lining the sidewalk. To go back to the "flea market" comment, that is truly what the items here are. The store feels like one big yard sale with majority of the items simply being used and old, not really antiques or collectibles. Due to this and the way things are stacked and shelved, a lot of items are pretty beat up. They have a solid selection of furniture pieces, but again they are chipped and worn. If you are after furniture and plan to finish it yourself, then MFP is a solid option for you! Prices are fair and decent for everything in here, even the furniture. The pricing reflects the condition, so again if you are a DIY-er, then you can really find some great deals and good pieces here. Overall, My Favorite Place is a combination of over and underwhelming. Overwhelming in the way of volume of items, haphazard organization and stocking and underwhelming in the condition of items. We pop in when we are in the area, but would not go out of our way to drop by here.

For those with disabilities, this store has a long ramp up to the front doors and an elevator in the back of the store. Next up, unlike most thrift stores I've been in, the store smells clean. The merchandise is organized but, as with many thrifts, it takes a bit to figure out the layout. If you are mourning the loss of Goodwill merchandise to the Goodwill ecommerce store, swing by this place and check it out. The selection is insanely good. The persons working the registers were fast and friendly. The prices were a mixed bag. I picked up 3 books each for $2-3 but I suspect that they were priced so low because they came in a long time ago. There were other books I saw prices around 4-5. And still others were $30... but I'm not into those genres and couldn't say what their value was. Everything I looked at was reasonably price but I'm also usually looking for art supplies, books, and music instruments.

It started as a cute date night but once we went, it just makes sense. It is $10 per person to get in compared to the big names that are charging $25+. Next , the concession stand is reasonably priced $10 for a large popcorn. The overall experience is fun because you could literally bring a whole pizza if you want to. People respect the turning off headlights policy and it's never packed out unless it is valentines day. They get the new releases and the website is always current. On my visit today they were out of Large popcorn containers... no big deal. However, the line was not efficient. For the bulk of my wait there was one person running the whole thing. Once I made it to the register, the POS went down and had to be completely rebooted. Once I was able to pay, I had to wait at LEAST 20min to get my popcorn. I missed the previews and I had to ask my husband to go back once the movie started to get the popcorn. Apparently people still waiting were getting vocally frustrated. I really enjoy the drive-in but I recommend getting there with extra time if you plan on buying snacks.

You get to see two movies one Friday at 8:30 and the other start at 10:30. The movie that played were great movies. I have never been to the drive-in movie theater and this experience is what I was looking forward to. They had a concession stand, but we didn't use it as we had our own food, but the vibe was amazing. Stay in your own vehicle and just put your feet up. Please turn your lights off when you go to the movie theater so we all can see the screen. I highly recommend trying this place.

It's a bit of a haul from Atlanta so I got up early one weekend and made the hour drive over to La Vaquita. While I'll say, I enjoyed my trip, I don't know if I absolutely loved it or would tell people to run here. Parking was easy to navigate through and I got a spot easily. Now, inside (and outside) really has everything, BUT I will say, this is a flea market in every sense of the word. It has a lot of junk, I mean that in the best (and I suppose, worst) way. I just didn't find the majority of the items that were being sold to be the best quality or really be anything I needed or wanted to buy. The highlight here is the food. Whether it's the large food court or the random stands that are throughout the flea market. You should by no means leave here hungry or thirsty. I think this is a great place if you want knock-off items such as labubus and things like that, but if you're looking for quality materials/goods, I would not pick them up here.

Be mindful that some of the vendors both in the market and the food courts don't all accept credit cards so be sure to have cash on hand! There is also a farmers market with fresh produce in one of the buildings.

You know you have arrived once you see the large blue sign and metal awning hovering around and over the front doors. This place is overwhelming with the amount of items they have from entry to exit, so brace yourselves! I would say 50% of their stock is tchotchke based with a lot of glass cases holding things from bobble heads to cards to small figurines, etc...They also have a lot of artwork and signage strewn throughout with pockets of furniture, clothing, lamps and even a corner dedicated to retro hardware. I do feel that they have a lot more small, dated items than true antiques. Don't get me wrong, they have a large variety of unique items - but it is definitely a healthy mix of antique and flea market finds. The staff was very nice as we were greeted shortly after entering and were checked up on throughout our journey. Even when we left empty handed, they made sure to thank us for coming by and welcomed us back. Overall, Chamblee Antiques & Interiors has a lot to offer to the right person. While we didn't find anything we were looking for this time around, we will swing back through on our next trip down "antique row" in Chamblee.

We like to wander around consignment shops and this area of Chamblee Dunwoody, they are plentiful. So, when we make our trip over this way Simple Finds is always on the list to swing by. We are usually after unique furniture items, and on their good days, Simple Finds has a decent selection from small tables to large cabinets, etc...Outside of the furniture, there is not a lot of items that are eye catching for us here. Service is hit and miss here, never terrible, but also not what I would describe as "friendly" either. Additionally, pricing here is a bit inflated. I get the whole "one persons trash is another persons treasure", but come on... Overall, Simple Finds is a random weekend stop for us on occasion. I will say that visiting here is like visiting a massive neighborhood yard sale, so you get lucky from time to time, but for the most part...it is just a place to browse for us.
