I pulled into the dealership and parked on the west side of the building and walked into the lobby to ask where the service department was located as I had never gotten service there before. The man at the desk pointed and said "Down the hall." There was no greeting or anything. I walked to the service window and told the man where I parked. He handed my keys back and said "How about pull your car to this side of the building and I'll start your paperwork." Not a big deal but kinda lazy and poor customer service. After I complied, I walked back in and attempted to check in again. He asked if I had purchased the car there and I said no. He then asked if I had ever had any service there and I said no. He exhaled heavily and said ok let's put you in the system as if it was quite the task. The reason I gave 2 stars is because I didn't have to wait but 45 mins and I wasn't asked for additional services which was awesome. During the wait I received 2 text messages that I didn't authorize about trading in my car and telling me they are working on my vehicle. All ok up to this point...I had a coupon for a $29.99 synthetic oil change up to 5 quarts. The total came to over $83. I told the cashier about the issue and she said she could not make changes and sent me back to the service window. He asked to see the coupon and I showed him and he said ok great so you owe for the oil change and one additional quart of oil. I anticipated shenanigans because of the low customer service rating at this dealership. I googled the amount of oil required for my vehicle's oil change ahead of time and it was 4.8 quarts. I told him this and he said, "oh it's not the turbo?" I said no. I then asked if they put 6 quarts in and he said no they go on a metric which makes no sense. Basically...they were attempting to charge me more than the coupon, an additional quart of oil that I didn't receive, and I paid in cash or I would have had to pay a 3% fee for using a credit card as well. The waiting area was dirty, ripped chairs, bad smells, ceiling tiles hanging from the ceiling, and disgusting walls. It was worth the visit to save $50 but be prepared. I called a sales person as I am 3 hours away and verified the price and I was told that there was just a 699 dealerfee on top. They wouldn't give me a written walk out the door price until I filled out a credit app. Red flag! When I finally got the written quote. They raised the price of the car by $4,000 and added many other fees to the tune of additional $1300 on top of the 699 dealer fee. I was pretty frustrated that they wasted my time like they did. My cars differential broke and this is the quote that this place gave me. $9000 flat. I have a live dashcam inside the car and I could see the inside and outside of the car while it stayed here. I also get a live notification when someone touches or comes close to the car. While my car was here, the car was never put on a lift, it stayed in the grass the entire time, they smoked inside and outside of the car with the doors open. they also left dirt all over the interior driver door. They never actually looked at the cars issues and assumed the complete rear end needed to be replaced. There is no way to know if I payed 9k for service that they would've actually replace all of the parts they listed. This place is a scam, STAY AWAY! I was able to purchase a brand new rear differential online for $885 and I am putting it in by myself this weekend. To do this I am removing the rear exhaust, unbolting the 6-7 rear driveshaft bolts, then removing the 4 bolts holding in the rear diff. Then put it back together in reverse order and add 75w-80 oil in the diff. The job should only take me 3 hours. The quote should've been $1200-1500 not $9000. My initial experience with Scott Evans was ok, I thought. However, their finance person, Rodney, snuck in a $5,000 warranty into the purchase of my vehicle. While I take some responsibility for signing, I had a friend with me who attests to the fact that this was not disclosed - I'd like to think that I would remember a $5,000 addition to my final price. I was told I would get a second key and expected it when the car was purchased. I never received it and upon calling back, was told that "if" there was a second key, they would send it. I'm a loyal Dodge-Ram customer, took my Ram 2500 in for service (oil, fuel filter and brake change) technician forgot to put oil back in truck before taking it on a test drive and blew the engine. I was called by the service manager who expressed regret for the incident assuring me "they would make it right". I guess we have different understanding of what make it right means. I have been without my truck for a month now. They offered to buy the truck for 5k less than value, but if i bought a new one from them they would match the valuation. However when i mentioned the Affiliate Rewards program they were quick to say they would not participate. This is clearly an attempt by the dealership to reduce the cost of their mistake and pass along the burden to a loyal Ram customer. We were assured that the used Jeep we were purchasing did not have any issues.Before we commented to buying this vehicle we noticed that the muffler was making a loud noise and was assured by our salesman that it would be fixed, we left the car there for two days and we were told it was an aftermarket muffler and not to worry. We found out less then a month later the real issue was a broken motor mount. Scott Evans did fix the motor mount after charging me over $300.00 less then having this vehicle for a month, and this vehicle cost us over $12,000.00 Our second mistake, we trusted Scott Evens to do the right thing and to take care of there customers, but unfortunately we were wrong. I've talked to several people that has had a buying experience with Scott Evans and most are similar stories to mine. I just can't believe how we were lied to by our salesman about this vehicle. I will never buy again from Scott Evans. I hope whoever reads this passes this information to the right person at Scott Evans but from what I've heard from other customers, nothing will be done about my issue because nothing was done for them. On Oct 1st 2023, with only having the auto less then two months that we paid over $12,000.00 for, we were forced to trade due to all of the mechical issues with the auto we purchased from evans. Deloris Their service department isn't very professional nor are they very knowledgeable their jeeps. I took my Jeep there because it was running warm on the highway. Around town it was driving perfect the service department advised me to leave it and they would check it out and give me a call. I had to call several times during the day to find out if they knew what was causing my jeep to run close to hot they explained that everything looked fine and they did not really know what was wrong, but they would keep it overnight and let me know in the morning what was wrong, I received a call the next morning and was told they would have to take the engine apart for about $1200 for labor and they would let me know what the issue was. My husband advised them we would come get the jeep and not to work on it , we arrived 15 minutes later to pick up my jeep. As I drove out of the parking lot, my jeep was running hot because something had been done to it. I asked the service department what happened and they said it was going to happen anyway, I was able to drive my car around town without a problem it was only on the highway. I was having an issue, they were very rude when I explain to them that the jeep was not running like this when I dropped it off once I left I contacted the manager of Scott Evan and spoke to John and explain to him how very unhappy I was I paid $175 for my car to run worse and still did not get fixed or Know what the reason for the cars was. John said that he was speak with his service manager and call me back in 15 minutes. I never heard back from any of them. I called back two hours later and asked to speak to John and was told he was unavailable. I left a voice message and never received a call back , it is now 10 hours later and I never received a call back I was told that this dealer was family owned, and it was not a corporate dealership. I would suggest no one ever ever buy a jeep or take their car to get service there. Do in my conversation. When I realize my jeep was tampered with I asked the young man that was working on it. What did he do? He was very rude disrespectful and didn't understand why I would be upset since my jeep was now running worse than it was when I brought it in. I was asked by the manager what can he do to help? I advise I would like to have my jeep fixed and running so I can go to work in Atlanta. He asked how many miles I had and maybe I should buy a new Jeep. SERVICE DEPT REVIEW: This is a VERY short synopsis of my experience. I took my '21 vehicle, purchased new from Scott Evans, in for an oil change, tire rotation and oil leak. Supposedly the leak was fixed. Got it home and it still leaked. Ryan said "it could just be residual oil". 1) it leaked enough to get the drops on a short video, which the tech would have noticed if he'd checked his work 2) do their techs not clean the area they work on so "residual" isn't a thing? Took the car back in. They had to drop the transmission to fix the leak. Told the car was ready, drove it in the parking lot only to find the AC no longer worked. Got the runaround on why the AC wasn't working, but when it was finally fixed after them having to order a new AC line from the manufacturer, it was stated something must have been "moved" when they did the oil leak work and had to drop the transmission. Like I said, this is a synopsis only. This entire experience of getting the run around and the lack of communication was horrid. Take your vehicle anywhere else. read more

Took it in and they created a list of things like motor mount broken and needed to be changed, my rotors and break pads were bad and needed repair, and my tie rods were rusted and could not do an alignment. I am glad that I had a full service prior to my trip and none of those thing came up. So when I returned from my trip of course I took it to my Chrysler Jeep dealership and got a clean bill of health for my Jeep. WOMEN BEWARE: MISOGYNISTIC at its finest. I am a 24 years old girl that came in on my own to simply get a tire rotation. After being ignored for almost two hours as multiple other MALE customers walked in to have their cars serviced (in and out within 30 mins a piece having similar work done), I finally asked when my car would be worked on. The service manager assured me in an extremely condescending way that my car would be up soon. After 3 hours had passed they finally came back saying they had it in their care... to find out that just about everything else was "wrong" with my car. I had trusted these people in telling them I was planning to move this weekend, and they took this as an opportunity to take advantage of me. My jeep has driven fine since I've bought it- it's not perfect, it has a lot of miles on it for only being a 2014, but it runs fine. They told me my car was unsafe to drive and that I wouldn't make it to my destination without breaking down on the side of the road. They listed out a bunch of problems, but I was honest with them in saying I didn't really understand what they were talking about and would prefer to just get the tire rotation and talk to my dad first before anything else. They then proceeded to tell me I needed to trade in my car "immediately"... the service manager took me to the dealers and two men (the main dealers) stood over me, blocking me in their cubicle, harassing me to buy a car that day. When I said "I really need to talk to my dad" the general manager asked why I needed him there if the car was in my name. He then continued to push that I should just buy the car without him, stating "Why do you need your dad if I can get you $0 down today?". This HARASSMENT continued until finally I stood my ground and said I wanted to go home and I wanted to know if my car was safe enough to drive home since they had scared me so badly earlier. Apparently my car was perfectly safe to drive home. I overheard the service crew talking about me in the back as if I was an idiot. After FOUR HOURS, my car was returned to me but they had mentioned the lug nuts were messed up by "the last mechanics who touched the tires." At the time they didn't know THEY were the last people who touched my tires. I refused to pay the $250 they wanted to charge me for lug nuts since this was their mistake, and their shitty work they were talking about. 4.5 hours in total, I finally was able to leave . These men are misogynistic assholes. They talk down to women. They took advantage of a situation to try and make a sale. I can't imagine how many times they have done this to other women. It's been a crazy two weeks. A tree fell on my brand new house as we were moving in, and additionally it destroyed BOTH of my cars. We got rentals through our insurance, but not for a long time and we still needed to move. hence the need to get a new car, and it underscored the need to get one quickly. That's what made our experience at scott evans even more terrible than it was. I spoke with latrice about the nissan altima and since I live in columbus, Georgia, we scheduled a meeting the following day. She assured me she still had the vehicle and would let me know if anyone was interested so I wouldn't have to waste my time driving out to look at a car that wasn't there. So my wife drove up the following day and when she got there, the car was sold. Strike one. Not only did Latrice not let me know someone else was interested, she didn't tell me the car was gone. additionally, she scheduled a meeting on her day off, so her phone was off. Strike two. then she failed to hand off any information on our interests so when my wife arrived, no one was ready to help her and the sales rep who eventually helped her, didn't have a file on us. Strike three Then he says he wants to earn our business so he promises to get us a good deal. my wife gave him a very specific range. since we are in need of replacing two cars as well as repair a house we have owned for less than two weeks, we have a very limited range of what we are comfortable spending. So he shows her a car, but all attempts to ask the price of the vehicle were met with evasiveness. He wouldn't give her a price and she was pretty certain the car was out of our price range. He promised to get a price and make it a good one, but after an hour and a half of nothing, she left. So not only did we not get a vehicle, we lost a day. a day we could have been looking at cars in our price range. a day we could have been moving into our house. a day we could have been working with our insurance adjuster trying to get our house fixed. or even a day not dealing with someone who just wouldn't be honest. We ended up buying a car. One of the easiest experiences I've had, too. The dealer gave me the price up front, and then gave me a fair estimate of what the price would be with tax title and tag. We ended up buying the car because my son loved it. We wrote a check for it, and they promised to send the second key when the check cleared. They sent a key about 2 months later, and it did not work. They stated in writing they would reimburse us to have the key reprogrammed. But when the time came, no payment. No one would ever return my phone calls. I called relentlessly, everyday, multiple times a day. We finally received partial payment, but they still owe us $150. There has been countless sales calls, emails, and postal service advertisements making false promises to get my attention only to be let down upon arrival. When questioned about the false promises I was told they were only doing their job to lure in business. I don't know about you guys but if you lose my trust before entering the down everything else seems dishonest no matter how true it may be. I give this place an A+ for effort, but can not fathom a grade low enough to express my frustration with their honesty. I was asked to sign a promissory note agreeing to purchase a vehicle based only on the monthly payments. When I refused the salesman was agitated and made a smart remark about how it wasn't going to kill me to sign it. When I informed the sales person of the promise made to me over the phone he laughed. He then told me that he wasn't trying to call me dumb but I need to be realistic and not believe everything I hear. I told him it was his Internet department that gave me this false promise and he said that's why he doesn't like that department. I have reached out to the owner to get a little more clarity on this matter and I am waiting on a response. I traded in a very nice 2014 Chevy Silverado with 45K miles on it, the "gave" me 4K more than my payoff on the chevy, and about 4-5K discounts on the price of the Ram. so I figure it's a win situation, well NO NOT AT ALL ! fast forward 4 months to Febuary 2018 , I've made 4 payments now, and wanted to see what book value is on my Truck. over the last couple months I have been calling them, talking to my salesman, then a couple sales managers, and the sales manger ells me this " I will call you back in 2 minutes" and just never calls back at all, none of them will call me back and talk to me about the value of my truck. OK so I go ahead and search the value myself, I thought I would be doing ok as I have only put 00683 , yes that's 683, six hundred eighty three miles on the truck total, it had 30-40 I think when I took it for a test drive. so the best I can come up with is KBB value at great shape personal sale, 25,8 to 28,3 with a 27,0 average. and trade in dealer at 22,5 to 24,6 with an 23,5 average trade in at the dealer, I owe 29,250 on if anyone wants to buy it, it will sit there until it sells with no miles put on it. that is very sad I don't know if its the dealer or the brand but this will be the last dodge I will ever touch read more

I have decent credit but the cars were outdated and they gave me a "new" sales guy, who tried to put me in something #1 I did NOT like, #2 a deal that was not worth my time and #3 a down grade from what I was currently driving for a ridiculous car payment. I left that day without a vehicle. They, Joseph the "new" sales guy and Bruce his supervisor, later that same week contacted me about a vehicle that came in. We ended up negotiating a good deal and price for the vehicle. 2017, Nissan Versa, 40,000 miles. I was good with condition and payment, even with the poor cleaning job they had done. My issue comes less than a week later, I tried texting, calling and leaving messages for both Sales ppl, Bruce and Joseph bc I now had a "cracked tire" in less than a week. The tire was in poor condition and they wouldn't return my calls. Finally the guy who signed my deal told me to bring it in and they'd take care of it. Husband gets there and they WOULD NOT fix the tire nor replace it without $100. WTH!!! There was no wear and tear nor nail in the tire, so it was obviously a poor/poorly stored tired, that they should've accommodated since it was less than 1 week of a sale. They DID NOT honor or replace it. I will NOT refer business to this location and I am so disappointed in the way this turned out. Yes, I walked away with a good priced vehicle but I will NEVER do business with them again! I'm scared of what might be revealed driving this car in the future. read more
