New solo homeowner (a year ago) and realize I've been watering weeds, can't see because there's a giant tree blocking my line of sight out of my driveway, and could really use some recommendations for an overall yard lift. Scott was great! I had a couple large branches down from a storm and wanted them cleared out of my yard. Determined that it would be better to remove one of the trees entirely. He came right out one afternoon, gave me a good estimate (best price for sure), and did the work right then and there. Very knowledgeable, yard was left clean (I got a couple piles of firewood for the fireplace), and I even got a bit of advice on one of the remaining silver maples in my yard. I've used Scott on several occasions, and have always been very pleased with his work and super-responsiveness. On two occasions, after major storms blew through Middleton, I had significant tree damage. I called a number of companies in the Madison area - most said "Unless it's an emergency and the tree has fallen on your property, we're about 6 weeks out..." or words to that effect. Top-notch performance from initial contact through cleaning up the last twig. Needed significant trimming of an 80 ft silver maple and a couple 70 ft black locusts. It was a full day's job but the trimming was perfect and the cleanup was thorough. Highly recommend Scott. read more
