Justin Lacy with Texas Farm Bureau Insurance is by far the worst agent, and person I've ever dealt…read morewith in the insurance business. He told me he didn't make much money off me and that is was best I just went and got insurance elsewhere. So that's what I tried to do. I called another Texas Farm Bureau Insurance agent and Justin had marked it in their computer system for the underwriter to not write me another policy. All because he has a personal vendetta against me. I did nothing wrong, I voiced my opinion about his lack of services, rude office staff and that I didn't appreciate how he treated me. He's now made it where Texas Farm Bureau Insurance company can not even make money off me. The worst experience I've ever had. Avoid Just Lacy at all cost. Do not waste your time.

I have not been pleased with my auto or home owners insurance companies. I thought the auto…read moreinsurance was high and I had to fight my home owners insurance after hail damage to our roof. We finally won against them and they paid to replace the entire roof but what a nightmare. The old company was Universal of North America...do not use them. I went online to J.D. Power, who rates national insurance companies, and noticed that Texas Farm Bureau had consistently been at the number one spot for several years. I contact their Katy office and spoke to agent Alan Inman, no relationship to me at all, and was very pleased. He cut my auto insurance premium in half for the same coverage and saved me about $1000/year on my home owners. He took the time to actually meet with me face to face and explained everything to my satisfaction. He has been very prompt in getting me copies of my documentation. I would recommend this company and agent to mother, in fact i have. Good job Texas Farm Bureau!

I have just cancelled our policies that we did through Wilker insurance. I shopped my own rates and…read morefound that Progressive was able to offer savings of nearly $1300 for the year with the exact same coverage. They responded when I found this and said they could only do a 6 month policy and we'd be left without umbrella insurance. As it turns out, we had no issue getting an umbrella policy which they claimed they'd be unable to provide. They also quoted less coverage for homeowner's at a higher cost to us instead of trying to get us the best rate and savings of over $500 on the premium by flipping the name of the primary insured. My biggest concern is that they had us drastically under insured for years according to every single insurance rate calculator as far as replacement cost and I assume only calculated builder grade replacement value which would not be adequate to replace our fully remodeled house with all updated plumbing, electrical, roof, kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, cabinetry, etc. Tom Wilker and his team's incompetence and failure to make proper adjustments to the replacement cost could have cost us a fortune in a disaster and has apparently been costing us thousands because they didn't provide us with the best options. I'm sure they provided the options that padded their pockets instead of protecting us. On top of that, there is nobody that I've ever worked with that is ruder than Tom Wilker. He's insulting and condescending and his response is that everyone else is "scamming" or doesn't want the business. The only thing worse than someone in sales that is rude is someone that is rude, negligent and incompetent. Take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of insurance agents out there that are willing to take a few minutes to get you the best rates and protect you and your family. Don't settle for rude, negligent and incompetent.

Tom Wilker and Denise are terrible. I have always had issues getting responses from Tom. Denise…read morewould sometimes help, butbitbwouod take several attempts to make it correct. This week I sent Tom an email about my policy. I never received a response so I sent another email several days later. The email was kicked back and undeliverable. I emailed Denise and received this response:. "If this is regarding your auto policy you will need to contact Farmers directly at 888-Farmers.  We are no longer your agent.". Well, according to the app and the website and the customer service, he was still my agent. I have since requested someone new. Avoid this terrible agent at all cost!

VETERANS BEWARE OF GEICO!!…read more Today Geico sends a txt saying they're raising my rate from 442.00 a month to 1150.00 per month ( coverage for my wife, son and I on two vehicles- one is paid off, one is financed with GM). I called them and they had my 24 year old college student ( on deans list) as driving with a permit which he has not since he was 19. They updated his info and then it went to 1800.00 a month!! I laughed. I then asked if they remove me from the policy as I am a disabled Veteran and don't drive any longer ( I'm the only one in the family that had several fender benders causing the rate to go up). Get this! The agent says well you will have to surrender your license to the motor vehicle division, then provide proof. He actually said that. Just to entertain his comment and not surrendering my identification to anyone) I said ok I'll do it Monday. He stumbled then said well it won't make a difference in the new rate. Keep in mind my son and wife have never had an accident or moving violation EVER. I do not need to surrender my DL. If they were concerned of me driving and got into an accident it simply wouldn't be covered by them. Period!! What a crock. They claim they support vets. Then I told them we definitely would not be renewing our policy. If I did I won't drive period. ( like I said don't need to drive at all wife can) they said I couldn't do that I said watch me. They said I would have to surrender my drivers license to DMV and provide them a copy of it. I said maybe with Geico but you're on notice I'm shopping this first thing tomorrow and if I have to not drive for a year or so until one of them is over 3 years old so be it. They then said well i let's see what we can do. Raised all the deductibles and bare minimum coverage treating me like it was Christmas said 887.50 a month. I said have a great rest of your day. Any advice here? Obviously going to shop and adjust to whatever. We got a new quote from State Farm for within 50.00 of our policy with Gecko..I didn't spell it wrong there colors change with the climate..
