I wrote a review a couple years ago praising Cypress Insurance agency. I was dead wrong about the company. Last year they dropped the ball, they could have had my business for my Lubbock home as well. I kept asking the for a quote, begging really. Day of closing I had to find another company to insure the home. The office manager, Lilly, is so disrespectful and rude. I was looking for another insurance company to switch my policies over. Nope, can not, the , insurance has gotten so out of hand on what they will cover and not. So by default I have to stay with Cypress Insurance. And the same office manager is still working for the company. I told her this year through email that I was looking for another insurance company, because of the experience I had with her last year. Her response "I'm sorry you feel that way, I will take you off of our list to reach out to with new quotes." Oh my gosh! Terrible business practice! I received an estimate for homeowners insurance in the mail giving estimates of 592 to 805$. I called and went through the interview. My house has some items that render mostly impervious to disasters, so I expected my rates to be reasonable and the estimates were in line with my thinking. My quote was MORE THAN TRIPLE the estimated low rate. This is a deceptive practice and based on this, would say to STAY AWAY from this group. Good Luck read more

Terrible customer service. They make mistakes on your policy and then refuse to change it. They do not communicate very well among the staff and have excuses for all their problems. read more

I had several insurance policies come up for annual renewal and she shopped around and found the best possible coverage/premiums. Not very responsive! Tell you they will take care of issues and don't! You find out when you are contacted by insurance company that nothing has been done. I've left emails, messages. Always the same spill. I'll pass it on to your agent team. When in fact it was the very person who set it up for you that tells you he'll pass it on. The person answering the phones tells you they will pass it to the agent. Back and forth. read more

I wish there was a option for NO STARS!! I received a flyer in the mail for an insurance quote. I called this morning and was put on hold for 5 minutes - sales team was in a meeting and would have to call me back. I received a call back from a rep an hour later. He began with some questions - a couple questions that I felt were irrelevant - he cut me off and said he needed the info. I then asked about coverage amounts and he told me that I did not have a choice - he "would give me what he came back with and I could make a decision with those numbers!" Sooooo...I told him "No thanks! I will just go with someone else and wait for another firm I had called." I did not appreciate being dismissed or spoken down to in the manner in which he handled my call. 2 hours later I checked my email - this dude still quoted me even though I asked him NOT to quote me. (Insurance runs a soft credit hit when you get a quote.) I called the office to speak to the agent but I would only be allowed to speak to the office manager, who needed to know my name and the reason for my call, after stating the reason for my call with the rep that answered. Seeing that I could not get past the "red tape", I will just take it up the chain of command. Customer service is key. Most importantly - No still means no!! read more

To be honest, I unintentionally called CIT thinking they were an insurance providing company (not an agent), and I am glad I did this by mistake. I worked with one of the CIT reps named Colt, and he was exceptional in providing me top service. He listened to exactly what I was wanting to gain from auto and home insurance, and aligned that directly with the top providing insurance company's across the nation to make sure I was receiving exactly what I needed. Even after providing me with my initial requested quote, he provided additional quotes when I asked so that I could compare costs myself instead of just taking his word, and he was spot on providing truthful and accurate information! Colt and CIT was also extremely responsive, usually responding to any email and/or phone call within 15 minutes or less multiple times throughout the day. I am excited to work with CIT, and looking forward to a trusting and mutual relationship with them. read more

Tried several different times to get quotes for my home and auto insurance, nothing they will not call me back or send quotes. I talked with a lady about my homeowners insurance, she took my info and said she would get back with me after lunch, this was Monday. Never heard from them, so I called Wednesday and was told said lady was in a meeting and would call me back, sill nothing. If this is the kind of service you get when your trying to become a client, I can only imagine what kind of customer service their clients get. read more
