My dental health has been in the hands of Dr. Brooks for several years now and I am a very happy client. I have a gum issue with a capped tooth and I can say it's in better health right now than it has been for years. My husband goes here as well as I wouldn't let him stay with a previous dentist that was all about their bottom line regardless of what is in the best interest of the patient. I went in and was warmly greeted by the woman at the front desk. I told her I wasn't sure about my insurance coverage, so would just pay cash for the visit. She said why not let her give it a try to see if insurance would cover, so I gave her my insurance card. Within minutes I was taken to a chair, and seen right away. I know the tooth is in bad shape, so was half expecting the dentist to say it couldn't be easily reattached. He examined it closely, cleaned the old adhesive from the crown and my tooth. He got in there, bing, bang, boom and the crown was back on fitting just perfectly. When I went back out front, the woman at the front desk (I wish I could remember her name) said the insurance covered it! Dr. Euler and his staff are down to earth, and take care of business, no messing around. If I lived in St. Joe, or anywhere close, this is the only dentist I'd see. Although my experience was a couple years ago I wanted to drop my recommendation for this practice…read more I had a money hungry dentist in another state tell me I needed a crown on a tooth I never had a problem with and went ahead and trusted he knew what he was talking about and had it crowned. Worst decision. Fast forward I always get food stuck in between that and the tooth beside it since it's not smooth. So my new dentist here in MO has worked on the tooth beside it bunch due to cavities and messed up the crown adjacent then told me we needed to pull it. That ticked me off because here I am looking at pulling a tooth I have never had an issue with AND it's slowly killing the one next to it too. I said no I wanted a second opinion and he sent me here. I told the doc my story and he said he would do his best to save it even though he thought the tooth had less than a 50% chance of succeeding but I wanted to try. It was a long appointment and he had some challenges but I was comfortable throughout the procedure and 3 years later I still have my tooth. I don't have the same problems getting food stuck alongside the crown anymore either which has bought some time for the tooth next to it as well. If I ever have to have any more detailed work done in my mouth I expect to return to this practice in St Joe. They are a good one!

I thought it was time to quit driving 2 hours to my old dentist in Omaha. I was wrong. I had seen…read moremy previous dentist for 10 years and no issues in the previous 6 month check up. I went here and was told I needed extensive work, to the tune of thousands of dollars. I could even get the in office credit card if needed. I was shocked that my teeth had deteriorated so much. So much so that I contacted my trusted dentist and told him what was found. He couldn't believe it either and asked to have the x-rays sent to him. He saw nothing. Just a few teeth that he has said he is "keeping an eye on" for years. I have been back for several more check ups and still nothing. My advice would be to have a second opinion before beginning an expensive plan. I still would rather drive to my Omaha dentist for honest, friendly service.

He is such a great person and his chair side manner is outstanding. I went in thinking I needed dentures but Dr. Brownberger was honest and said I only needed partials. He said he could sell me dentures but that isn't why he does what he does. Dentures would have been way more expensive but he wanted to help me not rob me! And He was so honest and his staff is phenomena. I don't hate my dentist appointments any more and neither should you. Tell him your fears or any apprehensions you have, He will take care of it.

This is just in case I provided them with bogus insurance information....which I did not. Well fast forward 3 months and I never got my refund and the FSA company that I used to pay the bill is rejecting it because they tell me that I was over charged and to contact the dentist office. Well now I can't get them to answer the phone to explain to me what's going on. Every time I call, the phone just rings and rings and then an automated voice asks me to enter my remote access code. No prompt to leave a message or anything. What the heck are they doing over there? Pretty sure I am never going back there again cause if they screwed me over once, they are just going to do it again. They either lied to me (which I'm thinking that they did) or they completely forgot all about me, which is just as bad. Shame on you Brownsberger!
