Please, Please, PLEASE read the review from Nicole. She covered the other details I have not…read moreregarding Dr. Olenczak low rating!!! I would not recommend Dr. Olenczak to my worst enemy. Finding a patient who has received the proper treatment from this Dr. is like finding the proverbial "Needle in a Haystack" Most of the time, I take reviews by others on the internet with a grain of salt, whether it be cars, electronics, or doctors in this case. 1st, no matter what time you book your appointment to be seen you might as well add an extra 30 minutes or more to that time. I've been to many doctors over time and his wait time by far exceeds most other physicians. He hardly ever asks what procedures you've tried in the past and if they even worked for you! If you've had 10 injections into your back with little to no pain relief, you can be sure Dr. Olenczak is going to schedule that procedure for you AGAIN! Dr. Olenczak is all about the money and how can he squeeze the most out of each patient if they have had little success with procedure in the past. In regards to the other user comment regarding the Dr. Olenczak being pushy, degrading, and impatient. They are 100% correct!! After your extended wait time in the patient area, you finally arrive to talk with him and you might have a total of 5 minutes to discuss all the issues. He offers no guidance, no explanation or stories of other patients that have similar conditions and what type of results they experienced with trying different procedures to help alleviate the pain. You're the donkey and he's holding the carrot out in front of you leading you along as you become a better paying patient gradually giving you little tidbits of information regarding your condition every couple of visits. 2nd if you condition has changed or become worse, don't worry because Dr. Olenczak will take what you tell him and totally disregard what you just explained to him. Must move on to the next customer, time and money is a wasting. Don't worry though, if you decide to go back to him in a monthly follow-up, you can re-explain it to him again. Why would he care? He's not the one in pain! Lastly, if you believe this rant is because it's just another disgruntled patient because they didn't get "meds" they wanted, then nothing is further from the truth. This review was written for those people who are truly in pain and would like to protect other patients from the having to endure the treatment that we have received as prior patients.

Pros: Doctors are knowledgeable. Surgical work and care was good. No wait in office for appointment…read moretime. Cons: I second the fact that the lady who schedules surgery is not very nice. She is short and does not seem concerned as you are on her time. Second, I work in a medical profession and have the resources to know if the surgery center/orthopedic is billing me correctly for the serves that were rendered. BEWARE... they are incorrectly billing for surgery. Not many people would question it.. as I would not if I did not have the knowledge and resources that I do. But they are basically billing through two different offices (Surgery Center and Ortho Office) to get paid for services that should be included in the postop care (surgery fees). I had surgery done in the Cumberland Valley Surgery Center and just about 4 weeks later had pins removed at the Ortho's Office (basically 2 doors down) and they are separately charging. They claim that it is something that the health insurance should catch BUT with the knowledge that I have your health insurance is paying in full faith that the doctors office is billing for services correctly! Their systems only catch if they are trying to bill for the same services more than once on the same date of service. How do they get away with it... bill for the doctor performing the services through different offices! That is how! Check your bills everyone!!! You might be paying for things you are not responsible for either!

I have nothing but great reviews about Meritus, from beginning to current. I was referred to Dr…read more Jamal for a pretty big surgery on my back (removed an infected cyst). The staff at his office have been wonderful. Post surgery I had to stay at the hospital for 4 days while the pain and vitals were managed as well as the supplies I needed (have to have a vac on my back) arrived and post-surgical care (have to have my dressing changed 3x weekly) was set up. While at the hospital the nurses, CNAs, techs, dietitian, and staff were incredibly great!! They definitely took care of me and treated me with respect, kindness, and professionalism. Hospital visits and stays are never fun and no one likes to be there so how you're treated during a vulnerable and unpleasant time makes a huge difference!! Everyone was very thoughtful, didn't experience any disrespect nor rudeness. Yes, there are different cultures and personalities, but I was very happy with how they took care of me during this painful and uncomfortable time. Thank you all!!
