I have had many chiropractic visits (I am a former athlete with many back injuries), and the expertise and care in this office are hands down the best. Doctor Bob is fantastic - I would argue he is one of the best in the country in what he does. He also has the best tools you can find in a chiropractic office and connections to refer you to additional help if you need it (beyond his care).

I have been coming here now for quite some time to receive my periodic maintenance with my back and…read moreneck. Most of my issues are compounded from working in IT and being on a computer all day. I never knew being in IT would be physically demanding on the body. After my visits my back and neck always feel realigned and I noticed myself sitting a lot more straight than usual. My recent visit was for my back again. However, this time it was on my left side of my back. This pain was far worse than when it was on my right side. He felt my neck and told me it was pretty stressed. I am assuming this was associated to the knot in my left side of my back. After my visit I was able to maneuver more. I still have the knot in my left side. But I have a follow up appointment that I hope will resolve this stress on my left side of my back. I have also come here for my knee injuries from running too hard twice, once in my right knee and then a few months later the left knee. The right knee was the worst, but again Dr Bob took care of me and kindly explained to me that I am getting older and running five miles every other day at my age is not too great. I listened to him about my shoes. I purchased some Brooks running shoes from other runners I know who said they really help. I can honestly say I haven't had any issues running recently. I love to run because it releases so much stress. But Dr Bob was right about my shoes possibly being the problem from where the pain areas were with my knees. The other thing he has helped me with was my right wrist. I though I was getting carpal tunnel on the right side of my wrist. The treatment he provided and recommendations paid off. I switched the type of mouse I was using, and I started using a track ball mouse. That helped me out a lot. I haven't had any issues since then with my wrist. Finding his new building a can be easy if you use Google Maps. It was pretty straight forward. However the parking is confusing and complicated. As your turn right at the fork like Google says, make a quick right and there is some unassigned parking spots. Just be sure you give yourself ample time to find parking and the building if it's your first time being a patient here. With the new building comes it's pros and cons. The con is it is a little smaller in the open bay area than the previous building and waiting area by the entry way is also smaller. The Pros, you still receive the great customer service and friendly staff smiles who like to have fun and joke around with you. So leave your negativity at the door upon entering the room. Embrace the positive zen as you walk in. Now my favorite part of the pros with the new place. Dr Bob has gone fully automated and paperless. No more filling out paper work about your pain areas. Now when you check in at the front counter he has a tablet for you to fill that information on. It's point and click. When you check out now they are also accepting Apple and Google Pay! I love using my Apple Pay app. Again for myself I really enjoy coming to visit with Dr Bob. I always recommend him to my family and friends. He makes miracles happen and the pain seems to usually go away on the first visit most of the time! Keep up the phenomenal work y'all!!!

The office is set in a relaxing Hill Country setting with free parking shaded by live oak trees. The serene surroundings and organized, clean office, conveniently situated close to downtown yet much less stressful, are exactly what you hope to find in a medical office setting. Also impressive: The online check-in process was made available in advance; the welcoming, friendly front desk staff person helped me find the office after Apple Maps misdirected my navigation; and the attentive medical assistant ensured I felt comfortable and informed before seeing the doctor. Dr. Craig Thomajan was excellent--he took the time to explain everything clearly, answered my questions thoroughly, and his calm expertise put me at ease. I left feeling well cared for and with a clear understanding of my treatment plan. Now that I know what going to a podiatric physician involves, I won't hesitate to return in six weeks for my next appointment. I highly recommend Austin Foot and Ankle Specialists to anyone seeking expert, compassionate foot and ankle care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

The first doctor I saw was a young male - he seemed very inexperienced and unsure of himself. He asked me if I was married to the father of my child. The whole thing was weird. I asked to please get with a provider that had experience with pregnancy and my second visit hurt my back worse. The doctor did not seem to know much about pregnancy - she told me to stretch which in the 3rd trimester you have to be very careful bc of excess relaxin, she actually caused more pain and triggered sciatica. I'm very disappointed in this experience. The office vibe was weird. Has the weird like patient mill vibe and I will not be going back and don't suggest anyone do. It felt very charlatan. Like they didn't overall know what they were doing. They didn't tell me anything I didn't already know about my body or recovery.

This isn't a joke as much as I would say it is. When this problem stems up it needs to be corrected otherwise it's considered deceptive billing practices which could have lead me to contact state agency to handle the situation. Secondly the care continues to be a joke... a headache when Enrique tried to massage my neck causes it to hurt which even the use of essential oils doesn't work and will not be allowed in my office. I'm preparing to file a compliant to the Texas Medical Board to evaluate and assess his practice. Lastly, my parents have requested I stay away from the doctor and this place. They have said that Enrique is a monster and considers to hurt me more and more than doing any good. Going forward if I do continue to come for visits that we are to stay as doctor and client relationship. I'm requesting the discontinuation of discussion about friends, Barry's and jokes be kept off limits during my visits. This review will stay on permanently and I ask not to be contacted.

Mother daughter bonding never seemed so painful…read more In an ultimate nod to maternal codependence and karmic unity, mom and I both seriously damaged our rotator cuffs on the left shoulder recently. Hugging has been extremely awkward. Ever lose a limb? Life as you know it pretty much stops. After surgery, I chose St. David's Rehab because they have a warm pool. I love water. Once a week in water and once on land... Sounded like a good plan to me. Being in a pool made it possible to lift my arm and actually strengthen muscles that had not been used in a very long time. I had originally started at another physical therapy place, but i found their facilities disappointing and their therapists abysmal, always overlapping scheduling so i would basically get 15 mins with the therapist and then they sent me to another room to do my exercises. I thought it was normal as they would begin working with the next patient halfway through my appointment. Lots of PT places do this... Beware!* Christy led me through a series of exercises and stretches and I had 1 on 1 attention for the FULL time. She would touch my shoulder or back and make sure the right muscles were doing the work. She was encouraging but never cheerleadery. Her positive attitude and awesome sense of humor helped me work through the weakness in my arm and shoulder. With her professional guidance, I saw clearly the difference between my weakness and my pain. This office NEVER overlaps patients. Christy was prepared for every session and would take notes, recording changes in my strength and flexibility. When I need to distract myself, like when I went to get a Brazilian for the first time, I tend to talk and talk and talk. Get going on a good subject and I stop thinking about the excruciating pain when lifting an arm that hasn't been lifted in a year. Christy has a magical way to just flow with any conversation... She makes you feel comfortable whether you are a talker or just had a stroke. She can see into your humanity and she has compassion for you, but she never let me wimp out. Oh, and I tried. Last week she told me she was done, there is nothing more she can do for me and this Friday is my final therapy for this phase of rehab. I was not happy. She said rehabilitation of the injury is done and I can do my exercises without her. I respect someone who sees when their job is complete. She is not a personal trainer and doesn't want to waste my time or money. I am just feeling needy and really appreciating the attention. Jessica at the front desk was always welcoming and wonderful, making sure I had appointments scheduled. Amazing what a beautiful smile and some thoughtful words can do for someone who has suddenly become disabled. I could have only liked her more had she liked the Trans Siberian Orchestra less. ;) The other St. David's therapists seem equally as great as Christy and I am sure that each has their specialty. I am partial, however, and once you start with someone it is so so nice to not get shuffled around between 5 overworked therapists.* Sorry, i digress - that happened at the last place and is another cautionary tale. I had rockstar parking but that may have been due to choosing the 8am appointments. If you want to skip the horrid late afternoon parking lot called Bee Caves Road, sign up for the early morning time slots. I am committed to doing my exercises every day and improving my arm to the point that I am back in a month to begin strengthening my arm for swimming freestyle and playing tennis. I would even like to begin training for my second triathlon. There are many things that I can now do with my left arm. Waving goodbye to St. David's is not one of them. *Here is what I learned in the past 6 months about physical therapy clinics... There are several components to success: great therapists, great equipment, specific equipment for your injury, organized billing procedures, clear communication with health insurance, receiving 1-1 attention, therapist preparation, clarity of exercises, and patient actually doing their exercises on their own. Christy at St. David's far exceeded my expectations in all but this final component. ;)

I had my second hip replacement surgery in mid-April and had started at another PT place a bit closer to my home which had been recommended to me by a family member. After 3 sessions I realized I had made a mistake. I knew roughly what needed to be done because I had already had the surgery once before, so I drove over to St. David's in Westlake Hills (next to the Hills Fitness Center) for a brief meeting and liked what I saw and heard. The facility is spotless and very orderly. Jessica handled the Insurance approval and scheduling flawlessly. And then I had my first meeting with Christy. Christy did a thorough analysis of where I was (the previous PT person did not) and she definitely knew what to do for me: Building my strength but giving me exercises I could do on my own; Stretches and massages to improve my range of motion; exercises to improve my balance. Significantly, I was pretty happy with the PT I received from the first surgery (also through St. David's but at the main hospital.) However I ended up with painful calcification in the muscles and scar tissue around the new joint. I told Christy about this at the beginning of her work with me, so some of what she has done has been to prevent that problem. At my 2 month post surgery check -up...NO calcification! Today Christy told me we were going to be finished after my next 2 sessions, and I felt a bit sad...but my already enormous respect and gratitude for her increased. She has known what to do, always has had a specific plan for it (full 50-55 minute sessions, NOT 25 minute or overlapping and working with more than one person, or sending me off to do exercises with a PT tech. But she also knows when we are finished. I am exceedingly pleased about my experience here and especially with Christy.
