Scott is a gem. Intense, not for those looking for spa vibes but for those who need problems solved. Incredible results.

I've been going to the Yuan Wellness Center since early last year. Every time I've had any problems…read morewith my back, they've been able to fix me up really well within one to two treatments. I recommended this place to my mom too, and she went and got some pain fixed that she'd been suffering with for so long. Everyone in the office is so kind - they treat you like family and they have yummy snacks and drinks in the lobby :)

Long overdue review, but better late than never…read more Dr Si and his office is the absolute best! I want to help get the word out that this is the place to get your aching body fixed! Professionalism: Dr. Si and his staff are professional trained and fully accredited to practice bone adjustments, physical therapy, muscle injuries, etc. He uses different techniques for the appropriate application Tui Na (medical massage), acupuncture, acupressure, etc... The offices was always clean pre CoVid, and now even more clean. My History: I had an impacted L4, L5 which also resulted in sciatica. In a few words, it totally flipped my life and those around me upside down. I was miserable. Back problems are no joke. Dr. Si was very honest and upfront w me. He mentioned it may take a few visits and then some maintenance visits to help correct my pain. I did not take issue with this as I was dealing with this pain for some time. And I've already tried a few other doctors w some lasting for patterned appointments for mos. None really helped much at all. Some are actually big time crooks. My Recovery: After a few therapy visits w Dr Si, I end up feeling much more better. It was a gradual progression I can feel and notice. I began standing straight, then hiking pain free. Later on, I was up traveling all over, again. Long road trips, flying, and riding my bike for miles. :) Nowadays: I mainly go in now for the massage / maintenance. Occasionally, I still pull muscles because I *think* I'm still young. I'll do mad activities like run up and down the courts w teenagers. :) For the occasional muscle injuries - One thing about me I really don't like pointy objects. Myself being Asian, I have done acupuncture w more than a few different doctors internationally. Eh - I tolerate it. Yet for some reason or another, when Dr. Si performs acupuncture it is way less intrusive and more comfortable. It doesn't bother me! Advice - Please do try it! I really advise that if you have any muscle or back pains that you give Dr Si and his staff a try. Even I was a little skeptical since I've already tried a few doctors. But a friend was like what's one more try. Eh... Dr Si has really helped me and I think they can help you. They are flexible w scheduling you in and offers two locations: Fremont and Cupertino. Please connect with his staff and him. They are very patient and most importantly professionally trained. Last note: We are still in a pandemic. The office has always and still very clean. They take the necessary precautions like: mandatory temp checks, face masks requirements, and hand sanitizing upon entry. Also, if acupuncture is prescribed Dr Si always uses a clean set that is wrapped up.

It took me a long time to find this place. Lucy and Angel are both great Accupuncturist. I've done massage therapy, Accupuncture, and cupping here. The experience is very enjoyable. They make sure your needs/problems are heard and treated with patience and care. The clinic itself also looks very clean, bright, organized, and professional. They have two clinics, one in San Jose and the other in Cupertino. Both clinics are well organized and very clean. The front desk helper is always very friendly, and the acupuncturists and Tuina therapists are all well trained professionals. My husband had plantar fasciitis about 1 1/2 years ago, the heel pain gave him a hard time to walk as usual. He went to see the podiatrist, but did not really help. He had to stop his daily hiking for almost 1/2 year, till he went to Hongwei for the treatment. Angel used her super Tuina technique helped my husband's heel pain problem after about 6 treatments. I just had a right knee pain problem around the end of year 2021, went to my family doctor and took a X-ray and was diagnosed as arthritis. Again, they could not do anything except suggesting me to take pain killer when I could not stand the pain. Fortunately, I knew Hongwei might be able to help. I started my treatment here on 1/13/22 and went through 4 treatments so far. I felt no pain anymore and it cured my right knee problem. One last thing I like here is it used not only Tuina, but also acupuncture, fire cupping together to help you restoring your body in a natural way; it treats the body as a whole and tries to cure the root problem which causes the pain. I have recommended friends to here also, and they all had positive experiences.

I came to Neta with a friend's recommendation. In the initial call, explained I had nasal polyps,…read morehad lost sense of smell and in addition that I was pregnant. Neta was very patient, listened and confidently said she could help me. I noticed a difference from the very first treatment and after a few treatments I regained the sense of smell. Neta also helped me with my baby after she was born, because I had noticed whenever we had to drive, for even a 10 minute drive she would cry and it was very difficult to calm her down. Neta immediately said she could help and after 2 treatments my baby was really relaxed while in the car. I recommend Neta to everyone she is the best!!!

My doctor recommended sleeping with wrist guards and eating less salt to reduce the swelling but it didn't help. This led to sleepless nights since I couldn't feel my arms. My partner would have to massage my hands and wrists every morning for me to even be able to clench my fist to brush my teeth. I had some friends recommend going to an acupuncturists. I wasn't convinced that it would help but I was desperate so I started my research and landed on Neta with the help of fellow yelpers! Immediately after the first visit, the intense shooting pain in my wrists and hands were gone. I was sitting in my car after the visit just staring at my hands and moving them around. I was elated that it had worked that I called my partner immediately and just gabbed about my new found use of my hands again while he was at work. Couldn't wait to tell him I guess! Lol A few weeks later, I went back to get help with numbness in the shoulders which was impairing my sleep. I wasn't able to sleep on my side since my shoulders would get numb and start throbbing. The visit helped immediately and I was able to sleep more comfortably (as much as a 8-9 month pregnant woman can. Lol)! She even helped me with pregnancy constipation and postpartum swelling of my limbs after my induced labor. With such a great experience, it was a no brainer that I would take my newborn daughter to Neta after we experienced some major constipation issues after her two month vaccination appointment. Our baby went from pooping after every meal to not pooping at all for two weeks. She taught us some massages that would help with her digestive system and did vibration acupuncture instead of needles on our baby. Lone and behold, baby pooped immediately after visit. Would definitely recommend Neta to all prenatal, postpartum and baby acupuncture.

This is my first time coming to see Tsadae. Her business is in a plaza with parking and she shares the space with an acupuncturist. Tsadae is there every Thursday and Friday and alternating Sundays. She is very responsive via text and is very understanding if you need to reschedule as we know sometimes things come up in our pregnancies that we don't anticipate! During my massage she was very professional and was able to give my body pain relief in my lower back. I also felt relaxed afterwards and felt like my body could move more freely. She helped released tension in my neck and shoulders as well since that's where I hold all my stress. She has pillows to help you feel comfortable on your side while she massages you and a wedge pillow for when you sit up for her to massage your neck and upper back. I definitely recommend her!

I visited Serentiy Day Spa in the early afternoon on a weekday for the first time and the whole…read moreprocess was very smooth - I called them in the morning to make a booking, showed up 5 minutes early, filled out a short form, paid the massage fee and I was good to go. A few things to note here - 1. You do not tip upfront. Your initial payment is only for the base massage rate. You tip after your massage. They have a sign right next to the front desk which basically encourages you to tip more (1 thumbs up - 20% tip, 2 thumbs up - 25% tip, 3 thumbs up - 30% tip). Don't feel pressured because of that sign. It's better if you carry cash for the tip. They prefer it that way because you give the tip directly to your masseuse. 2. The short form you fill out lets you provide information like pressure level, sore points to focus on during the massage and any injuries that the masseuse needs to be aware of. This is very helpful in case there is a language barrier. The front desk lady was really nice and friendly. And I wasn't pressured into tipping a certain amount which is great. I opted for the Swedish massage with back walking. The rate was very reasonable and the massage was well worth the price. You can find all the rates on their website. My masseuse was quite good. I have had back walking experience in the past but this one was a little different (and more intense). My masseuse used her heels and the toes to dig into my back to loosen it before the oil massage. It was maybe 5 - 10 minutes long but there were times when I definitely struggled to breathe. This part was definitely not relaxing but it's on me. I could have asked them to lower the intensity/pressure more but I thought that they were already doing the lowest pressure because I had mentioned it in the form that I filled out. My masseuse engaged me in a few conversations during the massage. I was okay with it but I can see how that can hinder the overall experience for folks who enjoy their massage in a more quiet and peaceful setting. There wasn't any communication barrier so I was able to ask my masseuse to lower the intensity for the oil massage which was great. Their massage tables are heated but you can ask them to turn it off if it gets too hot. Unlike other massage places, this spa didn't have water or tea after the massage was over (or at least I didn't see/get any) but that's fine. Overall it was a good experience.
