So Delicious and excellent service! I was tired of buying grocery store cupcakes for my young boys birthday parties and having them lick the frosting off the top and ditching the cupcake. A coworker brought me a frosted cookie from Scottage Cakery as an afternoon treat and it was so moist and tasty!! I decided I was going to try themed cookies for my next son's birthday party. I went in and asked Michelle if she could do Godzilla themed cookies. She looked some up, we came up with a plan, and Michelle and Valenda made the cutest (I mean most viscous) looking Godzilla cookies an 8 year old boy could ask for! And you know what? All those kids ate every inch of those big cookies and came back asking for a second helping! We were new to the area and celebrating our daughters 6th birthday. A friend recommended Scottage Cakery for a custom birthday cake. I reached out to the owner via Scottage Cakery FB page and exchanged some photos of what we were looking for. She promptly responded with some quotes and pictures of similar cakes she has made. All the cakes were stunning, we had to place our order! Without a doubt it was the prettiest two-tiered Unicorn cake we could have asked for. The flavors were delicious. The flavors and fondant were absolutely amazing. We received many compliments on the cake and referred several friends to Scottage Cakery. The owner even delivered the cake and set up the tiers. Any time I want a cake made for a special occasion i always go to Scottage Cakery! Most recently I got married in Spokane and had my maid of honor make a special trip to Polson to pick up my wedding cake from here! I had a one tier cake and 200 macarons! We only had roughly 50 people show up to the wedding and ALL but 20 macarons were left! It was so delicious and definitely one of the highlights of my night! These macarons were so good, the 20 we had left over, i was going to take home with me and inhale, but my family ended up stealing them and eating all but 4 on the way home (we live in Missoula). This has been the worst experience of our lives! The owner of the business was asked to make a cake for a family members wedding. She was over 2 hours late!!!! She tried to say it's not her fault it has only ever happened twice before tired to interrupt the event by talking to the bride, would not set up on her own, claimed my mother yelled and roared her in front of 50 people when only half that many was in attendance at the event, tried to justify her actions by saying the quality of her cake was best... it was not. I must confess. The gang at Scottage Cakery feeds my addiction. I once was able to go years without a macaron. Now I find myself planning trips around getting their delicious macarons. They're like the Bubbe Gump of macarons. Salted Caramel Macarons. Raspberry macarons. Coconut macarons. Vanilla macarons. Panda (decorated) macarons. Pig macarons. I had been to several Birthday parties that Scottage cakery had made there unique cakes for. So when we did a Birthday party for my disabled grandson I new who I was going to call to make this very special cake. I had a very difficult request for a cake. I did not know if it was possible. Scottage Cakery made me an awesome unique "Geocaching Film Festival" custom cake. She was able to use the GIFF colors and a photo of it made it into our Geocaching International Blog as one of the top 35 GIFF moments! Everyone that attended my local GIFF event was amazed at her decorating skills! I also LOVE her macarons! They are delicate French cookies that are difficult to make, yet Michelle has the touch.
