As a local resident of Exeter Township, I had my car serviced and washed by Scott's on occasion over the past 25 years and have been relatively pleased with the service. However, I decided to get my car washed last week and was not overall pleased with the service. I sat in my car looking at a employee who was engaged with another employee who held a lengthy conversation without once acknowledging my presence for more than 5 minutes. Once I paid for the ultimate top tier wash as I had in the past, I noticed that not only has the price increased, but that I was even taxed on the wash. Never, had I been taxed for the car wash at any car wash in my lifetime. Because I always tip, I initially felt bad that I forgot to bring cash, but after my experience and reading recent reviews from other customers, I now understand why the service I received was atypical of the Scott's car was I had grown accustomed to. read more

Do not use this car wash! It broke the tail light cover off on my daughters 2017 Mini. When I called about it they said they found it and it had been cracked in the car wash. They said they would replace it because it was a factory part. About an hour later the manager called and said that they wouldn't cover it because the car was over 5 years old. I'm guessing they figured out it was more than a $10 part.I had to go pick up the part that was destroyed. No apology and didn't even offer to refund the car wash. I'm now out $260 to get a replacement that I have to put in myself. read more

Been going there for years and it was great. New owner recently took over and it's gone waaaaay downhill. Except the prices which have gone waaaay in other direction. Went in last weekend for oil change and employee working the counter was not helpful - clearly no experience. All they had to do was look up what I did last time - which is what they do anyway. Then the technician says that I need synthetic oil. Ummmm no I don't. Never got it before. Do yourself a favor and stay away for now. Maybe give them a shot in a year once they have some experience. This place use to be great! Have been taking cars there since 1987. this place was top shelf while Scott owned it. I believe the ownership has changed and the new owners just aren't hands on as he was. So why the poor rating? Last week I was there and it was poorly staffed (Again). The person running the cash register was then running over to rinse the cars. Yes, a one man show. While I felt bad for the person, they were allowing the folks to get through on the automated line (those with a membership or paying by card) to totally gyp the line, cutting in front of those paying with cash. The cash paying line just sat there. The person got to busy to stop rinsing and collect cash, plus the line of people coming through the automated line was endless. They use to be a good deal. Scott would put discount coupons in The Clipper where you could get the top car wash for $5 off. The new owners are charging much more per wash and no discounts AND trying to push everyone towards a subscription which is equal to 2 full price washes or $40. I went there on Monday at 2, the car wash was not open because they didn't have enough people at work, but it was opened at 3. I went back Tuesday to get an express interior wash.... It's clearly stated that the interior is to be vacuumed thoroughly, windows are to be washed inside and out. This is a complete joke. Went through the car wash and came out with just as many bugs on my mirrors and grills as I went in with and the tire shine is splotchy and wheels are still dirty. Usually they spray off the wheels and bugs before you go in but they didn't this time. The gold wash with tire shine definitely is not worth the money. I drove from Scotts car wash to Walmart to get some things and looked at the car when I got there so this was washed three minutes ago. Now I'm headed up to the car wash at Lee Myles to clean my wheels, mirrors, and front end. read more

When I go to Scott's I generally get just an exterior wash for my car and my wife's car. And the result is always good albeit with some bird droppings or road tar still there. Now, for the interior. I went today to also have my wife's interior done as well and found that the basic inside cleaning is now $60 by itself!! So, for the best wash and interior cleaning is now $80!! Way too much money for that service. I'll be looking elsewhere when our cars need a full service! read more

Rude staff and bait and switch coupons. There was a time that Scott's cared about their customers. That time is obviously long gone. I have called 3 times asking if they have availability for an express interior detail. They won't take appointments but the first two calls I was told that they couldn't do it. I called today and was told that as long as it didn't rain and I could come in by 5, they could accommodate. I got there 40 minutes later and was greeted by a girl who looked like "Car Wash Manager" is as far as she is going to get in life. I told her what I needed and her response was "I'm not doing those now." When I asked why, her response was "I'm very short handed. I can barely run a d@mn car wash. I asked for a manager and she very arrogantly raised her hand and said "That would be me!" So I asked for the owner. A very bald man came out and claimed to be the owner. I explained the rudeness and the situation and that I had called 45 minutes ago and was told to come in. At this point he told me that he had an employee go home sick "throwing up in the bathroom" just 20 minutes ago. Convenient. If you believe that, I have some ocean front property in Kansas that you'll just love. He then said that there was an express detail happening in one of the bays as we spoke, but it would be the last for the day. No apology. No offer to accommodate. Nothing. Just a brush off and that was it. I told "Scott" that I was going to post an online review and he said "Well that's inappropriate." Maybe I wouldn't need to if you ran a decent business. The kicker. If you look at my posted photo, it's of a coupon. $34.95 and lists all the services. It says "With Valpak Coupon. Not to be combined with any other offer." When you pull up to their wash, the sign for the "Interior Express" is the same exact services for $34.95. Their "coupon" isn't a coupon at all. It's a bait and switch. Offers no discount but can't be combined with another coupon. Can you say "SCAM?" Instead of Scott's, why not try a competitor who actually cares about customers - their lifeblood. Scott's used to be a friendly, hometown place. Now it's just a crappy car wash that is somewhat in disrepair that is all about the mighty buck - although they refused to take my money. I also think ValPak needs to know they're scamming people with their coupons. Meh. Paid $31.75 plus tip for the interior express. Less than impressed! Services were supposed to be as follows: "$29.95 plus Tax Gold Wash Package (a $13.00 value) Thorough Interior Vacuum Floor Mats Shampooed Windows Cleaned Inside & Out Dashboard & Front Door Panels Dressed Door Jambs Cleaned Tires Dressed" I'd say the window cleaning was poor and streaky. Definitely not a thorough interior vacuum. Dashboard still has a ton of dust and door jam cleaning was poor. I've done a better job myself in 15 minutes. I just had the worst experience in the worst car wash that one can give. It is the absolute sore in the USA. There can't be one worse than them.I just paid $50 for only a vacuum clean. I truly dislike writing bad reviews - but I feel after the 2nd time of a bad experience it is time. This is absolutely the worst car wash in the area. I received the complete package wash the highest level to only have my car 50% cleaner. The bird droppings and miscellaneous were either still on my car or there was obvious evidence left of where they were - the hand dry at the end might as well be done away with and just extend the blower time at the end of the wash, the towels the employees used left my windows smeary and in worse condition then before I entered the wash. They also saw that the large bird dropping on the hood of my car was still there and just didn't wipe the hood at all - only the sides. This was very similar to the type of service I received the first time - however I was giving them a 2nd try just to make sure it wasn't an off experience - NOPE it is always a bad experience. read more

The new 2 lane set up is a recipe for fights. I got in line behind 6 cars when I arrived. Car after car passed the left line to go to the front of the line because they have monthly passes. I'm paying $18 for one wash AND I get to watch people cut in front of me and others... When I got to the front of the line,, there were 12 cars behind me in the left lane, monthly passes still just bypassing paying customers. There should be one line until you get to the monthly pass island. NO WAY this procedure is a good idea. I left there really pissed. The girl that answered the phone was rude but I went to Scott's anyway for the first time. Three teenagers worked the car wash entrance. The guy with blond hair who was working one of the spray hoses was mocking me while I was in my vehicle. I then went through the car wash and encountered two additional teenagers afterwards who wiped down my car. In total five workers attended to my vehicle but I still left with the same bird crap on my windshield that I had when I went there. It was the most expensive car wash that I ever purchased. I was very disappointed in the service that I received. I don't remember ever having such a bad car wash experience. You would think that at least one of the five workers that I encountered would have ensured that my windshield was clean but that was not the case. Never again! read more

I was overdue for an oil change and stopped here, no appointment and it was quick and friendly service.

They barely wiped down the car after it came out of the wash, leaving the car super filthy. I wish they hired more skilled hand dryers or added more machine dryers. I would give 5 stars however the people at the end of the wash who are supposed to dry your car do a really terrible job. I know they're young people but still they're not getting the job done. Took my Subaru Forester here yesterday. I have been using Scott's for years. Question, Where the hell is Scott? This place was so good I used to drive from West Chester to get a mini detail & oil change for two cars twice a year., I have mild cerebral palsy 65, and for yrs have pulled up to the door and either my wife or a scott's helper would help me in. WELL, this little top Sargent (w)itch comes running almost yelling at us (wife n me) about parking near the door, she won't listen at all to me, and when she finally realized what was going on, she was almost yelling at my wife "are you gonna move the car?" the rest of our visit was subpar. They need to hire someone with people skills behind their counter. and fire this snot nose little (w)itch. oh btw we will not be back.......... read more

ALMOST as good as Temple Wash Works. Prices are reasonable compared to what they offer, especially if you bring a coupon from the valupak. If they could offer a clean peppermint rag to wipe down the dash like the Wash Works does, I wouldn't have any reason to head over to Temple. The Interior Express package with a $5 coupon is an absolute steal. I've never seen my van so clean...all in 20 minutes. read more

Have gone here many times for oil changes and washes, details, interior, etc. They generally do a good job, but customer service has always been lacking. Scott has treated my wife poorly on more than one occasion when she was there alone. Today I went there at 5:42PM for a service that was advertised to take 15 minutes. They closed at 6:00PM, and I was told they couldn't perform my service. Another example of poor customer service. read more

This car wash has gone down hill. It used to be amazing. Went there Friday for the last time . I got the gold with hot wax and tire shine. There was not one other car there. The prep area barely sprayed my car and did not do front windshield and front of car with the brush to loosen bugs. Well I go through the wash and the two people drying car had to put there phones down which I guess was an inconvenience since they missed mirrors and whole bottom half of car. Rims still filthy because they did not spray them down in the back . Gonna drive a half hour out of my way to go elsewhere from now on. Keep losing customers. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER RECEIVED. Had a exterior and interior cleaning done here, when the car was done it didn't look like the inside had even been touched. Called the manager who said we could bring it back to have it washed for free, as she was washing she was talking about me to the workers and pointing. Very hit or miss. If you go on a week day, in the late morning, the service is great. They really take their time to do it nice. If you go on a Saturday, it's a mess. Don't pay for anything more than a bronze wash because that's all they give you. Twice now on Saturdays, I've tried to get a gold wash and tire shine, and got neither. This past Saturday, it was especially bad. My car looked worse at the end with the big soap streaks on the roof and water spots all over. I've always been a forgiving soul and I know that sometimes people have off days, but I'm not intending on going back to Scott's anytime soon. I've heard good things about Wash Works in Temple. Think I'll give them a try next time. read more

Paid for a Gold car wash and they didn't give me one. They only sent me through as a Bronze. My car had bugs all over the front because they didn't scrub it. While they did send me through again for free, that was because I was a sweetheart never letting them know I was pissed. Be wary of this place. They will give you an $8 wash for your $13. read more

I have gotten my last 4 oil changes done here. Every single one I have had issues. First time, they didnt put the caps back on after filling my fluids. Everything drained out sitting in a drive through. They did come out and fill it back up but I had to keep waiting on them to show up. Next time, they were very sloppy and my car was burning oil off for the rest of the day. Third time, same sloppiness. 4th time was so quick, but no noticeable errors... until now. I'm sitting at the Chevy dealer because my car is leaking oil out of the plug which is now magically an after market plug. I bought my car brand new, no previous owners. Clearly whoever did my last oil change, didnt put back the original plug. Now I'm paying someone else to change it. Why did I keep going back here, you ask? I was a member of IBEW and wanted to continue supporting Scott. I'm done now. This place is quick and easy but VERY careless and sloppy. 2 stars because of the quickness and availability. Just beware of the carelessness. Update: Turns out when they put in the wrong plug in, it was slightly bigger than the original. It completely stripped the threads all the way through the metal and now I have to replace the whole oil pan. WONDERFUL. Zero Stars for causing me more drama. read more

Very inconsistent car wash. It's all in the staffing in the labor that they hire. Quite frankly I find the labor pretty lazy. They are often too caught up in conversation and checking their phone. sometimes it sounds like a party with lots of yelling. There is a new owner since years before. I don't find him to be as hands-on nor present. In the rare instance you get a good person upfront where they prep the car correctly but mostly you don't and the car will still be dirty at the end of a wash. Seriously how hard is it to spray the car down front, back, wheel wells, and sides. When it's busy they speed up the conveyor and the cars go through too closely and that compromises the quality of the wash. They don't rotate the towels at the end when they're drying them very often so be wary that they will scratch your car. If the car in front of you got tire shine you will end up with the residual sprayed all over your car and the air blowers spit out black muck negating the wash. If you care about your rims their wheel scrubbers will put fine scratched into them. If you have low profile, the rail will ruin them. I agree with other post that you have to watch what you get to ensure that you get what you pay for. I really use to like this car wash and visited weekly. It really use to be very good. No longer after consistent disappointment over 6 months. Come b/t 7-9am or 5-6pm weekdays for discounted wash or clip the coupons. Accepts all major credit cards. Tip at the end if you please. I only tip if the prep was good before hand. It forces them to work as a team although I do not believe they do. read more

Wasn't sure how to use the carwash. Girl who was supposed to tell me what to do kept pointing to the sign for instructions. However, I couldn't read the sign because there was already soap on the windows. When I got to the other end to have my car dried, one of the guys came up, leaned in my window right up to my face. He would not even give me a chance and told me off because the girl was upset at me for not knowing how to use the carwash. Please, no one ever go to this place unless you like supporting people who don't give respect. Especially no respect to older people that don't know how to use some of the car washes. read more
