I ended up needing 4 new tires and an oil change, which I agreed to. A few weeks later, I identified a discrepancy that may have been related to my experience when getting my car worked on. I called to speak with the owner, Ron, and explain to him my thoughts. Ron was very defensive and did not let me explain my belief or situation at hand. As an owner of a company, the professional approach would have been to at least hear the customer out. Fast forward to 2 months later, I started to hear a rumbling noise in my car when I accelerated. I took it to my dealership and they informed me that there is a flat spot on my tire which can happen during manufacturing. They also noticed weights were added to that specific tire to balance it. I was recommended to go back to Meineke, where my tires were just replaced, and have the tire replaced under my warranty. I did not personally call because of my past experience with the owner, so my dad called for me the next day. He spoke with Ron who was very unprofessional in his demeanor. He refused to believe it was due to manufacturing and gave multiple excuses for why he will not replace it before even seeing the tire. My dad tried to be professional and make an appointment for them to at least see the tire. Ron said "drop it off and I will look at it". This will not be happening and I will be taking my service elsewhere.

I called around and everyone laughed and said good luck. When I called Jose at Tire Palace he said, "No problem, I have a used one of those in stock". I had AAA get the car there right before closing and the guys got my tire off, balanced and replaced in about 15 minutes without marking the wheel - I actually own an automotive shop and this is not an easy wheel/tire to mount. When I asked how much, he could have told me any amount - I was at his mercy. Jose chose not to take advantage of that. Jose saved me about $1000 in hotel costs and a new Pirelli tire. When I asked how much I owed, they told me there was no charge. What they probably saw as a quick favor was a huge act of kindness to me. Life has been throwing a lot at me lately, and they took this problem that could have been the last straw for me, and they made it disappear. They were patient, helpful, professional, and genuinely kind. Customer service is one thing. Human kindness is another. Yesterday, this team gave me both, and I am incredibly grateful.
