There was no pock marks in old concrete due to salt. Now the entire part of concrete bordering the street is covered with salt damage AFTER ONE SEASON! $10,000 IS WHAT HE CHARGED. There is another narrow Crack measuring over 10 feet. I noticed that in January 2026. Showed the owner.....he blamed it on the low temperature. (Nothing was ever his fault!) He did FINALLY admit that the concrete was lower quality now. He refused to make it right and said I was being MEAN to him. CAN YOU IMAGINE??? I AM STUCK WITH THIS and am heartsick that I hired them. The salt damage will worsen every year and concrete will deteriorate more. Im an 80 year old widow living on SS. Shame on him. What goes around comes around!!

The stump removal machine broke down when they were removing the stump. This was on a Thursday. Owner said they would be back Monday or Tuesday of the next week to finish the stump. No show. Had to call on Thursday (1 week after tree removal) to see when he was going to finish stump. He acted like it had already been done. So he said he would do the rest of the stump the next day. Showed up early the next day (Friday) and finished stump. He and another person came. The other person just stood around. They brought no blower for clean up Finished stump but got chips all over the street which I ended up cleaning up, again, and also neighbors driveway. I would not call this company again for any future tree removal.

As far as why did I wait so long to post pictures now, I deleted these pictures and they just happened to show up in my facebook post that were previously posted by me. So that's why I posted later. I actually sent several emails and pictures to your company with no response. I'm not a person to complain or am I vindictive. This definitely was caused by enormous amounts of pellets thrown in my yard. You could see large piles. I have no reason to post something that's not true. My yard was beautiful and this just doesn't happen for no reason! After months to repair this and having a new company, my yard is beautiful and well taken care of. You can say all you want that I never called your company is a lie. You can never get a person to speak to. I know 100% your company caused this. I use another company now and my yard is beautiful. I'm going to be putting a metal roof on one of my rental properties and I hired these guys to cut…read morethe limbs from a large tree so there's little to no chance of the roof ever getting damaged from the tree. I had gotten some quotes from other companies and later got a quote from L&D. A lady came and quoted me and I told her what the other quotes were and although she didn't match the lowest quote she came close enough and due to the fact her company has a lot of solid reviews on other sites I went with them. My only complaint is they didn't call me to tell me when they would be doing the work. But luckily, I happened to be working on the street where the property is at another one of my properties and I saw them. They did the work and there was one limb they hadn't removed. I asked the guy in the bucket who was doing the cutting to cut that limb as well and he did, which I appreciate. They did a good job and the assistants worked hard as well, removing the limbs and throwing them in the wood chipper. They cleaned up pretty well and were nice. I'll no doubt have more cutting work to be done and will definitely get a quote from these guys as I'm happy with the work they performed.

I was passing by, not close AT ALL, to my car from the dentist when I heard the rocks hitting my car. one then struck me in the face! I yelled to the man and put my hands up but he did not respond due to wearing headphones, which is understandable, but then he went on his phone while still holding his equipment that was still on. very unsafe in my opinion and he seemed very unaware of his surroundings. hoping this is a one-off and not all of their employees are like this.

This year I bought a home and I hired Dahlkemper to clean the front, sides of the house and back yard. They did a fantastic job! I have before and after pictures. No joke, the yard was a jungle and my daughter was afraid to go into it. After Dahlkemper completed the job, the lawn was manicured and black mulch was placed in the front and on the side of the house. It looks like a completely different yard! What a difference it makes. They removed old tires, and other miscellaneous items that were in the yard from before I bought the house. They also removed several smaller tree stumps from bushes in the front yard and bushes on the sides of the house. It is completely transformed and I am so happy with the job! I will definitely hire them again to install my fence and to do other work, the only con was that my rake was missing and some trash was left on my porch. I mentioned it to the landscape designer and she stated that the team that worked on the job left it on the "side of the house" which I didn't see it at all (it wasn't there). Now that I'm a home owner every little bit counts! I had to go back to Home Depot and spend another $10 bucks on the metal rake. Believe me, during this time of the year leaves are everywhere and a rake is priceless in the Northwest PA. Again, I really love Dahlkemper's and I recommend them to anyone. Merry Christmas!
