The atmosphere is cozy as it seems to be an updated barn and the cafe sits in the back with big windows overlooking the plant selection. We visited on a rainy winter day but I'd love to come back in the fall given the other reviews that mention their pumpkin patches/hayrides/Christmas trees. The cafe was packed this weekend! Didn't take too long to get our food though. The menu is big and the food is good. Espresso was better than drip coffee. They have pastries, breakfast/lunch entrees, fresh juice, and weekly specials. I have been a customer of Scottsdale Farms for over 20 years and love the selection of flora and fauna. The staff is knowledge and friendly and I know so many by their first names. I have see the evolution of the business and the development of the home store decor. I have love to visit monthly and buy decor items that are unique. However, the my last couple visits were different and not in a good way. No longer does the store flow with color and texture but there is an over abundance of silk flowers, repetitive painting themes and a hodgepodge of Home Goods items. My place of serenity has gone tacky. I notice the changes and hope you can preserve the elegance of the store. read more

I wasn't expecting to find this charming oasis in the heart of Milton. I was impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I went to look at persimmon trees and was blown away by the vast inventory of flowers, plants, and garden accessories you can buy. Oh my word it was so good! It's my second time here and I will literally drive here just for the cafe shop alone. From their home made bone broth, coffees, sour dough toast, you've got real quality here. Everything is truly delicious and you can tell everything is crafted and made with so much thought. Trees, shrubs, bushes, indoor and outdoor plants, flowers (annuals and perennials) of all kinds for about as far as you can see. And the home decor is awesomely attractive. Pillows, pictures and home decorations galore. Beautiful arts and crafts everywhere. I love all the yard statues, trellises, water falls and creatively crafted planter pots of all shapes and sizes. I can see now why the have their own coffee shop a restaurant built in right there on site. Shop, drink, shop, eat and shop some more. Lol But the thing I like the most is their quick service and extensive expertise. Rather than go up and down dozens of aisles looking and reading flower tags I asked one of the associates. " I'm looking for a very low creeping, fast spreading, heat resistant, hardy, flowering perennial ground cover"? "We have 3, right over here in the next aisle over" was the answer. WOW! Love visiting Scottsdale Farms - especially during Fall! Their pumpkin patch has grown so much since I began visiting, and they now offer hay rides, a corn maze, zip lines, a playground, sunflower fields, and a little outdoor pop-up shop celebrating their Fall harvest. I also love visiting with all the farm animals on-site. They have an incredible Garden Center with a HUGE array of trees, annuals, and perennials to choose from. You can also purchase seeds, mulch, firewood, pottery, and gardening tools/accessories. They truly have it all! The indoor boutique is also a must-see which offers a beautiful collection of clothing, jewelry, and interior decorations from local designers and vendors. They even offer an in-home design service where a designer will personally work alongside you to curate your dream space for your home. I usually limit myself to one purchase/visit but it's so hard! Very quaint and wholesome cafe. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Parking was easy and upfront. Interior was farm-like and picturesque. The toasted sesame miso syrup was very good and I ended up getting two coffees with the syrup . The avocado toast was definitely worth the price as it was loaded with whole food fresh ingredients. They definitely did not skimp out on the avocado as they loaded it with at-least two whole avocados, green beans, radish, beets, onions, microgreens, carrots, and cucumber. I went to Scottsdale Farms to look for some pieces to decorate my house. There are so many beautiful pieces and choices that I became overwhelmed. I inquired about their design services and was introduced to Victoria, their interior designer. I can't even begin to say how much of a God sent she was. We initially sat and talked about what I needed and was looking for and she immediately brought out two paintings for me that I instantly fell in love with. Victoria was readily available, listened to what my vision was, gave great advise and options and helped me make my house a home. I loved this farm!! We came here on a gorgeous day in October and really enjoyed the scenery and weather. I appreciated the fact they have free parking, free admission, and free animal farm area. The hay rides, corn maze, and sunflower area do cost money. We enjoyed looking at the garden area which had all kinds of plants for sale. We had a delicious lunch at the pumpkin patch cafe! The pulled pork sandwich ($6) and homemade coleslaw ($3) were better than expected. The pumpkin patch was very cute. I was entertained by the goats in the animal farm as they were so cute and you could feed the goats as well. There's a little coi pond in the front where you can also feed the coi. The decor and home goods shop had a lot of beautiful items including vases, framed pictures, plates, rugs, pillows, hats, clothing etc. They a have an enchanted Christmas tree forest in the winter as well. We came here over the weekend to look at the pumpkin farm. It was HUGE! They had so many. And the workers just kept bringing out more. Our daughter loved running back and forth and finding more and more pumpkins of all different sizes, shapes, and colors to look at and hold. I only wish the line hadn't been so long so we could have gotten one she had picked out. We decided to skip the line since it would have taken 30 minutes to get through it! They also had petting zoos, a hay ride, and other attractions there as well. They had their normal plant nursery and a separate parking lot for it - and they asked when you pulled in the gates which you were there for so you went to the appropriate lot. They had plenty of parking attendants to make sure you went to the correct locations. The also have Christmas trees coming in late November for those who prefer real trees over fake trees! read more

This establishment has now resorted to false advertising. Have signs out stating a price per container, but then when you get to checkout charge you almost twice as much and say "Sorry, the sign was for a 3 gallon container, and this is a 5 gallon container". Problem is, there were no 3 gallon containers out there (not that we checked the size of the container, since there was only one size out there, and the person we talked to initially told us they only had 3 gallon containers of this particular vine. Totally false advertising. When I reached out to the owner to tell him what happened, his response was "sorry, sometimes this happens". Didn't honor the price on the sign, didn't care that we've been repeat customers for nine years. Will never return!! There was no price on the actual container, only a sign right in front of it. And their response is "Too bad!" The cafe also was awful. I bought a coffee for $7 and it was lukewarm, tasted awful. Sad that it has gone downhill so much. Oh well, there's other landscaping places around. They apparently think they are the only ones!! If I could give them zero stars I would! read more

I don't know what it is about this place, but every time we come here it RAINS. I mean it... EVERY time. But with this distraction it allows you to focus on the other elements of this property. There is a building ion which holds some really well thought out set ups of furniture and lighting fixtures as well as a cafe counter. Since there was a slight chill in the air we walked over to get a cappuccino that was created in an actual Italian brewing machine. Delish. The Café at Scottsdale Farms is now subcontracted with Tyler Williams who offers a minimalist menu, both in portion size and scope. Gone is the sandwich bar that offered a variety of choices, one of which was my favorite, The Milton. The only item I found appealing on the new café's menu was a turkey club for $16, which comes with chips or a choice of soup or salad for an extra charge. When my "sandwich" arrived, I was taken aback by its small size. There were two little stacks about three inches high by two inches square. Seriously, that was it! See the photos below with a can of diet Coke for size comparison. I ordered two, with an upcharge of $3.50 for a Barbie playhouse-sized "cup" of soup, which was about three ounces. The drink selection is limited with several weird choices and no Coke Zero, only diet Coke. To add insult to injury, I felt obligated to add an 18 percent tip that appears on the credit card scanner before you can finalize your purchase. The total bill was $51.56, which included a $7.38 tip for what was no service at all. I will never return to the Café as it is overpriced and undervalued for the small offering it is. Never have I been served a "sandwich" so small that was intended to be taken seriously. It is really insulting. I hope Tyler has a backup plan because there is no way this café is going to last with exorbitant prices and minuscule quantity. read more

Hate to leave a negative review since it's such a cute business but the service is completely hit or miss. I ordered a to-go pastry from the café to take home as a gift for someone and after receiving a broken one I asked the barista if I could have the non-broken one instead that was right next to it. She gave me literally the nastiest look I have ever seen in my entire life. I used to love coming here for the café, the store and the nursery but with customer service like that you lose customers. On another occasion I went to pay for my order at the store and the woman acted like she was bothered to have to do her job and check me out. I used to have a good customer experience here but lately there has been a serious need for training employees how to treat people with basic decency. read more

I have enjoyed many visits to this business but lately, feel it has changed and not for the better. Not for plants. Purchased some expensive plants and scrubs recently and assumed (big mistake) that with being a small, local and extremely popular place that the plants would be in great condition. Took the bottom off of the roots before planting as I always do to give the roots a change to spread. After about a month later, drying up and drying ( just like the home Depot ones except these were clearance 2.00 plants) so I followed a few people's advice and took a closer look at the roots. So root bound and tangled and so obviously sold knowing that these were already going to be lot of work. Big difference: Home Depot and pikes nursery and Lowe's and Walmart and ...take plants that are in poor condition back. Scottsdale will argue with whose fault it is and if you're lucky give you 50% back. The argument is designed to discourage you from returning the plant so most of us just don't. read more
