I Visited Kelli's on a Sunday afternoon! I have officially found a local plant shop that I'm truly happy about! They have a variety of indoor & outdoor plants that they grow in house! One of the employees mentioned that they didn't have their usual full stock of plants, but with what they did have, was better than any home depot or lowe's! I ended up purchasing the cutest, healthiest Ficus Audrey & I'm excited to see her grow! I also purchased 2 cute tiny Terra Cotta Pots! Which I'm super excited about because it's a different color than the standard brown/terra cotta color. I'll DEFINITELY be back to Kelli's for more indoor plants! The staff was amazing, they have a great selection and they don't sell Miracle Gro products!! haha a win in my book for SURE!!! I do have a question! Is the puppy in the front basket real? My visit to Kelli Green Garden Center was a little underwhelming. I was expecting a vast variety of tropical houseplants, but was met with a lot of empty shelves and disappointment. I did arrive a little later in the day, so I guess they must have sold out earlier on before I got there? I'm not completely sure, and it's quite a trek for me to head over there for another gander. The customer service is great, and staff is very friendly, helpful, and they will hold plants for the day if you get in contact with them for anything particular that you really want. I did take advantage of this service for a rhaphidophora tetrasperma "ginny" when it first became the "hype" plant. Although I'm grateful for the service, the plant wasn't in the best shape, and if I wasn't so obsessed with owning one at the time and didn't drive almost 40 minutes just for the RT, then I probably would have passed it up. I guess for the drive, I felt the need to come home with a couple plant babies. It's been less than a year and both have sadly moved on to the plant afterlife shortly after coming into my possession. I thought they would be much healthier plants considering they came from a local nursery, and I could have just gotten unlucky as well. I'm not too upset about it because plants have a mind of their own, and they can die when changing their environment, but I probably wouldn't come all the way out here again unless I was sent a picture of the actual plant I'd be taking home. Browsing around wasn't worth the drive to me, but if you live in the area, there's no cons to checking out this little local nursery. read more

Great prices and selection of starter vegetables in a small business. Very froendly and helpful staff

This place has a lot of charm and hard-to-find plants. The prices are affordable. The customer service is really nice. They made me feel welcome and I didn't feel snobbed for not knowing a lot about plants. (Some plant shops' staff will leave me feeling like that!) The resident monstera is blooming and it is an absolute delight. They had some planters and small DEROMA planters, a first for me! The workers, mom and son (I believe), wear masks. The place is spacious enough to safely shop. They have an off-limits greenhouse where they grow some of their offerings. I recommend this family business to anyone looking for plants. This small business has been in the community for years and it's a bit outside of Atlanta but well worth the trip-especially to see the resident monstera! read more

Pretty great prices, you'll find some pretty uncommon plants for a good deal if you come on the right day. Some of my best finds were a 6" philodendron giganteum for $25, and a 4" philodendron painted lady for $25. I bought a curly spider plant for $5 once that I realized was infested with aphids when I got home. Called to inform them & they said I could come in and return it, but I decided to just treat it and see what happens. Just make sure to check plants for pests before buying (I don't think it's a common occurrence but best to be safe). Overall great customer service and knowledgeable staff. Tons of variety and one of the best shops I've been to in terms of value. read more

I just LOVE Kelli Green...they're so nice, their prices are great, and they're extremely helpful. They have little wagons and my grand-daughter gets to ride with the plants, which is always fun. They have a huge selection of plants and I'd much rather give this local business my money than Home Depot or some other big box store. read more

I get plants from the grocery store for cooking, but from now on will purchase from Kelli Green. I could not believe the difference in quality and taste. They actually have chive plants which I have never found at my grocery store except in packages. I have never been a fan of parsley, even Italian, their parsley is fantastic. it is truly superior. Kelli Green is a nice, little, local garden center. They didn't have what we needed but we found that the staff was helpful overall as they tried to make alternative suggestions based on what they did have in stock. We thought the prices were average but honestly, you can find fuller plants for the same price or less at Home Depot. This is a great spot though if you want to keep your dollars local which we try to do whenever we can. We will come back - hopefully they'll have what we need next time. Tip: Back into your parking space if at all possible. The parking lot is VERY small and it gets super congested with incoming traffic and people trying to back out of their spaces. Being able to pull out will make it easier for you to get out when you're done. read more

I love Kelli Green! It is family owned and operated. The employees are helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. I choose to give my money to this kind of business rather than the huge conglomerates (Home Depot, Lowe's,etc.). Kelli Green often carries plants that you may not find elsewhere and it's a relaxing atmosphere with no sales people following you, unless you want them to! They'll load your purchases and ask you to do that before you even think of it. Their prices are VERY reasonable. I don't care about the parking area as others mentioned - at least you get to park near the entry door and pull inside to load your vehicle! Love this place! read more
