We were happy to return to Scottsdale Quarter. The Memorial Day holiday did not stop shoppers from finding some deals and sales. We got a prime covered parking spot in their free garage. There is also street and valet parking. You may find the valet parking in the east side of the shopping plaza. It's not uncommon for me to catch cases of travel brain and forget a few necessary items on my annual trip to Scottsdale...usually moisturizer or weather appropriate clothing. Uber at the ready, those time often call for a quick trip to Scottsdale Quarter. Now, there no such thing as cheap clothing at this open air shopping mall, but, it can be a beautiful spot to gather a few staple pieces to be worn and loved for years to come. My favorite stops are Paige, Rag and Bone and Free People, but from sporty to preppy to upscale, they have something for all tastes. If like me, you're not traveling in a vehicle, it's easy to get around. Every now and then, it's nice to stroll through the Scottsdale Quarter. My wife and I occasionally make it to a meal or to shop or even play at the Quarter (or yes, a stroll). I also sometimes meet up with friends or family or even head there on my own for errands. There's something for everyone and plenty to see and do; however, a lot of my favorite stores and restaurants have closed and been replaced over the years. The Scottsdale Quarter is known for some great restaurants. While there are some upscale and casual restaurants there, my favorites include Grimaldi's for pizza, Jeni's for ice cream, and Fox restaurants like True Food and Culinary Dropout. There are also many other restaurants across the street at the nearby Scottsdale Kierland. There are also plenty of shops from upscale shops to more casual ones like Bath & Body Works. My favorite stores are the Apple Store (for me) or It's Sugar (for gifts for others or a quick sugary snack). There is even a Lego store opening soon. I miss the Amazon bookstore that used to be in the Scottsdale Quarter. Similar to the restaurants, there are many shops across the street at the Scottsdale Kierland. There are also experiences from the splash pad and activities around the splash pad throughout the year to miniature golf at Putt Shack or a movie at the Landmark Scottsdale Quarter Theatre. There are also occasionally visiting exhibits that find a seasonal home at the Scottsdale Quarter like Candytopia. While stores and restaurant hours may vary, the hours are typically 11 AM to 8 PM daily except for Sundays from 12 noon to 6 PM. There are three free parking structure and then valet. While enjoying a nice walk after dinner my husband and I got something thrown on us from above twice which seemed like a jello slime. The first one was a blue jello like substance and the second one was an orange jello like substance. When we looked up no one could be seen because there is a wall to hide behind. We called security and they said they had a previous complaint of someone throwing tomatoes from the parking garage down on the street. This is unacceptable behavior and disgusting. We will never be back! So disappointed especially with our first visit to Scottsdale! read more

This is one of my favorites places to visit during the holidays. Scottsdale Quarter is a beautiful outdoor shopping center that is home to more than 80 retail shops and restaurants. The center part with the fountain (called The Quad) is so beautiful around Christmas. They have lights everywhere and a spot for photos with Santa. I'm a big Yeti guy and was pleased to find out they have a store here at Scottsdale Quarter. They also have a large Apple store out front. This is a one-stop destination with luxury apartments nearby. There is parking next to the retail shops and in the parking garages. Across the street is Kierland Commons if you want to continue your shopping experience. read more

The Scottsdale Quarter is a clean, outdoor mall with very thin streets and a variety of nice looking shops and a theater as well as apartments. In the middle is a water fountain contraption that you see little kids and families playing in. There's mom 'n pop restaurants, a suit store, and even a furniture store in here. There's street parking but it's usually full but what I love is that there's multiple free parking garages at the edges of this outdoor mall. read more

A nice place for dining, shopping and fun. The layout of streets is fun and parking is fairly ample. We dined here and saw a couple of more touristy shops so we came back the next day for a couple of Phoenix souvenirs. There are shops here that clearly cater to the locals and others that cater to the tourists. Not a bad mix. During the day there were guides handing out literature and pointing you in the right direction. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I've never had such bad customer service, went on August 25 at approximately 6:30 PM. There was a huge storm with a weather alert and I just finished working out right there so I went to pick up my phone as I didn't want to drive in the storm.The store was pretty much empty and there were nine associates in the front just standing there while one guy was handling pick up items. I asked if one of them could help him because there were six of us there waiting, I asked very nicely too as I hate confrontation, but this was ridiculous. There was a short pudgy man with a beard who seemed to be the head of the sales people (the group of them were standing there like a teenage wanna be boy gang lol) he was so rude and proceeded to tell me that none of them could help the guy in the back~it wasn't their job. Then he proceeded to walk me back to hang out with the other people who were waiting there.We were all flabbergasted. That's the only word I can think of to describe it. I felt so bad for the guy handling pick ups, it was so upsetting, he was so nice and helpful. I use a lot of Apple products, but after this, I am thoroughly disgusted, will never return to that store. As T.Swift says NEVER EVER! read more

Great outdoor shopping option in the Scottsdale area! There are modern stores and ample parking. I love that you can also walk across to the Kierland Commons for more shopping and there is a crosswalk in the middle for convenience. There is a mix of retail and dining and usually a fun pop up in the middle near the splash pad. Last week, the Hello Kitty Cafe truck stopped by which was a treat! Scottsdale Quarter is one of my favorite shopping areas to frequent when I am back in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. read more

This shopping center is HUGE. It's like several blocks huge. They've got lots of different stores - Lululemons, Express, Fabletics, Yeti, etc. There are also fast and casual restaurants too - Beard Papa, Boba, etc. I saw a few full bars and restaurants too. RH being one of them. We decided to stop a few hours before our flight, but I wish we had more time! You could easily walk around for hours. We saw a lot of families and teenagers walking around too. I love this place! It's great for a quiet stroll or going gaga over the expensive cars that roar by. You can go shopping, eat a bag full of candy or eat at any of the delicious restaurants, like True Foods, Zenburger, or Grimaldi's. In the summer months, you'll see mothers and children running through the sprinklers, and sometimes it's transformed into a movie theatre. I genuinely love this place! read more

This place is on the newer side of shopping for me in Scottsdale. It's literally across the street from Kierland shopping and has some nice higher end stores to shop at with amazing food. They have zinburger here, which I love, along with a pizza place and an Amazon bookstore! yes! The food is fantastic here. They are opening a Culinary Dropout restaurant, if it hasn't already opened here yet already. Parking here is easy. You can park on the street which is free, or go into the parking garage like I did and park your car and walk from there. The garage is free too, so either way it's a win! You can also do valet, but it wasn't open when I was there. I love the variety of stores they have here to shop at. You can go to H&M, a luggage store, a few bathing suit places and a some nice higher end clothing stores for women and men. I did as many stores as I could that I was interested in, and didn't feel pressured to buy anything. The mall is mostly outdoors, with plenty of benches to sit at along with shade trees to block the sun. Also, go check out the coffee shop that's here as well. It was super busy when I was there and I ended up getting an iced coffee and people watched for a few minutes while the weather was still cool. I think they also have outdoor music here as well? I saw some people setting up across the way to play. I couldn't tell but it looked cool. If you are at Kierland, hop across the street and check this place out. read more

I absolutely love Kendra Scott jewelry. It looks very classy, and I love the color selection that they have. I now own several pieces and love each, and every one of them. My only issue is that every time I enter into the store, I feel like I am looked at based off of my age, and how I look. I had gone in today looking for an initial necklace that my boyfriend is looking to get me. One of the workers in there looked at me and didn't say anything and looked annoyed then redirected her age to an older women behind me and proceeded to see if she needed anything. It's just shame to be judged in a store that I love. Just because I'm dressed for comfort doesn't mean I can't afford something there . I will still return I just hope to be treated the same was as the 60 year old wearing her Louis Vuitton's. read more

I visited yesterday and had a great lunch at True Food Kitchen. However, while visiting several shops, I noticed a severe decline in overall friendliness, assistance and welcome by store employees since my last several visits. The only stores that shined were Peter Millar and Vans and much improved and friendlier Press coffee. The stores visited where I witnessed the most decline in friendliness were Sephora, Apple, and Yeti. This downward trend is very alarming and concerning to me. read more

Tons of awesome shops! Lots of places to find amazing items. The stores are more on the high end with a few exceptions. There is a wide variety of shopping. The kids will enjoy it as well because there is a huge open area for them to run around. Christmas season is wonderful because they have a Santa station and tons of decorations. Why would I take my family to an outdoor type shopping center that refuses to turn their misters on? It's too hot during the summer. They used to have them on during the hottest months. I wonder how their businesses are dealing with losing money when people won't sit on their patios. It's a shame. The parking "tickets" are ridiculous. You want us to drive there and drink at the establishments that pay you rent but we get a "ticket" if we leave our car overnight. Does anyone else agree that the property isn't being properly taken care of? It's dirty. Parking garage looks run down. The whole damn place needs to be power washed. read more

Before the whole COVID-19 shutdowns happened, my family and I were lucky enough to have a short vacation in Phoenix. We stayed right across from Scottsdale Quarter and had the chance to visit it twice. On the first visit we got a new sweater for our daughter from H&M and perused all the needless things at Pottery Barn. The next day my daughter and I got blowouts at Drybar while my husband grabbed a beer at a nearby restaurant. We had such a great time together and then walked around at a few shops before enjoying happy hour pizzas and wine. There are so many great brand name stores that if you're a shopaholic you could easily spend your entire day here. Scottsdale quarter gets an almost perfect rating. I enjoy the layout, it's relatively clean most of the time and situated very close to everything. I love that onsite you have many EV charging options and Tesla supercharging specifically. Great food and shopping, and expansion is typically done in a well thought out manner without sacrificing the ambience originally intended. Summers are a bit tough here being an outdoor mall, but if you're here during summer you already know what you're getting yourself into let's be honest. 5/5 stars but let's be real, all "malls" have room for improvement and this one, might be small maintenance items over time but that's about it! It's popular for a multitude of good reasons. It's home to many popular staple stores: Yeti, Peloton, Sephora, Apple, WestElm, Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn...lots of clothing stores, like Paige, lululemon. It's one of the main outdoor high-end shopping centers in North Scottsdale and is directly across the street from Kierland Commons. Lots of food options: new lobster roll place, sushi, TrueFood, pizza, Mexican, Italian, burgers...something for everyone. The main event for anyone catering to children is the splash park - smack in the middle of the center outlined by palm trees. It's gorgeous! And kids and adults alike can walk barefoot and cool off. Grab some candy at Sugar (mere steps away from the water) and a lemonade and plan to spend an hour gleefully watching your kid live their best life running and splashing in one of the most picturesque places in The Valley. It's clean, well-maintained. Easily accessible by car - 2 parking garages on either side. They often have public events: concerts, yoga, mama & kid play dates. If you are meeting someone here, add at least 10 minutes if you want to meet on time due to parking and walking. I'm grieving losing Amazon bookstore and the American Girl store. It also housed the interactive and super delicious Candytopia (just before COVID shutdown everything). read more

Scottsdale Quarter is my favorite outdoor mall in the Phoenix area. It's designed to have the vibes of being it's own little city. When I'm at the Quarter I feel like I'm transported to another city. Great vibes, great set up, and beautiful outdoor areas to enjoy between the stores and restaurants. I normally go in fall and winter. I work across the street and only walk to the Quarter if I feel I'm on top of my game. As a pedestrian, I've seen drivers blow through the solid red light in the crosswalk on Scottsdale Road many times. And, clearly the flashing red, which I believe means stop and proceed with caution, doesn't mean much either. So I feel a need to be psych, to play "Frogger" with the cars. Getting into my car and driving three hundred yards doesn't seem to make any sense given the dearth of parking here. We like to come to the Quarter because of the HH at Brio and shopping at Pottery Barn. West Elm is an interesting twist on the same concept and I like to window shop inside the Apple store. Our family usually heads to H&M and Sephora next door, while I'm at my electronic toy store. We've hit a few of the restaurants. Coal Burger is now gone, but it was okay. The pizza is very good at Girmaldi's and the yogurt place on the corner is also good. The MiniBar-ber wasn't bad either and they give you a nice hair cut. I love the coffee at Press Roasters because it reminds me of the northwest. We've haven't tried Restoration Hardware yet, since they moved across in their new incarnation of themselves. Superb area for a day of shopping, a movie, and noshing I'm an admitted fan of Scottsdale Quarter due to the cool blend of businesses they have. My wife and I occasionally make it a special when our girls are in school and we happen to have to vacation time we need to burn. The iPic is on the east part of the campus that stretches across N Scottsdale Rd. On the west end is the Westin Kierland. In between are tons of shops, excellent dining, ice cream, common areas with water features, and even music lounges. Heck, for Christmas, there is even a horse and carriage decked out for the holidays like in New York! You'll enjoy the experience. People even live there as part of the mixed-use, neo-urbanism neighborhood. design. That gives a cool 24-hour vibe. Only knocks: 1) It is less fun during the summer heat as the SQ is an outdoor mall; 2) There are some snooty people around that are really impressed with themselves, their ungodly expensive cars, and their rich attire with jewelry (you catch some complaints that a truly first-world problems-- e.g., "the spa wasn't relaxing and should have paid me to go this morning" and "Lulu did a poor yoga class this morning and they need to hire people at [some place I don't know]"; and 3) The Apple store there is still the worst one for service in Phoenix-metro. I love this outdoor mall. When I want to make an H&M trip I always come here. It also houses, Sol, a favorite happy hour margarita spot for my friend and I and regular outdoor family activities like movies on the mall. It's a mecca of "basic" stores so when I need my lululemon, Nike, west elm, apple, etc. fixes after eating at true foods or watching and iPic movie I go here, and yes it's a lot. You can also walk across to Kierland to continue eating and shopping. The biggest downside is that parking and traffic is a nightmare. Just go into the garages and drive til you find one. There's also a nice selection of stores and boutiques, including those with clothing, jewelry, and home decor. Scottsdale Quarter is one of my favorite places to visit during the holidays because they really go all out with their lighting and decor! The Christmas tree is beautifully lit, and all the surrounding palm trees are lit up as well.
