Scheduled a detailing online on the website for the next day, and called to get more details on how to drop off but was told by the Alex (who I think is the owner) that the website was not fully functioning and the online scheduler was not up to date. Alex was extremely nice and I felt honest, and decided it was not a big deal given it's a local business with glowing reviews. Rescheduled for the following Thursday with the agreed to plan to drop off my car at 7am and I'd pick up at closing. My thought was to give the maximum flexibility. Alex on the phone said that was no problem but to just call him if we were running late as he had business with other dealerships and needed to leave around 7:30am so would not be able to see the vehicle and tell me in person to give a more accurate quote. I told him on the phone not to worry as I would take him at his word whenever he saw the vehicle, but said I would call if I was running late. On the day of the appointment we were running a few minutes late as had to pick up the car from my mom's place. So around 6:50am I called as we were literally in the car heading to the store but would reach probably ten minutes after 7. Alex picked up and didn't appear to remember I had an appointment .. again, being a small business, didn't think twice. What shocked me though was his irrational explanation after hearing that I'm running about 10 minutes late (I clarified that point as I thought he may have misheard) that he'd have to charge for an extra hour. I tried to ask how this made sense given I was dropping the car off but he rudely explained how he had such a tight schedule, etc. From the glowing reviews on Yelp and Google, I'm confident this shop does good work. I guess you just need to be lucky enough to be treated as someone who they want business from. Canceled the appointment and will find another detailing shop. read more

EH, went back, $550 cash for a detail job, looks like they cleaned the windows with a greasy rag. Calling around tomorrow to a detail shop for another interior detail for the windows. Honestly, the windows were the driving reason I did it. Won't be back. BTW, the first time I let it go, it's now been 2 times and the interior detail is horrible. read more

Ok job but nothing spectacular. I have had better detailing for better pricing. Also quoted me less than they ended up charging me which was odd considering my car was not in bad shape but since they knew i had a gift card they made sure to deplete it without doing anything extra as discussed. Make sure you remove everything from your car first or they'll just shove it in the trunk causing damage. Also make sure you have everything before leaving like Floor mats. CLOSED to the public. They moved to 199 Diversey in Elmhurst. No sign on the building. Per Matthew they only take dealership cars for buffing, etc. I am going to miss this place! They used to the the most through interior cleaning! read more

I can honestly say this place is great all around. For what that rip-off place Fueller's charges for a car wash and wax you can get an ENTIRE detailing. My black camry looked like new (literally) after they wash and polished the exterior and cleaned the seats and shampooed the carpets. I guess they do a lot of the dealships in Elmhurst so they know what to do. :) read more

I just got "touched by Scotty." After researching a few places and looking at Yelp I went to Scotty's Car Wash. They may not see me often, but I WILL be back! My car looks like it just got a wonderful massage. They did what I was told they would do and value is well worth the price. MY CAR LOOKS GREAT. Please take your car there. It will love you for it. Finally, an Auto-Detailing place that does detailing!!! I have had both my cars detail her twice and they do an excellent job. They actually get the stains off the upolstry and the scuffs off the console and side doors!!!! Nobody else does this!!! And the other places charge more $$ read more

Very poor job!! Dashboard full of dust & dirt. Vents full of dust and dirt. They didn't wash the carpet - they just vacuumed it. The engine compartment was left nearly as dirty as it was before the "detailed" it - easily removable dirt and grease was left untouched. They maybe put some cheap wax but it appears the buffer never made contact with the paint. They charged more than other shops. read more
