Dryers work amazing since most dried each load within 12 minutes. The prices are very reasonable. Payment method for the machines is through a card system, which is very easy to reload and use. They have various carts to help load/unload. In addition, various tables to fold available. Wish they had more chairs available. Location 6/10. Semi sketchy area and parking is kind of difficult. There's the bare minimum for laundry, washing machines and dryers and not enough carts. The folding tables could use some upgrading and the whole place could also use remodeling. I came here to wash our comforters and blankets that are too big for the washer at home. Bring a book or play games on your phone, cuz waiting it the downside of using these laundry places. read more

Scotty's is a great option because they not only have plenty of machines size variety, but they also have the option for wash & fold services. I feel like it's easy for me to get in & out of here in no time. Plus, they have cards you can preload money onto so that you don't need to rely on quarters to pay. I did my laundry for the first time at Scotty's this week and what a pleasant experience it was! The laundromat is very clean and the washers and dryers work great ! I met the owner and what a lovely lady she is. She was helpful and very humble. She made me feel like she was grateful for my business. I choose this laundromat because they always have large washers and dryers available and they don't seem to have too many issues with any of the machines. I have never had any issues with my laundry being stolen here but if you have had problems with that in the past then maybe you would want to consider giving their wash and fold service a try. Mexican lady was so sure Sunday at 11am when I came it. Asked for change because of a small rip in the dollar. She said no. Then I tried to machine and she made a big deal about it. I'm here for my daughters soccer tournament and the hotel I stayed at didn't have working laundry service so I came here to wash her soccer uniform. Stayed over the weekend on a business trip and needed to do some laundry and found Scotty's thru Yelp vs using the hotel. All reviews were spot on. I dropped my stuff off for the wash and fold service. 24 hours later I had my clean and folded clothes back. Also got the discount for being a first time customer so my weeks worth was $15.75. This is a review of the wash and fold service only. First of all, this place is cash-only. I wasn't told when I dropped off so I had to run to the grocery next door to get some cash when I came back to pick up my clothes. The sign says drop off by 10 AM and pick up by 5 PM. In my case I was told it would be ready by the next morning. No big deal but I was confused When you drop off, they will note down any special instructions you have (no bleach, use softener, etc.). Be specific...she asked if I wanted to have my whites washed separately from my color clothes. I would think that's standard operating procedure. The price is $1.25 / pound which is on par with other options in the area. They didn't weigh the clothes but I had done so at home so I had an idea of how many pounds were there, and the price when I picked up matched my estimate. If you're uncomfortable with not knowing you should ask them to weigh the clothes when dropping off. Minor nitpicking aside, they did a great job and the clothes were clean and very neatly folded. Update: Sandy had me call her to discuss what happened. I told her the cost of my medication due to the incident and the cost of the consultation with my doctor due to the contact dermatitis I experienced from them not following our washing instructions. She made sure to offset the cost of the original cleaning to cover the bills. She also did her best to right what went wrong and rewashed everything and had it ready the same day free of charge. I raised my score of the business from 1-4 stars mainly because of her willingness to try to help. Yes it doesn't change what happened, but there wasn't much else she could do to cover her employees major error. Original post: Went here for the first time last week to have our clothes cleaned after our home dryer broke. We provided our own detergent because I am highly allergic to perfumes and dyes. We told them not to use any of their products especially dryer sheets and fabric softener. When we brought home the clothes they all had a slight perfume scent. We weren't sure if it was just scent because of being in a facility that uses chemicals on other clothes or if it was because they didn't follow our instructions. Today I'm in agonizing pain and itching all over after putting on the newly washed clothes for the first time. When digging through the laundry basket I found a dryer sheet. Luckily I have my annual dermatologist appointment this week so I can get relief if this doesn't clear up quickly. I am pissed and in pain. This is the same as going to a restaurant and telling them that you have a food allergy and them using the ingredient you are deathly allergic to. If you have allergies or any special requests, I recommend you avoid this place at all costs. read more

Always wash clothes here, this place has brand new washers and dryers. Also is one of the cheapest places around Sunnyvale. It does have it's fair share of bums roaming around, but they are friendly and don't usually ask for money. read more

Always come here cause it's conveniently close to home and because our washer doesn't fit my king comforter lol. The staff here is nice and helpful. Most weekends it's busy during Noon and tapers off after that. I haven't tried the wash n fold service yet but will one day. I never did a Wash and Fold service before but this place is close to my work so I decided to try it out. My puppy soaked my fluffly, white comforter all the way down to my mattress protector and I did not know you are NOT supposed to wash big comforters in regular, home-sized washing machines... I dried it as best as I could but since I am so busy, I went to use the W&F service Scotty's offers. I dropped off my items around 7:30PM and the person said I could pick them up around the same time tomorrow. What was amazing though is that when I got off work around 3PM the next day, all my items were already done and ready for pick up which saved me from going back and forth from SJ to Sunnyvale! The ladies that worked with me were kind Filipinos and were very catering to my needs. They also gave me 10% off since it was my first time. The best thing about them is how good your fabrics will smell afterwards. I could never get my laundry to smell that good or last that long and it was bliss sleeping in good smelling, clean covers! read more

This was my go to laundry place because It's cheap and the machines work super good. The place is also super clean. Unfortunately, i won't be coming here anymore because of the staff. There is a lady who works here and is always ina mood. I have never had a problem until today where I feel I was being harrassed. I went in to ask her if she has change for a $50 bill. She had an attitude with me and said no. I went next door to the liquor store. Bought something and got my bill changed. I came back and proceeded to change my bills into coins. She comes up to me and asks " are you gonna wash here" i said " yes". She asked " where are your clothes" i said " in the car". She then proceededbto tell me I had to unload my clothes first and then get coins. I told her i would get my clothes after I had exchanged the bills. She continued to give me attitude and get closer to my face. I felt she was gonna grab my arm so I told her I was gonna wash somewhere else because her attitude wasn't right. I've done my own laundry here once and paid for wash and fold several times. I'm so happy to have found a place that makes wash and fold an affordable option for me. I'm very fussy and often end up refolding my clothes, but they do a good job. And I'm sensitive to scents, but I like the smell of the laundry soap they use. The laundromat is not exactly shiny and new, but it's reasonably clean. It's in a busy little strip mall in a poor, working-class neighborhood. This place is very clean and the owner is there to assist you, he's very friendly. You'll see him sweeping and cleaning around the washers while you're there. However, not all the washers worked. There were only 4-5 small washing machines that were all being used so then you're forced to wait or use a large washer. There isnt much space to sit at and its very busy in there. I been going to this place for years. They have 4 tables with a top self for folding, New machine they got like 2-3 years ago. There is an attendant on the premise. They sell soap and the other stuff and have bags. Free coffee and WiFi. Staff is super friendly. The place is very clean including the restroom. The have clean working baskets. You can tell there is a lot of pride here with the way they care for this place. A couple of really good Mexican places in the same plaza. 7-11 across the street. Great find! The wash and fold service has been a life saver. The clothes are impeccably folded, and smell great. They will even use your detergent if you have a specific one you like. Been here once to wash and dry two sleeping bags. The big front-load washers are $4.75 a load, but they're quite big. The huge dryers are 25 cents for 3 minutes. I think the regular sized dryers are 25 cents for 7 minutes. The guy who works there walked around at least every 10 minutes to see if anyone needed help and to ask how it was going. He was very friendly. He offered to get me a cart for my stuff and to help me carry my load out to my car. The place is clean and everything seemed to be in working order. No complaints. read more

I love this place.. Its in a little strip mall . I started using this place when my washer broke and the one i wanted took about a month to get. I use the wash and fold service. Its totally inexpensive and easy drop off and pickup. They have quick turn around. I love the way they fold my clothes so all i have to do is come home and put everything away. I am giving this place a 3 star as I only used wash machine. I thought it was a great! I took my large comforter and paid $4.25. I was told that the dryer cost 25 cents equals a certain amount minutes. The lady told me that for my blanket I would probably need to use $1.25. She was very nice and helpful. It close to my apartment but I never get any hot water for my towels or sheets even though I put water temperature on hot.This happens all the time .The owners are to cheap to put proper hot waters heaters to heat the water.I do not recommend this laundry mat .Laundry mats should have hot water. read more
