We were very late in checking in, and the owners stayed to welcome me. That really shows they care about their business and they are professional and friendly. If you were going on a fishing expedition, this would be a very good option as it has several amenities: fish freezers, a LARGE outdoor jacuzzi (clean and HOT!), most cabins have kitchens, and it even has a canoe for communal use (they have new lifejackets in variety of sizes.) I didn't bring my computer, but they also have wireless. I brought a DVD, but unfortunately my room didn't have a DVD player. They have satellite cable with flatscreen tvs. My room was small, but the linens were very comfy and the price was very low; I feel I got an excellent value. It looks like they have great options for both small and big parties. A large group could rent a whole house, and they have private, 2-person cabins for those on a quiet getaway. I would definitely stay here again.

There's a fire pit outside as well as a picnic table and grill for each cabin. There's a porch facing the Cook Inlet and the beautiful mountains. We saw a moose when we turned off Sterling Highway the first night. There's a juvenile eagle that loves to fly between the cabins to perch on the bluffs. He posed nicely for photos. It is SO quiet, but we're here just a little ahead of the busy season. We've thoroughly enjoyed the solitude. The bed is super comfortable. The internet connection is good (and fast, starlink, I think). This is THE place to stay!

Kaven has been going for 13 years and invited me this year. He has stayed A LOT of different places in Alaska and has chosen Bill's place for the past 5 years...an EXCELLENT choice! The people, amenities, view, EVERYTHING about this place is SUPERB! Even Bill! :-) Bill's wife, Ogie...crazy! I love it! She is the most happiest person I have ever met and makes you feel at home. Warning...she dances around even with NO MUSIC! The Kenai River was approximately 26 steps from the door of my two story cabin. Eagles and fish...everywhere! I cannot say enough great things about this place, I truly do not have the words. If you want an excellent place to hang your hat while in Alaska between Anchorage and Homer...this is the place! Warning #2-Book fast as I already booked for next year! I've been to all 58 states and 4 continents, this was my direct quote to the gang on the morning we were leaving and they will verify, "Y'all, I'm not going back with y'all.
