Ordered breakfast from here through GrubHub have to say corn beef hash was disappointing very small portion barely even warmed up. Potatoes were covered in raw green onions, which was odd and I'm not a fan of that. Also, no jam sent for the toast which you usually would get with most breakfast places. My girlfriend had the bacon scramble which she said was decent, but overall neither of us were very happy. Pancakes were soft with the syrup was very artificial. At 24 bucks for the corned beef hash with the pancake upgrade I just expected more. read more

Came on a Saturday for lunch and got seated immediately. The interior had classic diner vibes. Vegetable Omelette - Super filling with tons of veggies inside! I added avocado. The omelette could have been salted a bit more but they provided salt and pepper shakers on the table. Comes with house potatoes. These also could have been salted a bit more. I loved how they cut the shape of the potato, making it more crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This also comes with a side of toast. The staff were friendly and attentive and our food came out pretty timely. There's loads of parking out front too which is a huge plus. Really enjoyed my experience here! read more

Taste. 4/5. Price: 17$ for this chorizo egg burrito and hash brown. It's about two ketchup packets long and 1 ketchup packet wide. Loosely wrapped so it looks bigger. Rediculous portion for your money. This is the supposed hearty man's breakfast. The menue on Postmates said heaping portion of potatoes, choice of 6 sausages, 6 Bacons, etc. The sad reality is only 4 sausage links, the included sour dough toast was barely tosted, and given the butt end of the bread. This place is a great find! Super friendly, welcoming atmosphere and the food is phenomenal. Listened to our special requests and the order was perfect. Our server was so on top of it and he never forgot a thing we told him, despite being the only server. Would 100% recommend. The side of fruit is really unlike any I've ordered at a breakfast place. First time trying this cute little cafe and I would definitely recommend! The waitress was very welcoming and attentive. I ordered the breakfast burrito and my partner ordered the hungry mans plate and we both devoured! The food was hot and steamy and sooo flavorful. It truly felt like it was a homemade breakfast. Every Sunday we use to go to Scramblez after church. Always friendly service.Then covid hit and we stopped going.Recently while my husband and I went on vacation the kids (adults) door dashed from here and raved about how good the food was but expensive. Brings us to today. We call in an order and a lovely gentleman picks up, I believe his name was Jim.We ordered Chorizo and eggs, hash browns and pancakes, French toast and I order the California Eggs Benedict. We took our time to get there and the courteous gentleman called to confirm we placed our order at the correct location because there's 2 places in the AV. That was so nice of him to call us and tell us our order was ready too.We head on in and it's clean and smells delicious. We're greeted by Jim who goes over our order and our total was something like $49.00 plus we gave them a $10.00 tip. Now the food,The California Eggs Benedict was delicious! It sat there a while because we don't live to close but the flavor of the hollandaise sauce soaked into the bread (English muffin) the egg was perfect topped with bacon and avocado. It came with home style potatoes but I gave those to the kids. My daughter had the French toast and she said it was the best she's ever had. The butter was so good and it came with hash browns. My son had the chorizo and he said this place is the only one to ever get it right. Just like he likes it! Can't wait to go back! I took a pic of the daily specials. read more

First time trying this restaurant for breakfast. There was ample parking. The area wasn't busy at all. The restaurant was set in a quiet plaza. The service was great and fast. The food was delicious and hit the spot. I had the corned beef hash, country potatoes, eggs, and pancakes. Everything was flavorful! The food was served within 15 min of ordering. BEST breakfast ever . But let's get back to that in a minute I would like to give a shout out to all the waitresses and waiters there they have outstanding service and always make sure that there is fresh coffee in a mug for when we walk in. Now onto the food the food is amazing they have so many different varieties of different things you can get I strongly suggest trying a little bit of everything I have not had any bad experience with any of my breakfast dishes or my lunch dishes if I choose to get lunch which most of the time is always breakfast because it's so good. It's one of those little hidden gems right off of one of those side streets I believe it's 9th Street East in Palmdale if you're looking for a good restaurant spot give it a try You won't be disappointed read more

A nice little quaint cafe Perfect for a quick tasty bite, staff is welcoming and always refilling your drink. I had their breakfast skillet, and I'm still craving it days later. First time trying, this place ambience was OK, food was passable for me, and my point of view it needed better flavor, and then mostly the food that we got was wasn't cooked all the way, the pancakes were partially raw. I feel bad for the server because he was the only one working out of 8 people in the restaurant and he had a deal with the pick ups. Overall this place is OK. I don't know if I would go back. I'm still gonna try other cafes, but if all the other Cafe' close, then maybe I would go back. read more

I use to come here a lot my last pregnancy years ago for the omlettes and muffin french toast. We went here a few weekends ago I noticed people that came in after us got there food first which wasn't a big deal to me but as we stayed to eat our food the server eventually came around and made a comment about us stalling ? Idk what he meant by that when we literally got our food later than people who came in after us. read more

Scramblez in Palmdale has, hands down, amazing and tasty breakfast and lunch items! I've tried their California eggs Benedict, everything omelette, chilli cheese fries and chilaquiles (both red and green) with eggs over easy! All of their food is always fresh and warm! The wait time for food is always less than 10 minutes. Their waiters are very attentive and easy going! Highly recommend! They do close at 2pm and they take orders over the phone until 1:30pm. Ambiance is very homie and I've seen that they are pet friendly. Try them out! read more

Yelp lead us to Scramblez and it did not disappoint - it's across from a park in Downtown Palmdale. Friendly and quick service and reasonable prices (at least for California). The egg/sausage/bacon and country potatoes were delicious. It was definitely worth a stop driving from So Cal up to the Bay Area. read more

The place could do a little better on maintenance because it does look like it's starting to look "run down," but I will say that the 50s diner theme looks pleasing. The theme gives off a Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe vibe (from Riverdale), and I dig it. Their food is pretty much your typical American diner food, and they were really good. Loved the omelettes. What stood out to me though were the pancakes. They were so soft and fluffy; I literally couldn't stop thinking about them well after our meal. So if I could leave a tip... order pancakes! read more

No kerb appeal here but a warm welcome inside and breakfast cooked with care. I had a simple cheese quesadilla, hot and tasty, with sour cream and salsa. OH enjoyed his eggs with hash browns and bacon crisped up just the way he likes it. My only gripe - the menu was wayyyy too long, I'm sure they could half the dishes available and still please everyone. read more

Scramblez has the worst costumer service. The girl that answers the phone put me on hold in the middle of me ordering claiming she "couldn't hear me" but when I called back she had my order just fine. I don't understand why ppl work in costumer service and food but always have an attitude towards the customers. Just terrible service and I would not recommend going there. read more

I asked for a refund. In a restaurant there are three very important things that you have to fulfill: CLEANING, GOOD FOOD AND GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Part of the good customer service is a restaurant with AC running where the temperatures outside are over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

The biscuits,before being sliced, were about 4 inches high, light and fluffy, and delicious. They were covered with a good amount of gravy. There was plenty of parking in this lot. The entrance is located through their patio, which can be a bit counter intuitive. We came at opening and the restaurant got really busy during our time there. Initially we were looking at the sandwiches because it was lunch time, but then we were going to a wedding that night so we decided to eat something more filling since the ceremony and speeches always delay the eating. All entrees here are served with black beans and rice or congri, and 3 fried plantains. My boyfriend had the Ropa Vieja ($28) with the congri and I had the Lechon Asado ($25) with the rice and beans. Our food came out pretty fast after we ordered. My boyfriend's Ropa Vieja is a Cuban braised beef. The congri is basically a mix of the rice and beans. This dish was super tasty and the shredded beef was so tender with the bell peppers and onions. I can really taste the red wine and tomato sauce in the base. I took a few bites but in general I preferred my dish more, and vis versa he enjoyed his dish more. My lechon asado is a roasted pork that is super super tenderrrrrr. It was so sweet with the grilled onions and it had the perfect amount of fattiness without being over bearing. SO GOOD! Love the plaintains too. I'm glad I got the rice and beans option because I would have gotten too full too quick with the congri. I barely touched my beans and only got through half of my rice. Both dishes came with this super tasty garlic butter sauce that I poured on my rice and made it even tastier. It was so good. One thing I didn't enjoy about the experience was the flies attacking us and our food. Since the door is open and connected to their outdoor space, it leaves the opportunities for flies to come in. We had to play defense with the flies the whole time. The service here is a little slow. Especially when I was trying to get back on the road I wasn't feeling too patient. I waived down multiple staff members too. Also I got hit with an undisclosed 3% surcharge for using my credit card. I only found out after I got the receipt. I would have paid in cash if I knew. *dislike* LOVE LOVE LOVE the food. Might be the best Cuban food I've ever had... and I've been to Florida where there was a lot of Cuban spots. Room for improvement with service, flies prevention, and the disclosure of the credit card fee.

The food quality is spectacular! I always get the Baracoa Cubano sandwich and it never disappoints. The ingredients are fresh and organic with each dish I've ordered. Since I have allergies to ingredients used to preserve frozen food, it's always been so hard finding a restaurant with a menu that doesn't cause me issues--and Baracoa has never compromised with their ingredients! The organic quality of their food is something you'll taste on your first bite. And finally--the service is impeccable and I have yet to see such excellent hospitality at any restaurant I've visited, even in Los Angeles! The waiters are always kind, attentive, and energetic with their behavior and service. It's very easy to tell they love the work they do and it shows in their work ethic. In addition to that, the managers are always making sure we're having an excellent night and have transformed it to a level of service we've never seen! My parents and I went a week ago and talked to Daniel the Manager about how much we missed a Piña Colada from a closed restaurant which would make it in the pineapple itself--and he said if we promised to be there in a week he's make it himself. We came on Friday, and the joy that my family felt was palpable when Daniel came out with the drinks we've wished for years now since that restaurant closed! Honestly, I've never heard of someone caring for their guests so much to do that--truly everyone should visit this establishment and experience true fine dining. I don't think I'll ever eat anywhere else for a special occasion ever again.
