We didn't realize that the guest shower had an issue with leaking (more like flooding ) under the door until we had a guest. A couple of handymen looked at the problem & said it could be costly to fix. One suggested calling a glass company that installed glass doors before spending $$$. Made sense. I called Desert Star, explained the issue & I thought it would take forever & $$$ to get someone out for this small job. Soon after, Reese, Desert Star installation supervisor called, came out, gave us his analysis ( which made sense), said HE'd be back the same day to fix the issue. He kept his word & the next day when I used the shower - the problem was fixed!!! Keep in mind, this is a glass company that does large custom installations. Reese was professional, caring, neat and efficient even on our small job. We are retired business owners and this small job will eventually lead to bigger ones. Reese is awesome & would trust he'd get any future jobs done well.

Had a bathtub installed this Spring in the Master Bathroom. They began the job in a reasonable…read moreamount of time, but then there were repeated delays. Always seemed to be a good reason: need to schedule the plumber, need to have the cement dry, etc. But these reasonable delays added months before the job was completed. Then, there was a rush to finish the job; rather than level the floor with quick-dry cement, they put in a few of the unused floor planks. The floor is soft there but the tub hides the problem. But the very disappointing thing is their attempts now to collect $800 above their bid quote. Repeated attempts -- telephone and emails -- have not resulted in any response. Telephone calls go to voicemail--no response to emails. I'm waiting for an explanation for the overcharge before I make payment.

No one answering the phone during business hours - maybe a red flag? Guy told me to call them back the next day and didn't sound happy. No offer to call me back like a customer service minded place would - maybe the next red flag? Called the guy back at the phone number he called from, left a voicemail again, no response. Called the business line again during business hours, of course, no one answered. Never heard from anyone. May be a small business posing as a bigger business. Either way poor customer service generally equals poor quality service.
