Customer service was terrible after they received our money and that was before installation. Still needing the original adjustments and they fail to follow through. I would not use them on my next custom home. What good are expensive bi-fold doors if you can't get them adjusted so you can open up the back and of your home. read more

Highly recommend you do your due diligence first. This was such a mistake going with this company. They are terrible at responding, the quality is the worst. I've ever seen the latches keep breaking on my door. The pain to continues to have issues in bubble I would 100% NOT recommend this company. Not only is the company terrible so is there installer, I would personally stay far far away I would never use either of these companies. After a rough start with communications and followup, they really came through on our pivot door and installation. Once the door was installed, we had some issues with it. We were assured they would all be taken care of. Apparently, we "fell through the cracks" but we finally had Destry come out and completely refurb the door. He really has pride in his work and made sure we were happy with the final product. The result is great! read more

We've bought iron doors from multiple companies in Utah. In the last 7 years, Iron Door Works doors have had the least amount of issues and they seem to hold up significantly better than their competitors. We definitely haven't come across any of the issues that other people have posted here which is why I'm writing this review. We've always been told that lead time is 16-22 weeks with 1-3 weeks on top for installation; we've never had a door arrive later than that time frame. We'll keep recommending Iron Door Works to all our clients so we don't have to worry about a million little issues that come with other companies. read more

We have used Iron Door Works twice now. The first time was great, no problems. The second time was terrible in terms of service, quality and value. We purchased two doors, front and back. The trim had changed and has no dimension. It is a wide flat board that goes all around the door. The install was messy, and the caulking was like an amateur was doing it, nothing professional about it. Ashbrook Construction came out for the touch up which was an even a worse job. It was represented to us that there was a touch up paint kit but found out that it is not recommended because of the difficulty in the application. And after paying for a very expensive door, the company charges $75 for a kit that the customer can't use with ease. I would definitely not recommend using this company. read more

We had to have our beautiful oak entry door refinished twice within the first five years of living in our new home & decided it was time for a change. We were referred to Iron Door Works by a close friend and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Due to the climate we live in, they strongly recommend adding a "thermal break" to our order. We were not thrilled hearing this at first as It was a fairly expensive upgrade and the door would take 5 months to build due to the custom sizing. In hindsight, it was probably the best decision we could have made. The door came in exactly as designed and after four years it still looks / operates like it did on day one. AVOID. Horrible service and quality! 4 contractors said to never use Iron Door. We did and it's been a mess. Several things wrong with the door. They have been to see door. Promise to make it right. Disaster upon Disaster! We thought we ordered our door in June. the sales rep said it would be done in 8-10 weeks as long as we got our drawings signed and in. A month later I received an email that asked if we were going to order our door. I told them I turned in the signed drawings and finish options and thought it was ordered. Opps NOT! Took in our payment and were hoping we could rush it. they said they couldnt promise anything but, would try. We had moved into a home we were renovating and had torn off the front door and replaced it with plywood hoping for the door to be there in Sept. No door Sept, Oct, or Nov. I called and would ask for updates, they would say :it looks like its in customs we will let you know" Id call again, and email They would say " looks like the boat is in the port, we will let you know. Finally, in Dec I called, spoke with the owner. Told him the issue. He said he would get back to me. NOTHING! I was furious, we had to build up the area we were suppose to put the door, buy another door from Home Depot. This was only the beginning! Finally, our door came Dec 24th, they paid for the installation with one of their preferred door guys. He got here, installed the door only one problem, the door was measured inaccurately so the trim we had paid extra for wouldn't fit. He said 'get the door on and resolve this later. (which we did) meanwhile installation he was was putting in the door jam and his tool slipped and gouged the whole door jam, scratched all the way down! He tore off the sweep on the bottom of the door because the door didnt fit. We then had a door 6 months late, a huge gouged down the side and cold air pouring in through the bottom. i have tried email, calling, several attempts to remedy this problem an nothing! Here we sit with a $3800 door that looks like crap and allows heat and air to pour in through the bottom! I would say NEVER AGAIN! I hope these guys go out of business! They were awful. It took EIGHT months to get the door. A full two months longer than their most pessimistic estimate/promise. Absolutely no compensation for the cost and inconvenience that resulted. "No, you can't cancel your order. Just keep waiting as long as it takes." Poor communication. BTW, the doors are made in China. They come with absolutely no instructions for installation or maintenance. Customer service was abysmal. They sent incorrect screws (twice). The deadbolt would not engage the door frame. They demanded pictures and wanted to blame it on me. Turns out they design it that way on purpose. Had a billing problem over shipping which they also ignored then arrogantly tried to dismiss. I sent them a long detailing of my dissatisfactions, which they also ignored. Don't buy from China if you can help it. And definitely not from these clowns. read more

Great experience dealing with Iron Door Works. Met Kayla at the Denver Home show fall 2018 following loosing everything we owned in a house fire. Kayla was a very good, non pushy sales person. There doors were beautiful and very sturdy. Finally made our decision the second time that I met with Kayla and saw their doors at the home show here in Denver in mid February 2019.
