If not for the school's inaction on a serious ethical issue, I would give WBB a 5-star review. My…read moreson attended the 2's program with Miss Megha, Miss Ashley and Miss Faria and the Multi-age class with Miss Stephaney and Miss Amy this year. All of these teachers and Miss Colleen are phenomenal people that we loved. We also had great experience with all the other teachers in passing. We were saddened to have to make the decision to leave due to the 4s program, specifically one incident/teacher. What happened may not impact you personally and you may not even care, however, as the daughter of an immigrant (Indian-American) and a minority and because there are so many immigrant families that attend this preschool, I feel that I must inform families that are considering WBB as a preschool program.   Last summer, I came across concerning public social media posts on a WGLT immigration article made by the 4s assistant. I felt they were hateful, intolerant of others and lacked compassion and empathy for children and their families. I contacted the WBB administration with screenshots of the comments. The Board President called me and in her own words she found these posts "disturbing". A total of three parents that I am aware of contacted the school regarding this specific incident.  She let me know that she spoke to the teacher and the teacher didn't really see the correlation between her comments and how that transfers to the students she interacts with. This response to her actions was troubling to me because even though it may not be spoken in front of children, these beliefs almost certainly influence behavior. The lack of judgement she showed by posting such comments on a public forum made me feel that she felt confident and strongly about her opinions. Therefore,I felt uncomfortable leaving my son in her care and concerned he could be treated differently in the 4s classroom. I did not immediately remove my son because we had such a good experience in the 2s program and he would not have direct contact with the teacher that made these remarks. After my conversation with the Board President she stated that she would follow up with me after they observed the teacher and would make a determination on how to proceed. She did not follow up with me. I contacted her once I needed to make a final decision on my son's Pre-K program. She stated that they observed this teacher and decided not to make any changes to the current situation and that my family was probably better off choosing a different preschool which we ultimately did. Yes, she suggested that we leave. We felt very unwelcome at WBB by the Board President response in bringing up this legitimate concern. I understand it is completely the school's decision to stand by their employee, however I believe before you pick this program you should know who your child is being influenced by especially when they make their views so public. When someone shows you who they are, believe them. Had she not posted these comments I would never know she felt this way and my son would have obviously finished preschool at WBB but I can't unsee it or ignore it. This experience showed us what the administration values are and they are not in line with we want for our children.

My son is thriving at Wesley's Bright Beginnings. I love the communication from the teacher and…read moreknowing what's going on in class. He is currently in the 3's class and within a few months (we started in November) can write his name with upper and lower case letters. I love the curriculum and age appropriate activities through play. I am floored as a parent to know he will be ready for kindergarten once he graduates this awesome program. We can't say enough good things about WBB!

Heather, the director was so helpful and worked us in! The staff are all so friendly and professional! They have been taking great care of our son. It's seriously such a blessing to not have to worry about childcare and focus on work or whatever else I have to do. We loved KinderCare so much that we recommended it to our sister for our nephew. So yes, we would recommend KinderCare to anyone!

There simply aren't enough compliments to share about the staff at our Bloomington IL KinderCare…read more When we first were seeking care for our foster son seven years ago, we visited several places in town. We knew as soon as we walked in that KinderCare would be the place for our family. Since then we've adopted our son and have another child in care with us now. The staff at KinderCare, particularly the Director, are extremely protective of our children and care about them dearly. We love everyone there. Our son looks forwards to summers where he can spend the days with his friends and going on fun field trips and adventures. Our toddler is thriving and squeals with delight whenever her friends and teachers come into view. In short, KinderCare is a terrific day care. Though I'm sure other day cares in town are fine, we would not choose to go anywhere other than KinderCare.

Cornerstone is a damn fine school with great people. Not really any better middle or highschool in the area. And having kids go there for 14 years isn't bizarre given that they offer pre-k and daycare.

I am fully convinced that Cornerstone Christian Academy is either not real or a serious cult. I…read morehave never seen its students mingle with anyone outside of their compound. The one small building, its obscure location, and lack of public knowledge lead me to believe that these children are in danger. I have seen the Scientology documentary and fear for the safety of my peers. Quotes such as "my children have been here for 14 years" prove that children are being trapped and forced into this cult. I know many members of the surrounding neighborhoods and they state that they have "never seen any of the children outside." The one encounter I did have with the students, they were seen wearing shirts that say "Cream City" on them, showing their disconnect with modern society and pop culture. If the elders of this cult knew what this meant, it is going against all Christian beliefs. Overall, #FreeTheKids #CreamCity #CCA

I have worked in child care for 10 years now and while I was employed here I witnessed things worse than I have ever encountered before. I was supposed to be the infant teacher and on my first day when we were supposed to have children present, the classroom was disgusting with bugs and rotten milk spilt all over and food left on the floor for months. The director hires people who cannot legally work alone with children because of dcfs flags in their background check. An employee recently posted a google review as well and the owners were able to get google to take her review down. Since then, the director and owners have had people post fake positive reviews when none of those people even work at the center or have ever been inside of it. I know the directors response to this will be calling me an angry employee but to be completely transparent, I was job searching before my time at this center even ended. She might also mention that I called in sick multiple times because the director and the owners continued to lie about babies being there but I spent majority of the time cleaning because only 2 children ever were present. This center cares more about appearance to the public instead of the safety and wellbeing of the children. You can see in their facebook posts that they continue to have 2 year olds in the infant room when the room is licensed for 6 weeks- 14 months. They opened up under Kidsville because the last center called fundamentals which under these same owners got shut down for these exact reasons. Mixed age groups are a huge safety concern. I also have picture proof to back up some of the disturbing parts of this center.
