The gymnastics area was kind of small but really clean. They had a counter and some merchandise around. 2 young instructors were teaching thr group. The group was really small, I think 4 or 5 kids. First they started off with stretching. Then they went thru the course - jumping on the trampoline walkway, rolling over, swinging from the bar, balance beam, then crawling through 2 connected tunnels, and then flipping or rolling down the ramp. The did this a few times then had free time with balls. The mommy and me was short, only 30 mins. My daughter was definitely not ready to stop and got upset that we had to leave. I wish it was a little bit longer and had a bit more activities for them to do. Music would be nice too. The instructors were really friendly and patient with the children and encouraging. Overall, it was good experience, she had fun and that's what matters. I was informed that the first 3 classes were free and then they had different options if you were interested in continuing. They offered classes for other age groups for kids.

While I have no feelings either way about this studio, I am NOT happy that the new owner decided to brush off my child's heartbreak at the time as "too many absences" to continue towards her performance. She missed 1 practice, due to the terrible situation the previous owner put us in. This is not a "too many absences" issue. This was a bad management and uncaring staff issue. I will not EVER let anyone try to hide the truth about what happened. I hope that everyone that enjoys the place, continues to do so, but it looks like new management is trying to put a spin on a 3 yr old situation to make it look less about the businesses fault. That is not okay with me, as a parent that tries to teach my children about taking responsibility for their own actions.

Since its turned into a almost pure Karate School, delegating those of us that like to practice the other arts to one day a week, if we're lucky, I no longer see the point of being a full time dues paying member. Now it's Karate all the time, by the numbers, in formation, like I'm back in the military. No thanks. I did my 8 and got out. I have self-discipline, I don't need to be taught that. I was after the internal arts. As such, I'll just be paying the day rate fees from here on out, if I choose to return. So, take what I say with a grain of salt. I haven't been back since he started compelling me to practice Karate only, a side sport for fun for me. The staff is very knowledable when it comes to Karate, and I'm sure they'll forget more then I'll ever learn. Great for the kids. I'm going to miss mentoring them.
