They demonstrate everything clearly and explain each skill thoroughly, citing real-world examples based on their own experience as divers and active members of the diving community. Rick is a wealth of knowledge (on diving, dive skills, dive gear, you name it!) And provided all of us with excellent instruction as well as feedback. Dawn offers useful, alternate explanations--in addition to one-on-one reinforcement for students who need more time or assistance in fully understanding and mastering a skill. They don't gloss over anything, and they spend as much time as the group needs in order for each student to feel comfortable, which I really appreciate. Having the two of them also allows individual students to have that valuable one-on-one time with Dawn while Rick continues his instruction, so students that need more time on a skill don't feel like they're holding up the group or feel embarrassed like they are the center of attention when the rest of the group is ready to move on. I'm already thinking about what scuba diving courses I want to take next! I highly recommend the Scuba Shop for those who are looking for more than just getting certified and "getting it over with." I love to paddleboard and had such a great time doing it! Right now a portion of the river is closed due to construction, so you don't get to explore too much. We also rented a two person kayak for my husband and daughter and it was really fun. This isn't the fault of the company, but the river was so disgusting that I was not comfortable getting off the paddleboard or my daughter playing in the water. Just a lot of trash.

So my wife, daughter and I tried our hand at it. We had the most fun ever. It was special because it was my wife's was birthday. This was something she always wanted to try and I for one was glad that we all did. Ms. Theresa, was the person in charge of the rental place. Mr. Patrick who was a volunteer at the TCPaddlesports was really helpful as well. The only set back for me is that they have no changing rooms the portable potty is dirty and they have to put up the toilet paper so it won't be stolen. Since this is a nonprofit rental place the have no changing rooms. My advice is if you get there before they open and you need to use rest room. Make sure you have personal hand sanitizer and toilet paper. The price for an hour outing was $60.00. Ms. Theresa was truly awesome and very welcoming. Thank you Ms. Theresa, you made it fun.

My son and his friend came with me in February to try something new and have an adventure. Everyone had a great time his friend was able to do something much so he would not be able to do anytime soon. So blessed to be able to provide adventures my kiddos. My 60 and 69 year old friends, they both love to try new things, but we're also nervous. But once they committed, they had a fantastic time. We came back in March and I brought my 61-year-old friend her daughter and boyfriend along with my 75-year-old water aerobics and everyone had the time of their life. My friend got a bit nervous flying high, which hindered is ability to experienced as we did. Everyone was so happy that they tried I love seeing my friends and family be adventurous and I'm so happy that the military base allows us to take these adventures and make new memories. I highly recommend trying this out.

There's a safety form to complete and an instructional video to review, both of which were very helpful in preparing for the flight. However, there was a bit of confusion with scheduling. Since I arrived close to the time of a pre-booked group, I had to wait longer than expected, I could have flown and finished before the group arrived. It would have been helpful if this had been communicated upfront. Jordan, the instructor, was exceptional! He was attentive, friendly, and created a fun, comfortable atmosphere--perfect for a first-timer. While the experience was fun and unique, the cost is high for just 4-5 minutes of flight time. Although you can't really put a price on trying something new and exciting, this will likely be a one-time experience for me. Thank you, iFLY, for an enjoyable and memorable first-time adventure! Highly recommend it to anyone who's never tried indoor skydiving.

You will definitely experience muscle soreness for a few days if you're not one to exercise. Staff was friendly, accommodating and actually taughte how to use our gear. I never felt lost or confused throughout the ordeal. This place is great for both adults and kids. Usually adventure parks caters to a young audience but I really think Go Ape hit the nail with ensuring that these rope courses are challenging. I did face one issue; during the last (and longest) zipline, I got stuck. I reached the other side but missed the landing, and I was dragged back to the middle of the zipline. Left hanging above the river, I contemplated blowing my whistle to alert staff. But somehow, I was able to get momentum and completed the course. Still, the challenge itself didn't ruin my experience; it made it all the more unique and fun. I'd definitely come back with friends and family!!

I have nothing but good things to say about my experiences dealing with John at Boats Unlimited. I…read morepurchased a boat about a year ago that had been sitting outside for several years with a big hole in the cover over the engine compartment. I realized that I had taken on a little more than I could handle after I started going through the boat. I was keeping the boat at Shorline MIni Storage where John's shop just happens to be. Not only did John perform many repairs on the boat, but he was extremely patient and willing to answer any and all questions that I had about the repairs that I was planning to perform myself. We just let the tab build as John performed the many necessary repairs to get the boat up and running well again. I was pleasantly surprised with the reasonable final bill when it was all said and done, and I will definitely continue to use his services. I would definitely recommend John at Boats Unlimited if you are looking for an extremely knowledgable and reputable boat mechanic.

We love FlipKick! My kids have all learned to swim with Kona and her staff. After a "playtime in…read morethe water" "swim class" at the NRH Centre a few years ago, I found FlipKick. Ms Kona had my kids floating on their backs in the first couple of lessons. The main purpose of the class is survival, so the babies/kids are shown how they should move in the water, flip to their back, then float. And then it's repeated over and over for them to develop the correct muscle memory of those movements. The cost seems expensive, especially compared to other "normal" swim classes in the area. But these are one-on-one lessons that get a LOT done in 15mins, 4-days a weeks. I'm always referring friends, neighbors, and even strangers to FlipKick. Kona is great! Her staff is great!
