So far they have: - adjusted cleaning schedule around cruises - diver filmed underwater issues for me to forward to shipyard - pulled and reinstalled 2 propellers in water (also came back 2 weeks later to check for key binding ... I didn't even have to ask!!! -found a tiny latch hook I dropped in the water and put in my dock box... big Thanks for that one! -Stopped cleaning when they noticed I had fresh paint on the bottom. 1st issue, when i pulled boat from water to have work performed on my props it was discovered that big spots under the hull had not been getting scrapped. 2nd issue is everyother month they say i need zincs. When the boat was put back in the water a few months back they told me the zincs were completely missing. I found that hard to believe that my mechanic just forgot to put them back on but non the less i had scub duba put them on that was 3 months ago, last month they told me the same zincs need changing. Now they have a new person there because chris apparently left who has no idea that zincs have been changed and added over the last year and tells me the last time i changed zincs was in November. Don't know wherr the confusion is however those missed spots was an issue i needed to fix with my insurance company, they wanted to deny my claim and i had to prove that i paid to have my hull cleaned because of the build up under the boat. Today the person i spoke with i believe was Havier, told be he was cancelling my account and hung up on me. Was totally rude. Pictures are to come read more

It has become a rarer thing in business nowadays-service, I mean (check my other reviews); however, those companies who provide consistently good service, even service that seems to go over (sometimes way over) and above at least my expectations. I really was happy when I first met their trainer, then their owner (who developed the boat hull cleaning method in the early 1960's and was acting as a hands-on owner!), their manager, and everybody that I come in contact with this company has been VERY Nice and Helpful! No wonder they are the biggest-doing literally 1000's of boats a month all over So Cal-they are the BEST! Now, there are plenty of other good hull cleaners out there too, for sure...but if you want the best (in more ways than just the hull cleaning), the added value of convenience of having a company that can set your yacht service up automatically, email or hard copy (snail mail) each month's report to you, auto pay availability to simplify your life, and the nicest and most helpful staff you'll find ANYWHERE in ANY INDUSTRY!! Their trainer-diver from England that I met, inspected a sailboat's hull (while it was in the water) I was going to buy near the company headquarters in Long Beach, CA. This professional gentleman gave me a verbal report on the spot (for free), and said if I wanted, that he'd quickly get me a written report (complete with pictures of the boat's hull) for just a nominal fee. Well, I didn't end up buying that sailboat in Long Beach, but Scuba Duba Corp. services my boat now, and any and all future boats, too! As a live aboard, I suffered through using D-ives Plus for 5 years, rarely showed up, shoddy work, billing errors, and finally decided to change with the recommendation of a friend to Scuba Duba.. WOW.. professional front office staff, amazing cleaning, and to top it off, the day after our second service, another person showed up under the boat. I am writing my 2nd review on scuda duba i see my first one not their anymore. well I have a 30 ft sport fisher. called scuba duba to clean the bottom of my boat because I was going to pull it out for the winter they said it would be done on that friday before I pull it out on saturday. well they drop the ball when I got it on the trailer I was surprised they didn't touch it. I was pretty mad !! to my surprise after I call them they came to my house and clean the bottom the best as they could being on a trailer and I am 45 mile from the beach all I can say is Thanks you guy you stand behind what you say. Even though now I have it on a trailer and don't need there service, they looked it up by the hull number and told me exactly when the last service was. They even gave me advice on how to clean the hull myself. They told me the price if the boat was in the water and it seemed very reasonable. read more

From the first cleaning, I had issues with them missing spots on the boat. They even had a tag saying it was inspected. I watched one day and observed their inspection, it consisted of a diver hitting my neighbors boat with his and my neighbor confronts him and the diver said he did not hit it that hard. Neighbors disagrees and says yes you hit it hard enough to move the boat. The diver jumps in the water and inspects another boat and gets out of the water in less than 30 seconds. That is what you call an inspection. I called the office and complain about the first cleaning because I can see the growth on the side of the boat- two inch weed growing on the side of the boat. Next cleaning they miss two trim tabs and it was also inspected. They came out and cleaned the trim tabs. Third time they replaced two zincs on the boat but they never called me for my authorization and I told them from the beginning I did not want that service from them. I had enough with them and will no longer use them anymore and I could not recommend their service. Their inspections are a joke. Divers have to clean too many boats a day to do a good job. read more
