Perhaps coming up with a solution rather than sending me emails with highlighted circles in your return policy would have gone over better, sometimes text or emails get lost in translation. What doesn't get lost is cost, I paid for the return shipping at $37+ and then you took an additional $17 from a $99 purchase, I should have just kept them. But, lesson learned, I'll pay more attention to the fine print or purchase from a reputable company with a better return policy. It's not your fault that I ordered the fins and they ended up too small for my needs, not a problem but $54 dollars from a $99 purchase just doesn't work. Thanksagain for reaching out. read more

The shop charged me $20 for a pool session with all my gear but never let me know that it was cancelled. They had my phone number, credit card, billing address, enough information to find me on FB or promptly return the money to clue me in. Or drive to the pool and not have me hanging there. When I called them again the owner David Barnes threatened me that they won't even refund the $$ unless I take the negative post down. Do not trust this organization; they will screw you and will blame you at the same time. To say the least, I've been affiliated with a lot of great local dive organizations and haven't seen or experienced ANYTHING like this. Stay away from this shop. Sooner or later they will screw you. read more

Dave & Melissa are fantastic! Scubadelphia has opened up a whole new world to me. As someone who has always loved the ocean and sea life, they really made a dream come true by helping me become scuba certified. If you are even curious about trying scuba, Scubadelphia is the best shop in the are hands down. They made it so comfortable. After having failed miserably at Discover Scuba in Greece, I reached out to Scubadelphia to get fully certified before a trip to Australia. What set Scubadelphia apart from the other shops in the area was their friendliness. I had done a lot of homework and called all of the shops and none of them were as welcoming as Dave & Melissa. They are genuinely excited for you to experience diving and are great with beginners. It's clear your safety is their top priority. They are incredibly knowledgeable whether advising on gear and the technical aspects of diving or just helping you work through a course. I've traveled with them and their trips are fantastic! From local diving in NJ, whale sharks in Honduras, shipwrecks and sharks in North Carolina, ice diving in Vermont to the ultimate diving in the Galapagos Islands, traveling with Scubadelphia is always a blast! There is a wonderful community of divers in the area and the dive meetings at Scubadelphias are also a lot of fun. Its great to meet other local divers and their speakers are amazing! Now, two years later, I've done Open Water, Advanced and Nitrox courses with plans to sign up for Rescue Diver. I couldn't be happier to have found such a great shop with even better people. read more

The amazing folks at Scubadelphia *literally* made a dream come true for me. I just completed my open water diver certification with them after having a dream that I was swimming with all sorts of crazy fish (well- that last part I will need to work on with my therapist, haha)... but you know, honestly I couldn't be happier. The owners and the staff at the shop were very friendly and helpful- ready to answer all of my questions. The classes were fun and every single instructor exhibited confidence and patience with respect to each student. I always felt like I was in good hands even when I made some minor mistakes. Learning a new, complicated skill like scuba could be really intimidating in the wrong environment. Dave, Melissa and their dive team were encouraging, supportive of beginner learning process, upfront about costs, and just generally super-nice people! A real 5-Star operation. This is a great dive shop right in Philly, close to NJ. Dave and Melissa run a top notch shop, offering classes, dive charters, great gear at fair prices. They're always friendly, helpful and professional! And they know how to treat people right. I took rescue diver class with them and it was terrific! Check out the dive club they started too...Philadelphia Seahorses. The dive club meetings are always interesting with guest speakers. Scubadelphia is awesome. I came here to get my open water certification for a vacation we were planning. I was so impressed with the classes and the instructors that I came back to get my advanced and nitrox certifications so I could keep diving. Dave & Melissa and their whole diving gang were seriously awesome! They were very flexible with our schedules and made sure we got all our dives in before we go on our honeymoon to Australia. I was nervous about scuba diving but they made this whole experience great for me. Not only were they super accommodating, but they can also make a mean pulled pork sandwich after a day of diving! Infinite Stars!!!!! Just completed my Advanced Open Water Cert. with Dave, Melissa, and their Staff at Dutch Springs. Can't talk the experience up enough. Amazing staff were patient and attentive. Provided a safe and productive learning environment as well as a very fun, personable, social, and excepting one. Camped the weekend there at Dutch. Dave cooked B/L/D Saturday and Sunday; very inclusive potluck type meals with Dave, Melissa, and their staff. Did three dives Saturday and two Sunday. Definitely a great time!!! Looking forward to continuing my dive education and experience with Scubadelphia and their incredible staff. Thank you all so much!!! read more

Scubadelphia is a great place to learn how to dive!!! I put off learning how to dive for years and finally decided to "take the plunge" for my 40th birthday. I couldn't have picked a better shop to learn to dive with. The expert staff is patient and attentive. I got my open water certification with Scubadelphia and my Advanced Diver certification. Dave and Melissa are great people who truly love what they do. They are warm and friendly and make you feel comfortable in the water from the get go.
