I booked a 90-minute head, shoulders, and back massage with Moonchild due to ongoing pain between my shoulder blades that's been affecting my sleep. First issue was the access. I arrived 20 minutes early to allow time to navigate, and for about 7 of those minutes, I was stuck outside. Every door was locked, and I only got inside because I happened to see another client leaving through the back. I had to bang on the door just to be let in, and the phone line was no help, because it is an AI answering service that couldn't connect me to anyone. Once inside, Moonchild mentioned she usually comes out closer to the appointment time. I told her I'd wait, but she decided to take me back early, which I appreciated at the time. However, the session ended at 1:38, despite being scheduled until 1:50. I didn't get taken into her suite until about 12:15, which is only 5 minutes prior to my 12:20 appointment. I was already back on the highway by the time the massage should have ended. More concerning, I clearly communicated that I did not want my feet or scalp massaged. I explained my hair was tied up, and yet she massaged it anyway, despite me explicitly saying no. That felt disrespectful and dismissive of my boundaries. The massage itself felt generic and did not address the issue I came in for: my upper back and shoulder blade pain. She briefly worked on my TMJ, which I didn't request, and when I mentioned wanting some kind of neck traction to help relieve pressure in my back, she casually said she could have done it... but didn't. I walked out feeling like my main concerns were not prioritized or properly treated. I paid $159 for a 90-minute service that ended early, disregarded my stated needs and boundaries, and left me still in pain. With so many glowing 5-star reviews, I expected a much more professional and attentive experience. Unfortunately, this wasn't it.

The facility is spotless and staff friendly and helpful. They were on time and attentive from the moment we stepped inside. I got texts and calls regularly from the moment I dropped her off, until I picked her up. Everything was smooth including patient pickup which happens around back of the building. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!…read more I paid $700 in October 2024 to this company, Elite Massage for a massage package but I never received the massages due to a medical situation outside of my control and they refuse to refund my money. Elite massage are rude crooks and they don't care at all about their clients. I have several unexpected complications following my surgery and I am now in and out of the hospital. I kindly reached out to them and explained my situation and asked for a refund but they said NO. Even though I never received the massages and didn't even have a chance to make an appointment for the massages, they said NO. I went into the hospital a few days after I paid them $700 and I have been in and out of the hospital since then. I can't afford to lose $700, I'm a single mom of 4 children and I loss my job due to my now ongoing medical issues and my medical bills are mounting each day. I don't wish this situation on anyone! I reached out to them again a couple of weeks ago but they didn't respond at all. I asked if we could come to some sort of agreement but they are not responding to me at all. I was suffering from shooting pain through my butt and down my left leg -- sciatic nerve pain. I…read morehad tried chiropractic relief, rehab therapy, and received two cortisone injections to my lower spine. The pain got so bad I couldn't bend to put on socks or lift the mattress to make the bed. I had reviewed many local surgeons on line and settled on Dr. David Kruger in Bloomfield, Ct. Others have stated.he is a surgeon who will not jump at a chance to use his surgical skills and in my case, while he was reserved and serius about the possible outcomes of surgery, he was also quite confident he could help address my problem only after thorough review of my MRI. I too was not hoping for surgery but I had exhausted all other options and when Dr. Kruger showed me the arthritis affected bone pinching my nerve we agreed to surgery. Surgery went well, and Dr. Kruger performed an L3 and L4 laminotomy and foraminotomy. I had been worried about the recovery period, but all went much better than I could have imagined. I was home the same day of surgery and took one of the painkillers before bed. As the anesthetics wore off it was immediately apparent my pain was gone. I never needed additional pain killers and went to work the next day (I work at home so did not need to drive). Recovery was painless aside from some stiffness where the muscles were cut. Although I felt fine and thought I could return to playing tennis after a couple of weeks, the Dr. recommended I wait at least 6 weeks. I tried, but in the fifth week I played tennis on Friday, golf and tennis on Sunday. No pain, nor stiffness. Honestly, it hurt more to remove one of the staples than it did for the surgery, and this was an anomaly. I highly recommend Dr. Kruger as an honest surgeon whose main concern is working with the patient to find the best solution for their problem -- even if this does not include surgery. In retrospect, I am disappointed with the Dr. that had advised I get the cortisone shots (not Dr. Kruger, but the folks at Hartford Hospital) as it seemed the MRI presented ample evidence the shots would have no affect. Is is great to be pain free just in time for golf season and I am enjoying playing tennis multiple times per week. Thank you Dr. Kruger.
