OnSite MedSpa is a mobile medical spa, so this is a wonderful option for busy professionals or anyone who prefers the convenience and flexibility of house calls. It was quite an experience to have a nurse visit me at home on a weekend with all of the safety and tools of an office environment. What a concept! In addition to injectables and others, OnSite MedSpa offers an IV drip, microneedling, vampire facial (microneedling and blood draw for a blood facial) and hair rejuvenation (also entails a blood draw). I am quite weary of needles, so I went with the smallest needles over the blood draw. ;) Scheduling was super easy and done online from their website. I received a confirmation and didn't even need to do anything special before the appointment - it's my first time doing microneedling, so I made sure to ask. Daniela was my nurse and she arrived promptly with a mask in tow. She was at my home for a maximum of 1.5 hours and most of the time was spent on prep work. While she got everything ready and numbed my face(!!), she was also super pleasant and informative. She explained the whole process to me in detail and really put me at ease. This process is meant to bolster collagen in your face, and I'm trying to be proactive about aging and improve my general complexion. The sound of the wand made me a bit anxious at first, but the numbing cream kicked in like a charm and I barely felt a thing. All that fussing for nothing. Daniela checks in with me each day, including earlier today, which she said she would do just to make sure I was healing well. After the treatment, I had a bit of blemishes here and there, with some rouge settling into my cheeks and forehead. Daniela warned me of this, and it cleared up by the next day. The paleness then came and went on Tuesday. Today, Wednesday, I'm good as new and happy as can be with the results. Daniela recommended monthly sessions, which I think will need to be every other month for now. Given the aftercare and recovery time, I'd recommend budgeting 3-5 days without too much sun or public appearances.
