When she had her get up and wash her hands my daughter goes back to the table and the ring is GONE! This is in a matter of mins! Came in during my lunch. I was in and out in 50mins. I was happy with my gel service. 4 of my nails were chipped and I told the manicurist I wanted to mend my chipped nails and keep my length...and she was able to save my nails. I was surprised she was able to save my nails because they chipped yesterday and I did an at home remedy to patch my nails up...thanks to YouTube. I used tea bags and nail glue to patch my nails and I filed it down smoothly. When the manicurist was drilling and filling my nails down, I was after she was going to tear my nails apart...but nope. If I could give no stars I would!! This is the worst pedicure I have ever received. The guy did not use any cuticle softener or oil. Attempted to trim my cuticles and did a sub par job that hurt really bad. He barely filed them as he watched the TV. I had to ask him to re-file my nails prior to painting because the texture was so uneven and he looked annoyed by this. The paint job was horrible. He used so much it flooded my cuticles and just looked a mess all over my skin. He did not wait at all in between painting for layers to dry, so everything looks globbed on and gross. Very uneven and ugly!! I will never come here again and hope no one comes here for a pedicure or any service for that matter. No attention to detail. I got a gel manicure. I was visiting my parents and needed my nails done. It was $25 for gel manicure. A girl started to take off my old gel polish then a group of guys came in and needed their eyebrows waxed. She got up to help them and had some guy finish me, it was weird. No friendly talk, just "what color you want?". I didn't get lotion on my hands and the guy was really cheap with the amount of primer he put on and oil. Also, the cotton ball was pretty dry and not saturated with alcohol like I'm used to. Overall my nails came out ok...just that ok. I'm glad I can go home and get my nails done where I live. My advice to anyone reading this is that you do not step foot in this place. Due to getting married in Porterville last weekend, I took my daughter in to get her eyebrows waxed while I got gel color on my nails. I also got my lip and brow waxed. On Sunday morning my daughter woke up with red painful bumps all over her forehead area. Yesterday she started feeling sick and having a sore throat. I made her a doctor appointment for this afternoon and the doctor thought she just had an allergic reaction to whatever they used to wax her eyebrows. Upon further investigation the doctor said the bumps were not an allergic reaction and it was actually a bacterial infection that spread and was causing her to feel like she has the flu. I started thinking about it and now I realize that the stick/cotton swab used to apply the wax was not clean prior to either of us getting waxed. So I can only assume that the tools being used were used on the two clients waxed before us. The woman also used some tweezers on my daughter, that came out of an unsterilized plastic drawer sitting on the counter. Needless to say, we will never return to this dump! read more

Came here to do my eyebrows because my regular eyebrow place was closed. I am very particular with who I trust with my eyebrows. I thought I'd give this place a shot. First of all, the staff is rude. There were two of them just sitting on the pedicure chairs and with much attitude told me to go inside the eyebrow room. The eyebrow room was very unsanitary, cluttered, dusty, dirty. The woman doing my eyebrows proceeded to insult my current eyebrows at the time; of course they didn't look good, I hadn't done them in 2 months. She went on to wax my eyebrows and didn't even close the door, so all others waiting were watching me. Once she was done she told me to look in the mirror and she had destroyed my eyebrows! She removed more from one brow than the other and they were not even at all. I was so disappointed and annoyed!! Not to mention that everyone else waiting was watching me show my disapproval, because she hadn't closed the door. I was so upset about my brows. Never going there again. Best pedicure i've had in months! I recently moved to this town and was having a real hard time finding a "go to" place.. but i finally found it. They were in a bit of a hurry... but even then, the lady helping me was amazing! They charged me $21 for my regular pedicure and $18 for just gel application. I couldn't be happier! She has a strong hand so for the first time, it didn't tickle when she was scrubbing my feet! Since it was my first time there i didn't know when the polish would dry so I accidentally messed it up and when I asked them (politely) to fix it they were rude and started talking trash right in front of me!!!! Another thing was the way that they put my nails on. They made it look as if I had had the nails on for a month at least when I barely had them on for a day. Absolutly will NOT go back. I asked for an eyebrow wax and waited 45 minutes when I was told I would be right in. Once I got in the lady was very rude, rough, and way too fast. She left the door wide open and had kids in there watching. The room was dirty with old waxing strips. She would place the waxing strips on my chest and place her tweezers & scissors on my chest like it was a table. I told her exactly "please do not make my eyebrows skinny I only want them cleaned up." And they are skinner than ever and not identical and still had to pay full price. I get into my car and realized I still have all the hair on my face and chest. She does not ever clean up the hair, she's rude, and they charge $8 payed with a card. I do not recommend this place and this happened twice. I should have just learned my lesson the first time. NT across the street charges $10 but you go right in and out and the lady is very gentle, nice, cleans up after she's done, and listens to what you would like. I would rather pay $2 more and have nice eyebrows than $2 less with f***** up eyebrows. I never write reviews on Yelp but this was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon.
