I needed a place to smog my 2006 Dodge diesel and found SCV on yelp. Based on the good reviews, their ability to do diesel vehicles, and the close proximity to my work I went in to have them do my smog check. The entire process could not have been easier! They were incredibly professional, friendly and said nothing about my muffler-less aftermarket exhaust (with the cat. still in place). The shop was clean and had a nice waiting area where you can hang out during the 10 minutes it takes to get a smog check. I am extremely pleased with this shop! The service by Alex was amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure I was in and out in minutes. This place is a joke! I went to get my test, and there was no parking so I double parked in the lot and asked the technician what the wait time was and he said I had one person in front of me and I asked where could I park, he said he didn't know. I asked if I should come back in 20 min and he said I'd lose my place in line. WTH!?!? Ridiculous lack of service!! I left and went to 5 star Smog on Soledad, fantastic service! Exceptional service! My Chrysler was having trouble passing smog due limited vehicle history on its computer. The guys there told me I need to drive more I kept on driving and the car still wasn't passing after 3 more visits (free of charge!) They could've just told me I failed and charged me for another retest, but they gave me a break. on the 4th try I finally passed!
