California requires that anyone working on your vehicle, including something as simple as repairing windows, be required to register as an Automotive Repair Dealer (ARD) with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR). These guys are exceptional--they were prompt, reliable, and delivered on their promises. I'd recently discovered a small chip on the windshield of my Mercedes and knew I wanted it taken care of asap to prevent it from getting worse. I sent out requests for an estimate to several places via Yelp, and got a reply from SCV Windshield Chip Repair almost immediately. I was able to set up a same-day appointment within minutes of reaching out on a Sunday. They (twin brothers, I believe) showed up at my house at the agreed upon time and within 30 minutes of their arriving my windshield was fixed (FYI: their work comes with a lifetime warranty)! The whole process was extremely easy from start to finish, and overall so convenient. It was only after I'd started writing this review that I realized they're a fairly new family-owned business. Had I known this earlier, I probably would have considered the other more established businesses first. However, Im so glad I ended up with these guys, as I couldn't have been more pleased with their performance. Although I'm not really the tipping type, I really felt these guys had earned it and was happy to tip them for their work. Very responsive with communication even it's almost 9pm. I sent the picture of the windshield crack to Jacob and he said it could be fixed. Another company, Safelite, said to replace the whole windshield but this was obviously an overkill.
