Sunday is about the worst timing for a broken car window, but that's what happened. Husband doing yard work, accidentally kicked up a rock with the weedwhacker and suddenly my Monday plans changed. It is rare that I give a place all stars but California auto glass and the staff that work there are great. Not only is the shop clean and well organized which to be honest shows how professional it is, the installers we quick and friendly. They do take cash and Zelle and credit (credit there is a tax fee) the had to order our windshield but it came really quick and they installed it as quick as it came in. We did have to make an appointment and the earliest is 9am but to be honest even with waiting a lil bit for the glass to come in we were in and out in under 40 min. My mechanic recommended this place to replace the windshield on my Prius after a pebble flew off a truck and pinged my windshield starting a crack in it. It's always a bummer when this happens! The collision center next to them had a wrecked vehicle parked there with MAJOR front end damage and no apparent damage to the windshield. Go figure?!! They were fast and efficient and pleasant, replacing my windshield in about 30 minutes and only charged me $150! It really couldn't have been a better experience under the circumstances. These folks are excellent. I called in the late afternoon and they got me in for an appointment the next morning. They started working on my Bronco a little early since I showed up right before they opened, and they got me out of there within 30 minutes with original glass installed (they gave me the option of choosing after market for less, but I decided I wanted original). They gave me clear instructions on when I could remove the paper tape and when I could wash my car. They never tried to upsell me, and in fact saved me additional money by determining my windshield didn't need calibration.
