Scythe brewing is a really cool place. It has quite the Western vibe going, and reminded me a lot of Rawhide in Scottsdale. The private parking lot has many parking spaces and is easy to maneuver. I came here to see a band, and while there was a party of 26 there for an anniversary celebration, it was still possible to see the band (albeit from a long distance). I get the idea that a lot of the patrons there are regulars, as most seemed to know the staff and vice-versa. Many in the party of 26 (of which I wasn't a member) engaged me in conversation, and made me feel like I was part of the celebration. This was REALLY cool, and seemed to be the vibe of the whole place. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The food was also better than expected (with the exception of the packaged saltines served with the clam chowder...they were stale beyond belief). The soup itself was good, but not great. The steak bites were cooked to a perfect medium, and had a wonderful bark, making for a very enjoyable meal. Portion size is big. I'm looking forward to my next trip, which will likely be the next time the band plays there.

Scythe Brewing = two thumbs up Eclectic, welcoming ambiance. Friendly service. Decidedly different and delectable beer. Good food, served up fast.

Love the wheat row room divider.

Scythe Brewing seems to be the new brewery for the Longview and Kelso area. Set up is pretty nice and fresh looking. Beer here isn't too bad. Not the most memorable for sure but enjoyable enough. I tried their Cold IPA, Pilsner, Hazy Pale Ale and a Porter and a few others from a taster flight. In the end I think I liked the pilsner the best. The food is what slides this place into four stars . I had Cauliflower Tacos with a hot honey on it. They were very good and flavorful... especially with the hot honey. I got the hotter variety. Service was good and they can their beer so you can get it to go. For t shirts... they were out of stock on a few sizes but I eventually found one I wanted and an XL is what I went with which is a size that works for me.

Love the environment, fun and open. We had the nachos and they were really good! The pulled pork was superb. Service was also very good! Servers worked together to make sure our drinks were full and food was good!

    Muscles! Very good!

Interesting menu and locale. Good staff. Such a shame that everything was soggy and the fries were limp and greasy.

Quality beer, growler fills, and a very tidy and upscale environment, are all reasons I will be back.

The Cruban is a whole lotta goodness - blending a Rueben and a Cubano, arguably the two best sandwiches around, into one perfect bite.

I felt bad for a minute but then he brought us to a table where the cushions were so blown out that the table was coming almost to our chins. It felt vindictive and I didn't feel bad anymore. Things got even weirder after that. We asked about happy hour and he said you have to be sitting in the bar, we asked to move there. Get to the bar and there's no bartender.......why sit us there? Bizarre. He took our drink order and mocked me for my choices. "OMG, you think whiskey tastes good with sprite? Ew" I honestly didn't know how to respond, I've never had a waiter be so weird. Then instead of making the drinks, he disappeared and didn't come back. Finally had to flag down another waiter who took our order, made the drinks and put in our food order. The food has gone downhill. My spider roll was rolled so poorly I couldn't use chopsticks. Had to use my hands and pray it wouldn't fall apart. Most of it did. Crab tasted old. Prices have also gone completely out of control. There is no happy hour to speak of, 10% off isn't worth anything. And $11 for a Sapporo?!?!?!?!? That costs less than $4 in a store. This restaurant is paying less than that. Absolutely insane. This used to be a favorite spot but we won't be back.

Our chef was super funny and super talented! Being as I made my bones in the culinary world I so enjoy watching my food being prepared in front of me! We both got hibachi for two and the entire meal was succulent and hot! Well prepared and well priced! The atmosphere is what you'd expect of a hibachi joint (I don't mind the noise as we shared tables with some nice people) Overall 10/10, would most definitely come back and would most definitely recommend to family and friends. If you ever find yourself in Kelso I most definitely recommend stopping by if you've the time!

When we walked in this evening, Triangle was packed! They had football games playing on multiple screens, and as usual, the crowd was lively and in (mostly) good spirits - depending upon how their team was doing. We ordered the mac & cheese bites, and I'm going to suggest that you *never, ever order them - *Especially if you are on a diet - they are stupid good, and hard to resist! Mr. wonderful ordered the Sourdough Patty Melt with tots and of course - left nothing on his plate. I had the BLT. Only complaint - fries could've been crispier. Everything else = perfect. I spoke with Linda who was our server this evening (she was fabulous even with the crowd and chaos) and she confirmed that I can order *crispy fries, so - I'm thrilled! We have and will continue to recommend Triangle Tavern.

Generally speaking, the food is good and we order a whole lot for our table(s) of 6 including drinks and desserts. The kids meals are a solid value - big portions of chicken strips and fries, and another with a grilled cheese and lots of tater tots. The bougie chicken bacon alfredo mac came on a big ole plate and kid #1 who ordered it, says it is very good. Myself and a friend split a Forester burger -- it comes a side, we chose onion rings, and while the burger is great (caramelized onion and gorgonzola are a fire combination), the onion rings were way overcooked to the point there was almost no onion left in the batter lol (saaaad). Kids # 2 and 3 order happy hour mozzarella sticks, soft pretzels, and panko shrimp. Everything is good according to the children and their limited taste buds. Adults order cocktails which are light on alcohol (sad face) but heavy on delicious flavors! Desserts for 3 kids, everyone says everything is great. Beyond the hollow onion rings, our service was a bit sub-par this time around. Kid #2 spilled his entire drink and while we got some help from the server in the form of bringing more napkins to the table, server girl did nothing about the lake of dr pepper on the floor below it. It was disappointing, not gonna lie. Kids are annoying, I get it, but we had to sit with our shoes in this mess. It dried enough in some spots that our shoes were literally sticking to the ground. Server girl also forgot to put the order in for the panko shrimp sooo kid #2 thought he was being punished because he got his shrimp after everyone else practically finished their meals lol. Our tab was close to 200 bucks. I cringe super hard at the thought of paying half that bill, and tipping fairly, if only because my shoe almost came off my foot when I finally stood up to leave. Dr Pepper almost got me.
