Owner will have worker speak for him because he's scared to face customers that were told refunds wouldn't be an issue. Would also say that communication wasn't there if running late even if there was, same for parking on site which wasn't communicated. Boat is also not fully functional with gages not working and boats are slower than advertised. Would not recommend, they are in the business of screwing people over.

The most recent review before this one is one of the owner/operators providing a fake review on his own business. (Gabriel) Ended up renting from this "company" because we didn't know any better and didn't have time to look for someone else once they had shown up so we bit the bullet and went ahead thinking "What's the worst that could happen?" When we first arrived at the location 15min before our scheduled time, one of the owners was there (Jesus) he didn't introduce himself at all instead he tried yelling at us "you guys wanna rent some jetskis" like a common beach hustler you might see on vacation. No company uniform or any kind of signage to let us know who he was. He was dressed in "designer" clothes and covered in gaudy jewlery. He carried himself exactly as you would expect, extremely disrespectful to all of my guests to the point where I'm embarrassed to have even put them in that situation. They gave us no contract, no reciept, no insurance options, no liability waivers basically nothing other than "Hey if the harbor police come you didn't rent these from us." And, "Dont turn on the ski in shallow water and go slowly near these parked boats but otherwise you can go any speed through the bay." So we pay these guys through venmo / zelle (BIG MISTAKE) the agreed amount and a 200 dollar "deposit" per ski total being 1050 for 4 hrs 2 skis. Sounds like a pretty good deal but what they don't tell you is that no matter what happens they expect to you to pay the full amount for the rental and any repairs that may come up. Oh and their jetskis are BEAT with duct tape holding together miscellaneous parts. All was going fine until about halfway into our rental when one of the skis just died, we didn't do anything other than ride it as intended and the thing just turned off and would not turn back on again. We call the guys that one of our guests is stranded on the bay with their ski and we needed help. So they say "ok well be right there we are 3minutes away don't use the other jetski we're going to use it to tow the other one out " It takes Jesus 45 min just to show up obviously pissed off and another 30 to get our friend out of the bay. During that process Jesus ties his rope to the handlebars (definitely not the right place to pull from) and flips the jetski over with our guest on it ( who can't swim btw ). He then instructs our guest to flip the jetski on his own (something they should have showed us how to do before the rental even started) and then finally gets the ski out of the bay and proceeds to load up both jet skis. (With at least 1 hour left on our rental not including the time it took him to pull the broken one out of the bay) He didn't offer a single apology or any kind of replacement or additional time. He then says he'll be right back with our deposit and he gets into his car and drives away. So we got in total 2 hrs when we planned for 4, and some of our guests didn't get to ride them at all. So for the next week we try to contact them about this and they are saying "we're waiting for the mechanic to let us know what's going on with the dead ski" turns out that according to their mechanic "of 15 years" the jetski broke because of something coming loose, and it usually only happens when they are flipped. So naturally I think cool we're getting our deposit back since we never flipped the ski and it was obviously not our fault. I was very wrong, AFTER taking $1050 dollars total from us these jokers had the nerve to say to us the repair was 5 hundred something how would you like to pay the rest. Again offered 0 apologies for the horrible experience we had, didn't check if our guest who they flipped was ok (lawsuit waiting to happen), didn't refund us our time we lost, and ontop of all that had the balls to ask for more money. I've seen lemonade stands run by children operate with more professionalism than these clowns. If your looking to rent a jetski GO ELSEWHERE this place is a scam and will end up costing you much more overall.

Parking was a piece of cake, walked up to the counter and rented a speed boat. 2 drivers had to fill out some paperwork, sign away your life on the ipad, and you're good to go. So 3 of us and our pup walked out to the boat, were given some basic instructions about speed and directions, and got in our boat and we were on our way. Lovely hour and a half out on the water. We were late to check in because parking is horrible but they did mention that our full time that we reserved can still be used from time we get our equipment. We went to the paddle board rental area and no one was there to help us for a while. We asked someone who was in charge of jet ski rentals and they just told us to grab a life vest and select a paddle board on the beach. It was not a very pleasant experience because we had some people who have never paddle boarded before and no one was there to give us a general rundown of rules, how to paddle board, or how to return the equipment. We still had fun paddle boarding but not a great interaction with staff. Ambiance: Just a sports center. It was very busy and honestly too much happening. The staff didn't seem like they were in sync with each other. Parking: You're gonna have a hard time finding parking in general on a weekend. We had to ask people if they were leaving from the additional parking lot area in order to hopefully secure a parking spot.

When we first arrived, most of us needed to use the restroom (since there isn't one on the boat), and the girl working at check-in seemed a bit annoyed by that. However, once we got on the boat, she was totally fine and helpful. A few things to note: someone in your group does have to drive the boat, so plan ahead for that. You can bring your own 21+ drinks as long as they're not in glass containers, and you'll need to bring your own ice. Once you're out on the water, it's pretty lively with lots of other boats and people. We played our own music and just hung out--it was a really fun, chill experience. The two hours definitely go by fast, so keep an eye on the time. They're strict about going over, even by a minute, so we set a timer and started heading back 30 minutes before our end time. Highly organized and professional, gave us a clear rundown of all the rules including speed limits…read morethroughout the bay, how to operate the jetski, etc. Had us watch an instructional safety video, even had us video with our own cameras the entire perimeter of the jetski itself so as to ensure no confusion in assessing for damage afterward which im assuming had been an issue in the past with other customers. But this is the right way to do it, esp with these frequently rented vehicles that can easily sustain minor damages if handled carelessly. The dude at the dock is also very helpful in helping you ride away from and approach the dock, the latter of which can be a little tricky. Other jetski rental services in the area have been far less clear and professional in my experience. And why deal with the choppy waves and high traffic of the Coronado area. Mission Bay's where it's at yo! And that makes this the go-to for some of the best jetskiing you can experience in SD and I'd say SoCal in general. I signed up for 2 private lessons and had a great experience with their instructors, being very knowledgeable and patient with a newbie like me. At the end they certified me to take the Hobie out in Mission Bay under my supervision. I then signed up for their monthly membership when you can take a boat out (which you're instructor approved) daily, pending availability. This is the best deal ever! Besides the instructors, the staff and dockmaster are super friendly and helpful. Facilities are very nice with restrooms, showers, and lockers. Highly recommend for anyone interested to learn to sail and/or take one out for an afternoon.
