It was soooo much fun cruising around the Bay. Did I mention that these are brand new 2021 jet skis? It felt super sturdy cruising on them and I didn't feel like I was gonna fall off lol. I was really worried at first about losing my personal belongings since it was my first time doing this, but there's plenty of secure storage built in. Life jackets are provided and the jet skis, itself, have great safety features so this is definitely beginner-friendly. Tip: bring sunscreen and sunglasses! But this is the right way to do it, esp with these frequently rented vehicles that can easily sustain minor damages if handled carelessly. The dude at the dock is also very helpful in helping you ride away from and approach the dock, the latter of which can be a little tricky. Other jetski rental services in the area have been far less clear and professional in my experience. And why deal with the choppy waves and high traffic of the Coronado area. Mission Bay's where it's at yo! And that makes this the go-to for some of the best jetskiing you can experience in SD and I'd say SoCal in general. We signed the waivers and we were off to the dock. The instructor gave clear direction on safety and walked us through the layout of the bay. Had a blast zipping through the water and getting fun views of Sea World nearby. The free parking was straight forward, just follow the signs, and there were several open spots. After we had a picnic on their lush lawn overlooking the bay where we just rode. It was nice getting to boat watch and see other jet skiiers enjoying the beautiful day. After a while, he finally walks over but he's still on the phone. He hands us an iPad to sign. Told us to sign, get a life jacket and meet him at the dock. He gets back on the phone and talks some more. He gave us no further instructions. That's so unsafe. He didn't know this was our 3rd time. If this was my first time, it would've been unacceptable. Besides this, the day was beautiful. We saw seals. Water was calm. The sky was clear.
