It's not a monster truck doing heavy hauling. It's been about 2 months so far and it rejuvenated my love for the truck...now if I can afford the fuel bill to drive it But it came with a 3 year 36k mile warranty and they said if anything happens just bring it in and they'll take care of it. Every nut and bolt touched on the transmission is QA paint marked, and the transmission and peripherals are spotless, which is a huge compliment considering the 20 years of baked on diesel grime it went in with that a pressure washer and a can of GUNK wasn't able to touch. The truck drives great, the shifts are quick, but not jerky and harsh. I don't think It's ever driven this good. Caution be warned, however, they'll have your vehicle for an extended period of time (depending on the work needed, obviously). Paul told me they average 10-15 days for a rebuild. Dropped it off Mid November, expecting to not have it for a couple weeks. Got the truck back on December 23, more than a month later. Spent about $1500 in rental fees to rent a truck and $400 in batteries when they told me they were dead (when you let it sit for a month...).

I was shown the oil and the crappy stuff that was in the oil which happened to be clutch material. So we decided to rebuild it. After that Joseph test drove it and it still had the issue, so they put it on the bench again and took it apart and found that the valve body wasn't working with the old housing so I guess that mine to be that one in a hundred housings the one so we decided to go ahead and get one off the shelf from either performance products Jegs or Summit so that's what we did and they put that in and I guess the one they put in had been put on Dyno for which is really a plus and has a three-year one million mile warranty, so I was jazzed about that! He did a quick preliminary diagnosis and gave me a fair quote for the alternator parts and labor. A few hours later, instead of just doing the expensive repair, he called me and explained that the alternator was actually fine -- the real problem was a wire that was shorting out and causing the symptoms. The repair ended up costing significantly less than expected because they were honest enough to fix the actual issue instead of replacing parts I didn't need. I also had them change the fluids and filters while it was there. He said it looked like my spark plugs needed changing as well. Everything was completed quickly and professionally. I called about a week and a half ago, around June 1st, to schedule a transmission service for my car. This shop was recommended to me by a family member and this shop did rebuild the transmission for my car about 8 months ago, so I figured I would give them repeat business. When I called, I asked to make an appointment for a Saturday morning and made it abundantly clear that I wanted to make sure someone would be at the shop because I was driving from over 30 miles away. They assured me a Saturday morning appointment would work. Well, Saturday the 10th rolls around. I wake up at 6:00am on my day off to make sure I get through caring for all the animals on the property and leave with enough time as to not keep the shop waiting. I show up exactly at 9am at the the shop, and nobody is there. I called the number I could find for the shop, and the lady that answered let me know she was "really sorry and forgot to cancel [my] appointment, but I did cancel all the other appointments I had on the calendar today." REALLY?! You remembered to call everyone you had scheduled EXCEPT for me, the one who was probably driving from the furthest distance?! AFTER I made that clear when I set the appointment?! Your apology did not put fuel in our vehicles, nor did it get back the hour and a half we spent driving, nor did it negate the fact that I had to wake up at the crack of dawn on my day off to accommodate YOUR weekend schedule. I will never give this shop my business again, nor will I ever recommend them. Their property looks like a junkyard, to boot. I may pay a little more elsewhere, but I'll get the service I expect (which is the bare minimum for customer service. I don't ask for a lot).
