This place is LEGIT. I have a 2017 Hyundai Elantra SE that was having some PROBLEMS. The dealership said over a thousand dollars worth of services were necessary, and as a college student I was not able to do that, and really just wanted a second opinion. I requested some help from Summit via Yelp and got a response within minutes. Carl is SO friendly and able to help the same day. I was able to get my oil changed, and they looked at the other "necessary" services that were suggested by my dealership and told me that over half of them weren't necessary, and even ended up finding a leak in my car that the dealership didn't even find. I ended up needing to replace all four tires, get an alignment, and fix that leak and was able to do it all for an UNBEATABLE price, while also having quality work done to my car. They finished my car within 24 hours even after needing to order the tires for my specific car. They also let me know in advance that it would take a little bit longer because of that, but I didn't mind. I will be coming back here for all issues and oil changes with my car, I felt very comfortable and trusting of the staff here which is so difficult as a young woman, especially after my terrible experience at the dealership. Avoid this shop. I brought my Jeep in for death wobble repairs with full warranty coverage, gave them video proof, and even confirmed with MaxCare that it was covered. For 3 days I was promised call-backs that never came. MaxCare told me I was the last person to contact them -- the shop never called once. When I showed up to take my Jeep back, suddenly the parts were "approved" after a week of nothing. The Technician Work Sheet and parts approval I got (attached) prove they had my car, logged the issue, and still did nothing. The people were polite, but that doesn't matter when they waste your time, give you conflicting stories, and don't fix your car. Go anywhere else if you actually want your vehicle repaired. *just got off the phone with MaxCare and the claim was made 6/23 and I dropped it off 6/16. They also lied about calling them, currently trying to get them removed from RepairPals. read more

About a month later now , car is completely worse then the problem I brought it in for. Car is misfiring in 3 cylinders when I brought it in to fix one. The girl working at the front desk was really nice and personable also. I asked them to look at my AC that has been giving me problems for months since I was already there. I took my car to Summit Transmission, and it was good vibes until it wasn't good business. They had my car for over two months and still didn't complete the work. Instead of getting the job done, they gave me constant runarounds, bad pricing, and failed to provide the correct information my insurance needed. Frustrated, I finally took my car to another shop I found through the Better Business Bureau, and they fixed it in just ONE day. That alone tells you everything you need to know about Summit Transmission. They might seem professional at first, but when it really matters, they drop the ball. Rather than just ignore my property. I met my mechanic, what a polite and competent young man. Carl handled the bid, received my vehicle and received my payment, which was exzackly the cost of the estimate. In their website they mention community support from a christian motivation. So far I've seen fruit in the way they run Summit Transmission and Auto Care. My job comes with a 2 year, 24,000 mile warranty.
