We stopped by Señor Masa on our way home from Lake Erie Bluffs, and we're so glad we did. Everything was outstanding. My wife and I shared a birria taco, a chicken taco, chips and guacamole, and a pork burrito--and every single item was delicious. You can tell the food is made with care, and the homemade quality really shines through in every bite. On our way out, we couldn't resist trying some of the homemade desserts. We picked up a chocolate chip cookie and a pecan shortbread cookie, and both were fantastic. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The outdoor patio is a great spot to enjoy a meal, and the food is truly authentic. If you're looking for exceptional tacos or burritos, Señor Masa is absolutely worth a visit. Finally tried Señor Masa via DoorDash, and it did not disappoint! Their take on Mexican cuisine is incredibly unique, offering complex flavors I haven't encountered elsewhere. I went all out and tried the shrimp flautas, corn fritters, wings, and a taco flight (birria, fish, and pork). The wings were a major highlight thanks to the citrusy, tangy heat of the house-made hot sauce. The corn fritters and fish taco were also delicious. Awesome new Mexican take out restaurant in town! My wife and I were excited to try this new place and it did not disappoint. I ordered the 3 tacos deal and my wife ordered the quesadillas. I tried to get the hot chocolate but they were out, luckily I went back another day to get more food and they had the hot chocolate and it was so good and unique because it's made with Mexican ingredients. I got the fish taco, birria taco and chicken tinga taco. The fish was the best by far! Took me back to eating tacos in Florida. The other 2 tacos were ok just a little one note on the flavor. My wife enjoyed her quesadilla but she tried my fish taco and loved it so much she got a couple of them the 2nd time we went! I also really enjoyed their veggie taco even though I'm not a vegetarian, I'm surprised how much flavor it had. Since then I've tried their smash burger taco and that was really good too. If you want fresh and authentic, this is the place to go. The wife and husband team show their love for what they make in any and all of the meals that I have tried. The resturants might be tiny but you are capable of eating your meal inside. I have enjoyed their corn fritters and their birria bowl. Plus their zucchini bread. Try a different style of street tacos. Tortillas = fresh and the combination of protein and add ons were really complimentary. My Tacos were delicious. The price is a little high for street tacos to me but these are more like gourmet street tacos so I can see the prices. Wife did not care for the rice it was not very flavorful. I had the pinto beans and they were kinda bland too. Will go back and try more things. The area is small more of a take out joint. It was just me and my wife so good seating for us. The staff is friendly and helpful. Decor is welcoming. If you're looking for a change of pace from Tex Mex joints or a little flare from La Mexicano this would be the spot. Met the husband and wife team that are the proprietors and they were warm and took their time to engage in conversation about their business and their passion for food. I ordered the 3 tacos(cochinita pibil, birria beef and chicken Tinga) and a chicken Tinga bowl to try and sample the flavors. Hands down have found my favorite cochinita pibil taco from any place I've ever had(this is right in our town!!!).
