I'm so glad I tried Condado! The food was exceptional and the service was very pleasant. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted and seated. The restaurant is very clean, and there is always something to look at while you're there; the lamps above the bar have the coolest skull shades, and the artwork on the walls give Condado great character. Our server was very sweet, and we noticed her managing both tables and the bar. One of the things that stood out to me was that they were sanitizing the menus, which made the experience more comforting. I loved making my own bowl with chicken and their variety of options of toppings and sauces (the cilantro-lime aioli was my favorite). Overall my experience here was really good. The food (Chicken bacon ranch burrito) was amazing and it came out really quickly. The service was really nice and let us take our time. Too much bad about this restaurant. Slow Saturday so the slow service with 6 servers and only about 12 guests is surprising. I ordered the house lime margarita and the wife a pineapple margarita, both very tasteless, which carried over to the food. I had the easy pleasy burrito and wife had barbecue pork Korean bowl. Neither was seasoned with any spices, so they were very bland. My burrito came in a plastic basket, what you normally find at a hotdog stand, and the wife's bowl was in a cardboard container, both with plastic utensils. After two bites we left. A stop at Condado was needed prior to a taco trail stop later. What a fun looking place. The inside has a ton of lights and friendly, bright colors. The 3 buds was picked to include, chorizo queso, pico guac and pineapple salsa. The chorizo queso was my favorite. It works well as a leftover! The tequila-lime taco had a surprisingly nice kick to it. If I stop in for dinner in the future, I'll have to have more of the other tacos they offer. The staff was quick and informative. Great service, fun atmosphere, but quite possibly the worst meal I've eaten yet. I ordered guac and chips. The chips were thick and tasteless and the guac loaded with so many jalapeños I couldn't eat it as it burned my tongue. There was a pile of very pink mystery substance on top of the guac. The Feast was happening so I think it stole a good chunk of business from the eateries all around Cleveland. Our bartender was awesome and we enjoyed our meal and trying different margaritas. That was the time I finally got the loaded tots! They are epic! You get a few of these larger than tot, tot balls loaded up with their amazing queso. So good! We went again yesterday, because as I said we are addicted. We ordered multiple margaritas, build your own tacos, the bad habit taco, queso, salsa and chips. Everything was great! What was cooler? Gabby and Shelby! These girls are all star bartenders! Not only are they great at their jobs, efficient and friendly, they know their stuff!! Gabby shared with us that they had the Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston tequila and that there is a contest to get them to come guest bartend! Excellent lunch today. Traditional deep colored full art work on the ways but this location seems to be a much more open setting included lofted garage doors to provide and outside atmosphere. They also have a nice outside seating area. Very friendly and good service. The queso was good with crab chips. Had the Lucy's Fire which was excellent. Soft shell over the hard shell and packed with fresh and tasty ingredients. Traditional chorizo was also very tasty. My wife enjoyed her tacos and loved the street corn. Might be an unpopular opinion but this place is DEF better than barrio on all fronts. The margs are not watered down and can be customized with fruit purée (a bartender suggested banana-jalapeño but I just had banana and was super surprised by it). Tacos are very tasty and can are a bit more spicy and flavorful too. I enjoyed the chips ok but prefer a thin chip and while the queso is decent, we got the chorizo queso and it had about a tablespoon of chorizo in it so off goes a star. Note: the tacos are slightly bigger and more stuffed than other places. Don't let the pricing fool you - 2 is a lot. One of our fav spots! It beats some local competition.. we love the variety. The vegan options are good & plenty. You don't have to default to one menu item here.. there are several plant based options to choose from. I usually get a different line up each time we visit. Change is good! Overpriced version of Taco Bell. I moved out of Ohio a year ago and just came back for a week to visit with friends and family. Had a craving for Condado Tacos and spent $15 on the worst 3 tacos I've ever gotten from there. They changed the menu and everything is build your own. The portion sizes were very skimpy. Let me start off by saying that the decor at this spot is very cute! My daughter and I started off with the street corn dip. The dip was pretty good. It could've used more seasonings and cheese. The chips are homemade so we definitely loved that. Then we shared their chicken nachos. OMG! It was delicious. We kept it simple. Chicken, queso, lettuce and queso fresco. Generally I avoid places that are new for a few months just so they can figure things out and I am normally a fellow that goes to barrio Taco but this is pretty much like the same thing. It does have a pretty good bar in the middle and the idea is of course you can order tacos wrap the menu or you can do the build your own taco thing. I kept it simple ordered two chicken tacos while my wife ordered two shrimp tacos. So I guess my reason number one is that it's pretty pricey It's almost $6 a taco but my only comparison is that to barrio. It was over 20 bucks just for four tacos and a taco so we're not very big either. My chicken taco was certainly tasty definitely spicy and did the job after my chips and salsa we did order a side of queso as well. The case it was probably my most favorite because they had little chunks of meat or sausage or something inside of it to taste it really good. Server is also nice and they order everything up table side Place was new and clean as you would expect it to be. My wife's shrimp tacos however seemed kind of an odd experiment. First she said the shrimp did not taste good at all normally she is a shrimp aficionado however she said they tasted off. Granted everything here in Ohio has to be frozen and shipped in so obviously shrimp won't be fresh but she said they definitely did not taste good as in if she would have kept eating them she might have experienced some sort of bowel distress. She also said that the tacos were exceptionally unnecessarily hot and spicy where we weren't out of insurance sure that's what they were going for with these tacos but that's what we ended up getting she picked through it was overly unimpressed with it didn't really care for it My tacos I could have eaten about eight more. With a couple of beers the bill came to somewhere over $55 which might be a little heavy for four tacos and a couple beers but I guess that's kind of where we are today everything costs a fortune. The painted murals are so cool and so fun to look at. The whole vibe is awesome. It would be cool in nice weather with the big door open. We started with the sampler trio (we got the mini sizes of pineapple guacamole, street corn, and smoked cheddar queso). Oh my gosh the smoked cheddar queso - next time we come, we'll get a large one of those. I got the Korean bbq taco, and my husband got a Sweet heat (brisket) and some dream one (blanking on the name). They were so good! Salsa was pretty good, street corn was amazing. We had shredded chicken tacos and Tex-Mex ground beef tacos, they were so good. The sauces are a great plus. Erica was perfect for us. We got take-out from Condado today and it was SO delish! My husband got the El Tradicional and The Heater, which he said were very good and nice portions. We also got the Bud Box on the Rocks with an Ooey-Gooey and Power Plant tacos which both had a nice kick to them. I love their chips - they hold up nicely with the yummy queso. I did think the salsa was a bit on the watery side but very tasty. I got a jalapeno margarita and my husband got a peach one - love a good cocktail to go. I definitely will be choosing Condado over any taco place near me. Barrio and Baraco do not even compare. The drinks are amazing! I love that they offer the margarita flight. The queso options were outstanding. If you like mexican street corn you need to go to condado! They have a mexican street corn dip that is to die for! The chorizo queso was also very good in my opinion and I have never been a fan of chorizo before. The place is new and things always tend to change but 10/10!
