So we recently set up a saltwater aquarium and decided to check this place out. Super smart folks that work here. There isn't a question regarding saltwater aquariums, lighting, fish etc that they can't answer. They sell everything you need or want for your tank even the saltwater already made! They can also order anything they might not have in stock. Setting up a saltwater tank is expensive. Having knowledgeable folks around can save you $$. read more

Very small facility, tanks didn't look clean at all, and many fish looked unhealthy with marks on their body.

Great place that will help you know what you need and when. In a gadget-filled hobby where it's far too easy to over-spend it's good to have real guidance vs someone wanting to make a sale. Same goes for livestock, which is valuable to limit frustration in reef keeping. Pricing is also fair. Researched the set up They priced out for me vs online w home set up added and did far better buying from them + I hv a store that knows my exact set up at home. This really helps w stocking and trouble shooting the tank. Going back to reef keeping after 18 yrs and glad I went w this location. read more

A few months ago I had Sea in the City set up a new tank in my new home, move the corals and fish from the reef tank in the house I was selling, and redesign the setup. Defenitely the best in Orlando, Central FL! I've been a loyal customer to Marcey and SITC staff for 10 years now. I had a 120 gallon stocked and serviced while traveling for my job and now a 10 gallon and have NEVER had any issues! There fish and corals are absolutely amazing and very healthy. I've been to numerous stores throughout Florida including ones in West palm beach, Lakeland, Bradenton, Sarasota, Sebring, and many of the stores in Orlando. The first thing you should know if that this store has the best prices. They have a lot of great quality coral and a lot of it was grown in their own tanks. This store also has such a great staff. I really enjoyed getting help from Joseph. He was knowledgeable, honest and wanted to help you. He even gave me a tip on moving to Orlando since I mentioned i was moving to the area. Everything I've bought from this store has done exceptionally well in my tank. My pom pom crab and sexy shrimp are also something I found at this store. Those are a tank favorite among my visitors. Can't begin to say enough good things about Sea In The City in Orlando, FL. I have an 8 year old whose latest fascination is all things saltwater tank related. He found this place online on a youtube video he saw and begged me to visit during our recent trip to Orlando. He enjoyed every minute he could get spent talking with Joseph, a marine biologist who works there and gave him lots of pointers about what to consider and do when starting up a saltwater tank. My son spent a lot of time looking at all the tanks and items they have on display. The one person was even petting the tangs in the one tank, I've never seen fish cozy up to a person so even that impressed me. Super kudos to Joseph for all the helpful information.
