The dog park is big and is separated into two (2) section, a large and small section, perhaps for larger and smaller dogs? The entire dog park is perhaps the same size of a half a football field? Large. There are water bowls and a trash can but we did found dog waste in the park, not picked up by their owners which is unfortunate. But overall is it was nice. I would say about 2/3 of the park is sand and 1/3 grass. I would return to take my dog here.

While visiting the beach for the day, I brought my dogs here to let some energy out. I was not expecting there to be a group of regulars here so early. Right away they welcomed us and our dogs played nicely together. There are three sections to the dog park. One for large dogs on the left, the middle for senior dogs, and the right side for smaller dogs. There are places to sit, waste stations, water, and a dog wash. My dogs had a great time running around and meeting everyone. The park provides ample shade and room to run around. The dog owners were attentive and welcoming. They provided recommendations for places to visit in the area and one gave me a sticker after her dog jumped up on me (so creative and hilarious). Apple maps will take you to a parking lot by the arboretum and pond. The sign does not mention the dog park, but it is a close walk nearby. There is a parking lot closer to the dog park if you do not want to walk as far. Overall, great experience at this park and we recommend it to others!

My dogs and I enjoyed walking through the arboretum before watching the turtles in the pond. The arboretum is free and open each day from sunrise to sunset. They offer sensory gardens, handicap accessible trails, outdoor programming, butterfly highway, and more! It offers a lovely area to connect with nature and learn about our ecosystem. Overall we had a good experience and recommend it to others!

Come at sunset on a good day and you'll get a great photo moment. If we want a decadent meal of our favorite fried foods, then we come here. The dood is freshly fried, no soggy food here. Our Daves are their huge basket of fries. The onion rings were so deliciously crunchy. They serve beer and wine. In the off season, they have drink specials as low as $3 for standard beer and $5 for a nice craft. Staff is always friendly. Follow their social media because there's either a band or open mic or karaoke.
