Good, clean and the kids loved it. Will definitely visit again when we return. Plenty for the family to do on a nice day.

It has a tennis court and a gym(members only) on the second floor. Place is impeccably clean including the bathroom. It has shower rooms and small place to change. That's why the four star. Small patch of lawn is well manicured. However, the woman working the day of Aug. 21 at around 12noon turned us off. Her manner of telling the kids not to stay in the lap lane or not holding on to the pool rope divider verged on rude reprimand and she did this while on her cell phone. We never came back. It was probably the intention. Not that it matters to her or Sanderling. It was our first time renting a house without a pool. Lesson learned. The older guy was nicer.

Still fairly new nautilus equipment, med balls, and cardiovascular equipment. The fitness center is on the second floor of a new clubhouse and looks out a bank of floor to ceiling windows with gorgeous views of the sound. The cardio is also hooked up to cable TV so come watch Sportscenter or an episode of Law and Order and get an hour in on the treadmill with a beautiful view. 2 - Clubhouse - the new clubhouse is great. Large screen TV if you want to get together with some friends. Even the bathrooms for the pool are very nice and high end. 3 - Crab dock - make sure to get some line, a net, and seem chicken and see how many blue crabs you can pull in! 4 - Pool - very good functional pool. Has a lap lane for those who want to get a workout it. A pool that still has a dive pool deep enough to dive. Wish the pool had a beach entry but it was built too long ago. There is a kids pool for the little ones. 5 - Tennis courts - always in good shape. Make sure to call the pool to reserve your time.

Especially since it can get quite hot while down here. There is so much to do in this park. Throughout the year, and especially in the summer, they have events. During the summer, it is almost daily events that you can partake in. They had music in the park one night, but with our place being so close, all we had to do was sit on the porch to listen. There is also a farmer's market, exercising in the park, I believe art in the park. If that is not your thing, there is definitely things here that could keep you busy. It should go without saying, there is a stage/bandshell area. There is a picnic area if you wanted to bring food and hang out. If you have kids, they definitely have you covered here. There is a decently sized playground (right near the public restrooms, convenient). This playground is quite extensive and inclusive. Slides, swings, seesaws, monkey bars...you name it, it is here. A lot of them are wheelchair accessible. Then there is the sandbox, complete with a turtle making it look like you are on the beach. The sidewalks here are interesting as well. Every so often you will see a seashell in the cement. Turtle tracks near the sandbox. Fossils on the climbing rocks for the jungle gym. They really put some thought into this place. Also available here for you to enjoy, horseshoe pit, cornhole, basketball court, pickle ball court, and bocce ball court. The thing about the bocce ball court, they have the state champs for Special Olympics here, complete with a plaque of sorts. One of the neatest thing here, you know those free little libraries? They got one that is a little free art library. Tiny little pieces of art that you can take with you. Bookmarks, small drawings, magnets, shells, all free for the taking. Supplied by the local community or those visiting.

On Thursdays there's a nice farmers and craft market. There's a nice produce stand with lots of local product. Many of the stalls are local artists and bakers. I love lots of the beach theme products, all very good quality.

Tuesdays are for kids only. The rest of the week is open to all ages. Saturdays offer two-hour sessions for beginners and/or those who have not played in a while and would like some refreshers. Saturdays also offer Feeding Frenzy. Very reasonable membership price - and if you're not a member, affordable session prices of $20 per hour. Lessons are available as well. New addition of Cornhole more recently which have been set up for true tournament (or leisure) play. They did a great job with the setup of this new space. If you want to play tennis, learn tennis, or improve your tennis...regardless of your level, I highly recommend checking out Cape Henry. They have a wonderful community of members, coaches and staff, alike.

My daughter was signed up for afternoon tennis camp the week of July 21. On the 18th, I was informed it was canceled due to too few people signed up and I'd be issued a refund. I have called 4 times to inquire about my refund. Of course, I get VM every time. No one has returned my call and I have not received my refund. I'm hesitant to ever do business with them again if they cannot follow thru on something as simple as issuing a refund when they fail to deliver a service. I'm hoping this review will get their attention and someone finally returns my call!

There are I think four outdoor courts and two indoor ones under a temperature controlled tent/dome thingy. There's a little shop there too that sells tennis stuff. They host tournaments and offer lessons of all sort--including cheap group lessons on weeknights with no commitment. I've always wanted to check those out but haven't had a chance yet. The only thing about Owl Creek is it's kind of out in the boonies. OK, maybe not the boonies, but it sure feels like a hike.
