Unit 702N Kitchen is well stocked could use a good deep cleaning the ceiling fans are filthy you don't want to run them the one in the front bedroom has a thick very noticeable dirt on it. Poor water pressure in the front shower. Wi-fi connection is poor this is a 3 BR unit with 2 1/2 bathrooms just the front BR has a tub. the price of this unit is a bit expensive you would think they could at least have a cleaned unit for the cost! Nice ocean view short walk to the beach. Nice outdoor pool view as well Very strict with their rules check in is 4 pm one person only allowed in the office area at one time No late check out available without an extra cost! read more

One star is too much. Save your money and stay somewhere else. Internet is sporadic at best. Beds were terrible, linens were ratty, pillows were flat. Coffee pot base was rusted as were even the kitchen scissors. It appeared the Bathroom had not been cleaned since last summer. Windows sills were rotting and flaky. Had to wait until exactly 4 to check in even though it was late September and there were maybe 3 groups there. The office folks were none too polite. When we got to the unit, it was late 70s decor and in need of a serious update. Linens were old and spotty. When following directions to strip linens at the end of the stay, the mattress was stained. I'm so mad at myself for putting up with it for 3 days but it was free thanks to an exchange and we were in town for Ocean's Calling (so moving anywhere would have been astronomical). I didn't see any pests, but broken mirror in the closet door (which again speaks to furnishings and decor) and old dirt layered in corners was nasty. We've been unit owners here for years, and have had many, many complaints during that time. Chief among those is the attitude of the people in the office. There is zero warmth in the way they speak to you; they lack good communication skills, except to post signs all over to tell you what you can't do. If you arrive late on the weekend, they'll leave your key in the mailbox, but won't give you the internet password until business hours on Monday! Speaking of the internet, it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. There is a hot tub and sauna in the common area, but it seems like every time we come off season, the hot tub is broken. We haven't seen mice or roaches, but we've seen evidence of them, and the last time we arrived at our condo for the week, they had sprayed an awful smelling chemical that required us to keep the sliding door open all evening in 50-degree weather. And, by the way, no courtesy extended to tell you that they've had to spray your condo. One time they resurfaced the outside hallways with a terrible smelling chemical that permeated our apartment. When we complained, the response was - open the windows. No offer to move us to a different floor. The rooms are outfitted with decades-old furniture and accessories. They used to have smart TVs but replaced them with "new" models that cannot stream, forcing us to buy a Roku stick. The rooms are cleaned well, I'll give them that. But the provided linens are very flimsy now; the kitchen supplies are old or missing; the toilets are ancient and often don't flush well, and the air vents probably have never been cleaned. The reason we keep coming back is the fabulous ocean view, as long as your units are on the 6th floor or above, which ours are. The beach is a few steps away and it's in a quiet part of town well north of the boardwalk. Yearly fees are modest - maybe that's why the infrastructure is so needy. It's all about location here - not much else. read more

Had a great time staying at this resort. While they may be strict about their hours and policies, we found the owners to be extremely kind and patient with us arriving 10 minutes later than closing after a very long drive. The apartment was very clean and had everything we required for a beautiful week's day. The location can't be beat as you were right on the corner at the ocean. read more

Run away from this dump!! It is an old, outdated, dirty, and badly run place. The office people are terribly rude, there are signs everywhere that tell you "not to do this or that", sooo many restrictions and incredibly small rooms. The kitchen in a one bedroom is galley style which means very small and narrow..only one person at a time can be in it. The stove has gunk on it, pans are old as are the cups and utensils. The bathroom is tiny..you hit your knee on the toilet trying to get into the crappy shower. Towels are small and very thin. Two twin beds in the tiny bedroom. RCI needs to warn people before they book this dump....a terrible place to stay. read more

RUN! infested with roaches. Couldn't wait to leave. Left early and lost money on this week vacation! Room 406 north was old, ratty, nasty and did I mention ROACH INFESTED!! A/C not working. Everything in until was old, worn and in tatters. NOT CLEAN. Mattress cover had blood stain. Building was not maintained properly and it's sad, because the proximity to the beach was the only positive thing I can say about it. read more

Horrible! very outdated. checked in Friday, Saturday night sitting at table and playing cards, mice started running around!!! called emergency number and mgmnt did respond quickly by putting us two floors down in another room. had to pack everything up and move while the little pest was still running around. Not my idea of vacation. We left next day , cuz there's not one mouse in the condo? they're all over obviously. Very outdated. 30 yr old coffee maker and pillows! cheap things to replace! This place is outdated, the WiFi barely works if at all, and the pool closes at 4pm if they even decide they feel like opening it. They shouldn't even bother having a pool. The management is utterly rude. I tried to help my 81 year old mother check in and before I could get a word out of my mouth, the man behind the plastic sheet in the management office started yelling at me to, "get out"! I tried to explain to him that I was with her trying to help her, and he cut me off and told me there was a sign, stating only one person at a time. Spring break vacation in North OCMD. First time I've spent a week in town since 1967 as I've gravitated to the Jersey Shore, OBX and Ocean Pines since... OC has been a business and off season destination, however. Honestly? Sea Time is dated. Very dated. Yet, most appliances, TVs and bath fixtures are recent. Heck, if the stuff works, it's all good! The place, ours being a three bedroom unit, is large. And comfortable. With a soothing ocean view. Yes, management is quirky. Yes, at check in I was lectured and silenced when I had questions when the boss said "I'll get to that." He did. All questions were answered. All bath and kitchen linens along with starter stuff were bundled into nifty, wrapped ensembles. More than enough for the five of us. Although the unit was a little drafty, the heat pump warmed up to the occasion. Plates, cups and utensils adequate. The unit, overall, is clean. WiFi? Erratic. Hit or miss. When it does work it's best in the living and MBR. Don't bring your streaming devices, though. Too little bandwidth. A lot of rules and regulations. Every linen assigned a replacement value if an item should make its way home with you. There's a calm here as we are far enough from Coastal Highway noise and close enough to the beach to hear the surf Ahhh. Sea Time may not be everyone's tea time but I liked it enough to come back again in the future. read more

My family and I have been coming to OCMD for 10 years...we left for about 10 years...vacationed other spots...so we were really excited to come back and relive memories. Over the 10 years we acquired a timeshare which we happily exchanged for the sea time. It has an affiliation with Rci...we got here and we werent impressed..nor disappointed. The sea time has an oldschool charm. However, 2 nights in I noticed bites on my fingers...i've had bed bugs before but I didnt really think anything of it. In my previous experience with bites they were all over my body. My mom lifted her mattress to find a dead bedbug...we grabbed the manager for him to find 3 crawling. Then we find out that the north building had a bedbug problem...I'm like seeee ya! The manager moved us to another room which was dirty...dealing with bed bugs once in a lifetime is already once too much...i understand that the bed bugs aren't the fault of the management, but when we told the manager that the room he moved us too was dirty he said he knew his cleaning crew was incompetent...just what I want to hear read more

Close to the beach is the only plus. Everyone on office duty had an attitude... Pool after 6pm? Forget it. No "resort" type amenities at all, not even a soda machine. Want ice... Use it to chill, but look out for the mold growing in the ice box. Pullout bed is like sleeping on a pole. If you're a family of five, there are barely towels for four; need more - bring your own because no dice on even an extra wash cloth. Cool evening, bring a blanket too. Upon arriving at sea time after a 4 hour drive,w all I wanted to do was get to a bathroom. Imagine my disappointment when there was no toilet paper on the spool. The TP is with the supplies. Really? You can't leave a roll of TP in the bathroom? There is HOT water &the room is clean, especially the bathroom. We needed maintenance on Labor day and they came within an hour. I just expected a more comfortable stay, SOME MODERN DAY CONVENIENCES. The door has a good old fashioned key. There are soooo many rules which they're certain to point out to you at check in. One rule is to strip the sheets b4 you leave....seriously? The beds are doubles. My husband & I haven't slept in a double bed for years. A queen is assumed in any place I've ever stayed. Internet is spotty at best making it impossible to work from a laptop. read more

I stayed here for an extended girlfriend's weekend March 31 - April 3, 2017. One of the ladies rented through her timeshare RCI. We stayed in the 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath condo. Definitely extremely outdated, moldy smelling, dry rotten blinds, stains on the couch and love seat. Absolutely NO amenities and I agree the man in the office is as rude as they come! I didn't feel comfortable using the towels so I went out and brought my own, but I'm picky and the towels were dingy. We didn't experience bedbugs and the place was decently cleaned. The carpet in our unit looked relatively new. I gave this place two stars instead of one because the view of the beach from the balcony...absolutely beautiful; and after getting over the shock of walking into the 1950s I believe I would've like this place in 1950. I think it's boils down to your preference. Personally I would prefer an upgraded place with upgraded furniture, bathrooms, kitchen and couches that are not stained. If you're picky you probably won't like this place. If you're easy-going willing to overlook all the things I mentioned above and being next to the beach is important this place might work for you. read more

My family has been time share owners at Sea Time for about 40 years and we have a great time. We look forward to our beach weeks and it's the most fun vacation we have. Over the years we have bought more time share weeks as the extended family has grown to accommodate us all. We also bring friends and family each year. Located right on the beach so we pack up our beach wagon and the kids and we are ready to build sandcastles and play in the ocean in only a few minutes. If you are looking for a 4-5 star resort that costs 2-3 times as much with every amenity Sea Time is not it, but personally I don't want to pay for a lot of amenities that I don't usually use. Few things get me more upset than paying a daily resort fee at some fancy hotel for things I don't use. With all the money we save by staying at Sea Time we use that for Mini-golf, fishing, boating, boardwalk, eating out, jet ski, scopes pictures, amongst other activities. Sea Time is also conveniently located near Northside park which is amazing for family's. Our family bonds so much by staying at Sea Time and saving money by doing so it opens up all of ocean city for us to spend money doing other activities together. Besides sleeping overnight in our room we don't spend that much time inside the condo as we are busy most of the day. As far as management goes they have always been fair and kind to us. They reply to our emails within 1 business day. There are rules to follow just like any establishment and management enforces those rules and I appreciate knowing what I am going to get year to year. Follow the rules people. If something is broken they fix it in a timely fashion. We have looked at other hotels and condos in OC besides Sea Time and I haven't found another that would meet our family needs as well. Since we have fixed weeks we are now making friends with others that come the same week. Kids play together, adults talk. I would appreciate a better internet connection though which is about the only negative thing I can say. I ordered a week's spring vacation from a sale sponsored by RCI. Upon my arrival, the checkin process was easy as we followed instructions that were mailed to us prior to our arrival. As we entered the room, we noticed stains on the couch, loveseat and chair. We also noticed the furniture smelled old and mildewed. We then realized this was an older facility which needed upgrading. We were on the 7th floor and the view of the beach was magnificent. The flat screen TV was nice with a dvd player on the side. However, the pantry equipment (stove, refrigerator and utensils) were old and needed replacement. We also experienced a bed bug problem but did not realize it until a day before check out. Red bumps started to appear all over my body and the itching was horrific. As I returned home, I had to battle the bites with cortizone and benadryl. Ive never experienced a bed bug problem and hope to never experience it again. Next time I will be more selective in my vacation choices. read more

Nice location close to the beach access. We stayed in a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath condo with a view of the ocean and pool. Elevators are quick. The condo is pretty roomy. The 2 front bedrooms have a double and twin size beds. The master has a king size and its own sliding door to the balcony. They provide wash cloths, hand towels, floor mat for tub, and plenty of bath towels as well as kitchen towels, some detergent for the dishwasher and liquid dish soap, coffee filters, pot holders, dish sponge and trash bags, the beds are comfortable and I found NO evidence of bed bugs!!! Televisions in all bedrooms and living room. The condo is very outdated, and the drop down tiling in the bathroom freaked me out, but it's a small eye sore. I had to buy some cleaner and wipe out the dresser drawers and hand clean all the bathroom floors, I am a little picky when it comes to cleanliness...but there was hair and little rocks all over the bathroom floors. Yuck! All in all, it's a nice place to stay, we enjoyed our time!!! read more

My family and I have stayed at Seatime a few times over the past few summers, after being told about it from a family friend. Although it does provide an old school charm and fairly easy access to the beach, the place continues to do downhill. There are quite a few condos rented by 3rd parties, not the establishment itself, and they are clean and fairly affordable. However, the over all conditions of Seatime are pretty bad. Most notably, we have had quite a few run-ins with the management at the property and always encounter a very brash, bordering on rude response from the man charge, not matter how small the issue. That isn't to say you shouldn't visit SeaTime is you are looking for a bargain vacation. In other words, shop around and remember you get what you pay for. read more

it's unfortunate I am writing this review, considering I am not the type to complain or have ever wrote a review in a negative way but this visit was a little too much. My family and I were at the pool having a fun time and my little nephew who is only 5 years old was hanging on the railing of the pool. My mother was in the pool with my nephew watching him. The pool attendant loudly yells "Get off the railing" my nephew obviously didn't hear her and she yells ignorantly again "Dude, (throws her hands up) Get off the railing", if you don't I will kick you out of the pool". I was not happy, personally you do not talk to a kid like that. It was unnecessary, my little nephew was upset for the rest of the day because she had hurt his feelings. We were all upset about it so my mother goes to talk to the manager and he basically stands up for the pool attendant and basically blew her off. This place is not a family oriented place I do not recommend to stay here if you have kids. Hope this helps others. read more

It's unfortunate I have to write this review considering my family has owned a timeshare here for 35 years. I've stayed here twice year, every year for practically my entire life. This year was particularly disappointing. Let me start out by telling you about the property owner Mr Flag. He is a mean, nasty, and cheap old bastard. He doesn't give two craps about anyone in the condominiums whether they are owners or not. We brought our 8 month old to the beach for the first time this year. He was born 12 weeks early, so this trip was particularly special to me. First off, the timeshare is never actually clean. I felt the need to clean up when we first got there because everything seemed gross. I found out my concerns were legitimate when we discovered the ant infestation in the kitchen. Now keep in mind, we had just gotten there. There was no food left out, it's just a dirty place. This year I brought a lot of food to cook instead of going out to eat because, well, babies are expensive. I noticed the first time I tried to cook something in the oven that the numbers on the oven dial were completely scrubbed off. You could see the numbers 200 and 225, but then nothing until 450-500. Have fun guessing how hot the oven is! The dishes provided are literally older than I am and are cracked, and not surprisingly, covered in a film. The place is so poorly maintained that there are even exposed wires in some places. Despite the fact that Flag is a complete and utter dick about check in and checkout times because they need the time to "clean and have maintenance come in". Yea, right, but we'll get back to checkout times. The super stylish and totally not 30+ year old blinds that are hung at the balcony door fall down as soon as you try to pull them back to go outside. We finally stopped picking them up and left the 7 that fell down, on the floor till we checked out. Oh, and don't forget the HUGE piece of broken glass pane from the storm door that instead of being thrown out, was propped up against the wall outside our unit. Super family friendly! Speaking of that, Flag is so cheap that he won't keep their shitty pool open after 6pm because he doesn't want to pay for someone to sit down there. Um, in August the sun is out till past 8pm, easy. I could go on, but let's get to the real reason I'm writing this. Like I said in the beginning of this review, I've been coming here for 32 years. I'm well aware of checkout time, it's 10am. People have to come in and clean and provide that fantastic maintenance of course! This year, like I mentioned before, we brought our 8 month old son. He just so happens to be teething, and was acting pretty miserable the morning we left. I couldn't pack and entertain him, so we didn't get out until 10:27. We just brought everything downstairs to the car and worked on packing right then, instead of packing some each trip down. At 10:50, we were ready to go, and I went to return the keys to the front office. Some little prick sitting at the desk told me we were going to be charged a $50 dollar late checkout fee. I explained that we had be out for 30 minutes, I just didn't return the keys right away. This pompous ass proceeded to tell me that they count the time as when you return keys. We had let the cleaning ladies in before we even finished bringing stuff downstairs, so it's not like we were holding them up. I mentioned we had been owners for over 30 years without ever checking out late, and he said to me "well then you should have known the checkout time". Um, excuse me? I am well aware of the checkout time, unfortunately I had never had the luxury of checking out of there with a teething baby before. This little bitch of a man couldn't even be bothered to make eye contact, and said he would discuss it with MR Sinclair. Yep, I'm a woman, I can't be trusted with talk of money! I thought Flag might cut me some slack, but no. Not only did he raise his voice at me, but he cursed too. Yes, so family friendly. I love Ocean City, and I honestly used to love SeaTime too, but for $700+ a year for maintenance fees with zero disregard for owners or their property I say screw them.
