Well I have been going to Leslies for 7 years, and I am done with them! I needed to get my pool filters cleaned and last time I was at Leslies I was SCOLDED, because I hadn't had them done with in 6 months. So I went to Sea Turtle. Booked my appointment, told them what I needed. Firstly Sea Turtle is CHEAPER for getting your filters cleaned, buy $30, bye bye Leslies. They offer you cheaper alternatives to doing things. And when the young man came to do my filters, he had the wrong ones with him, Don't worry Maam I will be back with the right ones. Yes he was and he also brought some treats for my dogs. They all knew what they were talking about and didn't treat me like an Idiot, like Leslies has done on many occasion. Every one do yourselves a favor, and go see Kathy and her staff, they treat you like a real person. read more

They were great when it came to weekly service. But they seem to be money hungry. They told us we needed a new pump. When in fact they never told us a pool cleaner was a cheaper easier fix. Then when I called them to find a reason why my pool pump wasn't working they said it was something that it completely wasn't after paying 45 bucks for the piece and 35 for the service. Then when that didn't work they it was something else. We went to another company and it took them about 5 minutes to find the issue. Weekly service is great. But I would like for outside help with other issues cause they will bill you till they find the issue, guessing along the way. read more

This is going to be a long review, unlike the service we experienced!! I came upon this company by pure accident, thought it was Leslie's. At any rate, Amy was incredible when I gave her a water sample and she gave me instructions with everything to do-well done!! My other half and I decided to use their pool service, as it was a family owned business and we are all about supporting the little guys. There came a point where we needed new filters, to which we purchased them from Sea Turtle and Mark even came to our house to help install them correctly, for that I commend you, although when I got a phone call (we reside in Canada) indicating those filters were all cracked and needed to be replaced, I inquired about some kind of warranty, to which we were told- since THEY did not install them, there was no warranty (less than 6 months) HHMM, but Mark WAS at our house!! Anyways, the other half came back to Arizona in December and was shocked with all the debris in our skimmer basket, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. I came down in January, and in about March I felt my pool was not being cleaned properly, so will my blinds all closed and everything put away, I watched through a window as the pool service person came into my yard, went around to where the pumps etc. are and he never came from around there for 7 minutes-7 minutes!!! And that's only from the time I decided to time him!!! He then comes back to the pool, grabs his bucket and poles and leaves!! Like are you kidding me!!!! So I immediately get on the phone and get the assistant manager (Sabrina) and tell her what happened and asked for Kathy to which she was not at the store yet, but she would give her the message and get a hold of Kathy's son, Nathan and find out what's going on. Sabrina phones me back and says he is doing another pool but will come back as soon as he is done, to which I ask, "What did he say when you asked him about not doing anything here?" She said he admitted to doing nothing here. He comes back, does a 3 minute job and leaves. Kathy phones me later on that day, and all she can say is "Sabrina did the right thing by asking Nathan to come back." WOW, seriously!!!! She had no ownership or accountability. This is YOUR business, family or not!! Then she tells me that she has gone with him several times and he always does a great job! Ya think???!!!! Then she tells me she is going to come with him the next time to make sure he does everything right. So I asked about brushing the walls down, and she says she doesn't instruct him to do the walls until April-WTF!! Of course I had already paid for service until the end of March (he came 2 more times), but Kathy never came with him. On the last day, we asked for the gate key back and informed him we wouldn't need his services (or should I say, the lack there of!!) I phoned the store 3 times and no one answered so I sent an e-mail to Kathy telling her not to run my card the first of the month. Her reply was " She couldn't come and check if everything was done right because she had to look after the store, disagreed with me saying she was unconcerned, Nathan was having issues that day, and we did have him go back." Ownership and accountability lady, no wonder you closed your store in Tolleson!!! read more

Asked for an estimate on getting my pool ready for summer because I am a first time pool owner. They come out while I am at work, which is fine, and provide me an estimate. Estimate seemed high but in alll fairness it could be a reasonable price. I pay them. When work is scheduled to be started (at work again) they told me my filter pump was broke and work couldnt be completed. I flip a few breakers and adjust the timers on the pool subpanel they had access to and pump and filter are working. Asked for a refund of my money. They told me I will only receive part of it. No work done to my pool but they still get paid. I would have given it 1 star but they did show up. I have to give credit where it is due I guess. read more

We made a appt. 2 weeks in advance for the owner to come out and show us how to properly operate our pool. 2 hours after he was to come by we called him and were informed he was running late but yet did not have the courtesy to call and let us know since we had another apt elsewhere that we had to be too. We paid for cleaning with spa included, paid 2 weeks in advance. After the girl who cleaned the pool left we noticed that the spa nor pool had been vacuumed. The next day we went into the store and that same girl was there and when she was questioned about it she stated that the do not vacuum spa's but we were being charged additional for the spa. So we paid 100.00 for a month for someone to put chemicals in our pool. I will never use them again and would never recommend them to anyone else. read more

My husband has been going to this store for the past 2 years so he felt very comfortable with them coming to change the sand in our filter system which by the way cost over $300. The tech then comes and tells me he's finished and that my husband needs to backwash it when he gets home before the pump turns on and he then leaves. I called by husband and told him what the tech said, he was mad he figured he should have done it with the filter change. He called the Sea Turtle and the tech told the manager that I didn't know where the hose was, and that's why he didn't backwash the pool. He flat out lied, he never asked me for the hose. Trust me don't you think that if I could have saved my poor husband, who worked all day, gets home when it's dark, from having to backwash the pool I would??!! I knew where the hose was and if I didn't I could make a phone call and find out. My husband called them the next day and was told this lie again he confronted them and they had nothing to say. No I'm sorry for the confusion or well come back out and backwash the pool, or well give you a dicount or anything. I feel that this was very unprofessional and I will never use this company again or recommended them to anyone. read more
