My pool pump had burned out and needed to be either repaired or replaced. They asked me to send a couple of pictures and answer a few questions, then provided quotes for both repair and replacement options. I also did some research on the company and found out they are licensed, bonded, and insured, which gave me peace of mind. Their pricing was also very reasonable compared to other quotes we received. In the end, we decided to replace the pool pump. Chris explained the quote and options, Robyn handled the scheduling and payment process, and Michael came out for the installation. I've had Chris out 3 times now - once for a one-time pool cleaning (due to health issues I'd ignored it for a while and it was a mess), once to replace the pump, and to install a new pool vac/cleaner. The pool cleaning was done perfectly, quickly, and at a very reasonable rate for the labor and the chemicals used to kill algae and balance the water. When my pump died, I called PoolSide again, and Chris came out and installed a new Hayward pump. He spent extra time getting the pump to fit properly due to the tight spacing of all the equipment but got it in, and also repaired a wiring issue left by the previous installer. The additional labor he covered at no charge. When I asked what he would recommend to replace my Hayward Poolvac (I've had 3 over the 30+ years I've had the pool - all were a pain) he recommended another Hayward, but one that was designed by another company, and he highly recommended it. So next trip was to install the pool cleaner. Again, stellar service and top-notch advice - the pump and cleaner have now been running for several months without issue. The cleaner runs consistently, never gets stuck, and cleans very well. There is a *similar* version of this cleaner available on Amazon, etc., as well as local pool stores, but the version Chris sells is a "Pro" version, and it clearly has more robust moving parts, but is only available from service personnel - at virtually no price premium (at least when I got mine). Bottom line, PoolsSide's scheduling is fast and efficient, the service is appropriate, professional, and accurate, is very reasonably priced, and their personnel are, well...personable! As an old curmudgeon, I am seldom pleased with the service I get these days, but Chris and PoolSide won me over! You simply can't go wrong with them. read more

We thought we had an underground leak from our pool and called poolside. They came out and were pretty sure it wasn't a pool leak. There was a huge wet spot next to the pool every morning after the pump had been running so I was still convinced we had a leak. After they did some basic tests, one of the guys mentioned that we might have a sprinkler spraying from a neighbor's yard into ours. Sure enough, at 5:30 the next morning, there was a fountain of water coming from the neighbor's yard. A couple days later, our pump started leaking. Saro dropped by on his way home and was able to solve the problem in 5-minutes, including the time it took to explain what was happening. Poolside has always been there for my needs No matter the size of the job. Very friendly and very professional.

I had them convert my pool to a saltwater system to avoid the high costs of chlorine and not have to deal with keeping the chlorine levels in check after every storm. They got me a quote and were out to do the installation quickly. They plumbed it all nicely behind the wall blocking the pump and it looks great! No more remembering to check chlorine or deal with a dirty pool after storms. The system comes on every night with the timer and does its thing. It happened again. I called so many "professionals" who don't answer their phone, or return calls, or come when they say will or do the job, my pool turned green while waiting for them all to get to work. I had called and spoke to Robin. We even had a good laugh about the behaviors of some of the other "professional" pool companies in the Phoenix area. Little did I know they would end up the same. I was told that Chris would call me by the beginning of the next week, or she would call herself. Off to a good start, right? I explained what I had, and what I needed and wanted. Sure... no problem, we will help you. Well, Chris did call (hooray)... I was on my way! Well, at least I thought that. He came out, also couldn't find my clean out drain. I never heard of it before. He felt like one of the others, that I had to drain the pool and the hot tub. You can see by the pictures that I didn't! Then he said I needed a plumber to find the clean out, and another company for the hot tub - because they only worked on in-ground spas. So why take the job if you don't work on what was needed? When I brought that up, yup, they were gone too. Never before saw so many companies who don't need the work, or are too far, or can't return calls. Anyway, in the end, probably better that they didn't do the job, since I really didn't need to drain the pool as suggested. They may be nice people, and may have shown up, but I can't recommend them for pool work, unless you want to make a mountain out of a mole hill. Good luck finding someone. read more

We "inherited" Saro and his crew when we purchased our home in Willo. The seller was very happy with their service and we saw no reason to look elsewhere.
