I was touring the property with Alexis because I recommended the building to a friend relocating from New York who was specifically looking for a loft-style apartment. During the tour, it became immediately apparent that the building has undergone significant improvements. The common areas are better maintained, the property feels more inviting, and there is a noticeable sense of organization and professionalism throughout. The new management team has clearly invested time and effort into enhancing both the appearance and overall resident experience. Alexis was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to answer all of our questions while highlighting the updates and amenities available to residents. It was refreshing to see how much attention has been given to improving the property since I lived there. The building has a completely different feel today than it did in the past. The improvements are visible throughout the property, and it's clear that management is focused on creating a better living environment for residents. Based on what I saw during the tour, I would feel comfortable recommending the building to friends and family looking for a unique loft-style living experience in the area. It's great to see a property evolve in such a positive direction, and the efforts of the management team have certainly not gone unnoticed.

Although the positives far outweigh the negatives in all fairness there are two that are quite concerning. The vagrant population has always been an issue in downtown Hollywood and there are no shortage of them migrating around the immediate area. The other issue that creates an unwanted anxiety is the extremely limited guest parking situation, which I endure each time I visit with a constant fear of getting booted, towed or fined. The QR Parking Attendant app thankfully worked this time without issues. Beautiful spacious lobby with a friendly security officer until 3am. Rather just mention I have lived here before and couldn't wait to be back. The location is perfect in so many ways. Walking distance to young circle, downtown, best of wine, restaurants, and hang out lounges. Really I could just stop with location. But the building has a great vibe. However the building is not built well and I can hear the children in the apartment above me running and playing. I can hear the squeaky bed, the patio door above me opening and closing. I can hear when the dog three stories above me is barking and hammering. Our apartment is right across from the door to the parking garage and of course no one cares how it slams shut or the noise of people entering the building so that is more noise for our enjoyment. We sleep with a noise box and ear plugs to drown out the noise! You also get a great deal of noise from the activities going on in Young Circle on the weekends and the noise from the people partying at the restaurants and walking around. Our apartment is facing Harrison Blvd and Young circle so it's very loud. One night I called the police (had to leave a message) because the music was so loud I couldn't hear my television 6 ft away from me. Also the garbage trucks come bright and early in the mornings so you get that beeping and banging from the truck. The office staff are cold and unfriendly!! No one greets you with a smile or how do you do it's state your business and be gone with you. In calling the office with the noise issues I was told basically to deal with it and get ear plugs. I went down to get a package and one your man was in the office working so I asked him for my package. He never said hello, hows it going, just handed me my box. On the way out I shouted to him "would it kill you to be nice"? I've lived in many apartments all over the world and never have come across such rude unengaged staff! My apartment is a nice apartment but since we've moved in I have had repair people here for 8 times to fix plumbing, electrical, installing lights and fans which I had to request. The refrigerator went out, the air conditioner broke which caused the floors to have to be replaced. It has been a difficult place to live in and has caused a great deal of stress. The parking garage is owned by the city so we only get one parking pass with the apartment. We have two cars so my husband had to get a yearly parking pass which we paid for at 150.00 for the year. Now a new rule is going in and you can't get a yearly pass you have to pay by the month which I believe is close to 80.00 a month so that needs to be considered in the monthly charges. Also we couldn't get Direct TV we had to get Comcast because of the location of our apartment so if you don't want to get stuck with Comcast make sure you are facing West. We are very friendly out going people and have lived here for a year and have no friends to speak of. No one wants to engage in a conversation, not many make eye contact, this has not been a good experience at all!! I would not recommend this property to anyone who values their peace and quiet.

Again, they advertise (and you pay for) a "GATED COMMUNITY" The fact that the main gate remains WIDE OPEN TO ANYONE 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, results in cars "short cutting" off of Sheridan, blasting through the wide open entrance, and ignoring the 15 mph speed limit as they barrel through the complex to reach northbound 5th Avenue. I WAS NEARLY RUN OVER BY A PICKUP TRUCK SPEEDING THROUGH THE COMPLEX AND REFUSING TO SLOW DOWN AS MUCH AS I WAVED MY ARMS UP AND DOWN TO TRY AND NOT GET RUN OVER.
